这天来跟大家分享一本科幻类的小说——《化身博士》。主人公是杰基尔博士，他很优秀，很善良，几乎是个完美的人，有着很高的声望。但在这些光环背后，他的压力也是巨大的。于是，他做了一个大胆的实验，调配了一种药水，能使自己变成另一个完全相反的人——海德。海德长相丑陋，凶暴残忍，心狠手辣。

起初，杰基尔博士只是尝试，想倾诉自己心底的某些声音，但之后，不需要药水身体也会自己变成海德，而且越来越频繁。最后，海德杀了人，但这时，配置的药水用完了。博士透过纸条的形式让用人去买，但却再也买不到那次买的那种纯度的药了，因此，海德再也变不会杰基尔博士了。

这个故事让我想到，其实我们每个人心里都有一些“邪恶的念头”，而我们也都是有“双重性格”的人，只是我们能够控制住自己，我们有理智的头脑去评判对与错，有传统的观念去辨别好与坏。我们的思想支配着我们的行为去做就应做的事，但有时我们也需要一种方式来释放心里的压抑，这就需要选取一种正确适宜的方式，不能肆意的放纵自己，否则就会像杰基尔博士一样到最后无法控制自己而悔恨终生。

同时还有另一个明白就是人们总是对现状感到不满，总是期望生活中再多些什么来满足自己的需求，但却很少思考自己的需求是否合理。而当需求得到满足同样变为现实后，人们又会寻找到其他的需求，但是大家却没有想过需求得到满足的同时也会带来危险，一些违背客观规律的做法得到的结果是无法预料的。因此我们就应珍惜眼前的生活，身边的一切，这样我们就能感受到真正的幸福了。

我很容易沉浸在幻想的世界里，《化身博士》这本书给我一个很独特的幻想空间，里面的博士因为从来不会克制自己的行动和欲望，所以经常犯下很多的错误，于是他发明了一种化学药剂，可以在自己有很恐怖的欲望的时候克制住自己的思维，他喝下这种药剂后就继续着他的生活，但是也给他的生活带来很多的问题，里面的一个场景让人哭笑不得，在一个聚会的高潮时，博士忽然逃离了聚会的现场，不知踪影，其实是他的脑海中又一次萌发了恐怖的想法，所以他无可奈何，只好用逃离现实的圈套来委曲求全地不让自己犯下更大的错误。可以说，他活的很艰难。

我很为他感到惋惜，因为他是一个好人至少是从内心来说，因为不会克制自己而被生活，被命运所戏弄，所以我们在日常生活中也要学会克制自己，日久天长，才会有一个良好的习惯，这种良好的习惯再一次统治你的心灵，可以让你在规矩的束缚下循规蹈矩的生活，慢慢它会让你受益终生。

不过我们毕竟也不愿意被规矩时时处处地管束，让我们的心灵受到一种莫名其妙的奴役，但是如果适应了自我约束，就可以在潜意识中形成一种规律，渐渐的，也就适应了适合自己的学习和生活的方法。

很多人都是双重性格，天使和恶魔同时居住在一个肉身里。无论发生什么，两者都会争论不休。但不管最后如何决定行为，都由肉身的主人来选择(做)天使，还是魔鬼。或者是万劫不复，或许是海阔天空。

《化身博士》里主人公是个工作狂，也算是个科学家。自己配制了一种药剂，吃下之后变成了恶魔——完完全全改变了自己的肉身，连性格都变得暴躁易怒，凶狠恶毒。成为恶魔的博士甚至因为恶意而杀死了一个人。事情越发严重，博士自己配置的解药效力也变得越来越弱了。博士最后因为深深的愧疚，也结束了自己的生命。

如果可以把灵魂具象化，会出现什么样的情况呢?巧合中看了一部电影就叫做《黄金罗盘》，电影里的人生活在一个和现实相同的平行世界。所有人的灵魂都具象化成为一个动物——做自己的守护灵。有的人拥有一条蛇，有的人是狮子，有的人是猴子，我幻想自己如果生活在那个世界里，我的灵魂也许是一只小土狗，普通的存在着。话说回来，如果喝下药水能成为另外一个自己，想必是有些惊悚的。变身后的自己，是另外一个单独的存在，没有身份证明，没有亲戚朋友，你拥有一切，也失去一切。

突然想起了星爷的电影，从小我就看，虽然并不是所有的都看了，但是从我看的电影中，我发现周星驰一直在强调一个简单而又深刻的道理——勿忘初心。在《功夫》里，星爷开头和结尾都是保持着一个干净而纯真的人格，当然中间走了许多弯路。化身博士在最后，其实是心中的恶魔战胜了天使，使得博士在后面即便想方设法的加大解药剂量，也都无法让现状恢复。

或许小说只是小说，并不真实。然而艺术毕竟源于生活。生活中有一些精神分裂者，我想或许就是因为他们心中的天使战败了，没有找到灵魂的平衡点，从而使得恶灵具象化——当然特殊情况可以排除，比如说因为某些疾病而引起的。

《化身博士》是一本很薄的书，但是却提醒我初衷的重要性。我想在未来或许会出现这种情况，或许我会迷失。但我会尽量去寻找平衡点，就像《美丽心灵》里的主人公那样——如果你无法打败他们，那么就不要再挣扎，寻找合适的方法，生死共存。

这本小说故事设定很简单，受人爱戴、德高望重的杰基尔博士，发明了一种特殊药水，喝下后身体可以扭曲变形，变成另一个人，也就是杰基尔博士的另一面，海德。杰基尔博士喝下这个药水变成海德，在海德的肉身下做尽了坏事，却可以把所有罪过赖在海德身上，饮下再一剂药水后他又可以变回那个一本正经、受人爱戴的博士。就像书中写道“你是否想过变成另外一个人?是否正看着你所认识的某个人想：‘他想干什么就干什么，怎么我就不行?’你是否想到变成另外一个人，就算只有一天，你也可以随心所欲了，想干什么就干什么?没人会为此指责你的，因为没人知道那个人就是你——本来么，那已经不是你了。要是变成了另一个人该多么刺激啊!”当杰基尔博士不再被肉体所约束，心里的阴暗面就肆无忌惮的迸发了。

有些人认为是这剂药水使外表风度翩翩的博士变得矮小丑陋，从善良变得邪恶，从杰基尔变成另一个人。但我认为，海德并不是凭空产生的，他其实一直隐藏在杰基尔博士的体内，在没有服用药水之前就与他共存。药水的力量可怕在于，它并不是使杰基尔博士恶的一面增强了，而是使他善的一面完全消失了。这也就是为什么书中所有人仅仅是看一眼海德都会从内心里感到厌恶和强烈的反感。因为海德是彻底的恶的化身，没有一丝一毫我们所歌颂的人性中的善良或是美好。

所以早在药水发明之前，杰基尔博士的两个人格就在斗争，他自己也清楚的认识到人性中如此深刻的两面性。他自述对这两个方面都极其真诚：“我抛开有一切约束、一头扎进丑事堆的时候，和我在光天化日之下努力钻研学问或减轻别人痛苦的的时候，同样都是我自己。”因为看过一些双重人格和多重人格的小说和电影，我主要想就这部小说中人格分裂这一重要部分谈一谈我的看法。

我不太相信这世界上有彻底的善或是彻底的恶，我认为每个人都有两面，简单地说就是我们光明的一面和阴暗的一面。我们都是一个善恶的矛盾共同体。

而至于为什么杰基尔博士会有比常人更壁垒分明的善与恶，也就是为什么他人性中的双重性会成为一种病(人格分裂症)，我认为是这样的：这与杰基尔博士无法被人接受、无法得到实现的愿望有关。杰基尔博士从年少起就有十分远大的抱负，并且确实天赋异禀且勤勉，他对自己的个人定位就很高，想取得很大的成就，想成为受人尊敬、被人仰慕的对象，所以他对自己“闲不住、爱享乐”这方面的欲望就极力压抑、掩盖。书中他自己说：“我为自己树立的远大抱负，使我几乎怀着一种病态的羞愧心理看待并掩盖这种反常的状态。”当他之后取得成就也真的成为德高望重的医生时，他内心的放荡与欲望就更需被小心翼翼地隐蔽于外人。杰基尔的纠结正在于此，他的身份冲突表现的是两个阶层的冲突，彼此不屑，彼此隔离，彼此厌恶，同时又从不同角度彼此吸引。而这些欲望随时间的流逝非但没有被忘却，反而一直被下意识地保留在内心深处。它们就像活的火山那样聚集着能量，直到有一天突然爆发。在上课的时候，老师曾经引用过一句话，一直让我印象深刻。这句话是：“被掩盖和压抑之物终极会以扭曲和危险的形式重现。”所以杰基尔博士越是比常人克制隐藏内心的阴暗面，他越是想追求放纵的自由。两种人格将他拉扯，形成了人格分裂的状态。正是应了那句话：“人性不可解放，一旦彻底解放人性，人性之恶将无从约束;人性也不可以过分压抑，压抑人性的结果，只能是积累仇恨，物极必反。

There is a devil lives in our hearts.Sometimes our happiness stems from others' misfortune.This makes us feel shamed.Every now and then I wonder whether there is a method that can remove the devil from our hearts.In this way, the evil part of me won't feel shamed, meanwhile, the good part of me won't get happiness from others' misfortune.After reading this novella entitled “Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde”, I think it's better to shut down this bad idea.This novella is written by the famous Scottish author, Robert Louis Stevenson.It is about a London lawyer named John Gabriel Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr.Henry Jekyll and the evil Edward Hyde.Dr.Henry Jekyll was a scientist who was always considered as a serious, hard-working doctor.Behind this character, however, he was an active, fun-loving young man-about-town.He had spent most of his life trying to remove the devil from his heart which was not fitting for a man of his stature.After much thought, he finally decided to create a drug that could give each side of his character it's own separate face and body.Then, he bravely drank the drug and successfully transformed himself into the smaller, younger, cruel, remorseless, evil Edward Hyde.Dr.Jekyll enjoyed his secret very much--but not for ever after.As time went by, Mr.Hyde grew in power.After taking the drug repetitively, Dr.Jekyll no longer needed to use the drug to relief his devil.Eventually, Mr.Hyde grew so strong that Dr.Jekyll had to rely on the drug to remain himself.He first injured a child in street, then beat Sir Danvers to death for no reason.Realizing he would soon become Hyde forever, Dr.Jekyll left behind a confession and commit suicide.Generally speaking, every man has two sides to his character.Just like Dr.Jekyll was a serious, hard-working doctor which concealed a irresponsible man who pleasured around underneath.Dr.Jekyll had noticed it quiet well, but he should have known that a normal people could not be two people live uncomfortably together in the same body.It sounds more like “dual personalities”.Feeling complacent about his creation, Dr.Jekyll didn't notice that he was trapped.Before the experiment, Dr.Jekyll was just a double-dealer.And after it, he became a person with dual personalities.Each personality wanted to control the body.Unfortunately, good didn't prevail over evil.Dr.Jekyll grew weak while Mr.Hyde grew powerful.Actually, the two sides of a person have well defined power and responsibility, mutual coordination and restraint.They know the appropriate time and situation to behave themselves.You can be serious at work with a character likes Dr.Jekyll and have your private life as crazy as you want.This is nothing to be ashamed of, but Dr.Jekyll didn't realize it at that time.During the one-month internship, I have noticed that there are a great numbers of teachers wear a double face.They treat students strictly, meanwhile, they are quite friendly with their collogues and parents of students.This makes their life much easier.Everyone plays different roles in different situations.We needn't to shame about it.The double-dealers can always gain advantage from both sides and live well.When Dr.Jekyll took the drug and devided into two person, this tragedy is waiting to happen.The two person are quite simply.Dr.Jekyll shared no effort to do good and Mr.Hyde committed all manner of evil.Through the death of Dr.Jekyll/Mr.Hyde, the author tried to expound his point: If you can't rein in your devil, you would be punished at last.In the unknown corner of people's deepest heart, good coexists with evil.In the story of deers and wolves, people simply thought that deers could live better without wolves.As a matter of fact, deers could not live without wolves.They maintained an appropriate balance in the forest.But for the chasing of wolves, deers couldn't be strong and healthy.Similarly, when separated, the good side of Dr.Jekyll became weaker and weaker.Instead, the evil side of him became stronger and stronger without the restraint of the good side.But the evil side, Mr.Hyde couldn't live without Dr.Jekyll, because they shared a body.So when Dr.Jekyll committed suicide, Mr.Hyde dead,too.It is too late for Dr.Jekyll to realize that having two characters is nothing to be ashamed of.But I learned a lot from this novella.There is a “Jekyll” and a “Hyde” in everybody.I will face up to my desires and try to strengthen heart for good to defeat the devil.Nothing is difficult in the world for one who sets his mind to do it.

Recently I read a book named Dr.JekyII and Mr.Hyde.It is a quite interesting book.This novel is written by the famous Scottish author, Robert Louis Stevenson.It is about a London lawyer named John Gabriel Utterson who investigates strange behavior in his old friend, Dr.Hey Jekyll and the evil Edward Hyde.Dr.Hey Jekyll was a scientist who was always considered as a serious, hard-working doctor.Behind this character, however, he was an active, fun-loving young man-about-town.He had spent most of his life trying to remove the devil from his heart which was not fitting for a man of his stature.After much thought, he finally decided to create a drug that could give each side of his character it's own separate face and body.Then, he bravely drank the drug and successfully transformed himself into the smaller, younger, cruel, remorseless, evil Edward Hyde.Dr.Jekyll enjoyed his secret very much--but not for ever after.As time went by, Mr.Hyde grew in power.After taking the drug repetitively, Dr.Jekyll no longer needed to use the drug to relief his devil.Eventually, Mr.Hyde grew so strong that Dr.Jekyll had to rely on the drug to remain himself.He first injured a child in street, then beat Sir Danvers to death for no reason.Realizing he would soon become Hyde forever, Dr.Jekyll left behind a confession and commit suicide.For most of the book, I believed that the story concerns two people.Dr Jekyll who born in a rich family , is a kindly old doctor, with two very old friends, Utterson and Lanyon.Mr.Hyde is a smaller, younger man, with a capacity of evil and repels everyone he meets.And yet, despite being apparent opposites in so many ways, there are clear links between the two men.Hyde gives the family of a child he has beaten a cheque signed by Jekyll.Hyde has a key to the back entrance to Jekyll’s house, and Hyde can come and go at will and give orders to Jekyll’s servants.And when Dr.JekyII’s friend, Utterson received a letter from Hyde saying that he is going away for ever, but realizing that it is in Jekyll’s handwriting.Finally, the narrator tells the truth about the two men.They are one and the same.I learnt that Robert Louis Stevenson is a Gothic author through the Internet.Gothic authors recognize that all human beings have the capacity for goodness, but all people also have a shadow side, and it is the degree to which one sublimates and controls his or her darker impulses that prevents one from becoming consumed with evil.In his novel, the central problem of Dr.Jekyll is that he cannot accept this truism about humanity and, particularly, about himself.Actually, the two sides of a person have well defined power and responsibility, mutual coordination and restraint.They know the appropriate time and situation to behave themselves.You can be serious at work with a character likes Dr.Jekyll and have your private life as crazy as you want.This is nothing to be ashamed of, but Dr.Jekyll didn't realize it at that time.Everyone plays different roles in different situations.We needn't to shame about it.The double-dealers can always gain advantage from both sides and live well.When Dr.Jekyll took the drug and devided into two person, this tragedy is waiting to happen.Human will be destroyed not by natural disaster but the evil inside human.But how can we deal with this serious problem, the inner conflict of good and evil? First, we should correct the idea that we can kill off the evil side.Instead, we should acknowledge it, and then make the good side power by developing good habits step by step.We are educated citizens living in this beautiful planet.We are the hope in the future.We know what is right and what is wrong, and we have the obligations to regulate our behavior in accordance with the code of ethics.When we are doing things, we should consider whether it is morally right.Make this consideration a habit.Second, pay more attention to self-cultivation and adjusting attitude at any time in any place.In the course of human events, we have experienced the dark days of hard-working, when people work the whole day and the whole night like a crow without a short time of rest.Such a horrible life has gone forever.Third, release bad emotions as soon as possible.Unhealthy emotions can not be avoided, but we can release it through some healthy ways, such as running, playing sports, talking with others and so on.The more depression we hide, the more split personalities we tend to have.It is just the stimulation of the depression that causes many people totally become evil.Last but not least, don’t emphasize too much on the gain and loss of personal interests.In this colorful world, there exist various kinds of personal interests, especially pecuniary interest.I really learn a lot from the book “Dr Jekyll and Mr.Hyde”.It is a warning for us to review our behavior.The future is bright, but road is tortuous.In order to grow healthily, we’d better drop the bad behavior and bad attitude.Every thing can be settled, only if we have the determination.

《化身博士》是十九世纪英国著名小说家罗伯特·路易斯·史蒂文森笔下的一部经典恐怖小说。写于1886年，英文名为《The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde》，直译为“杰基尔博士和海德先生的奇异故事”。杰基尔博士和海德先生就是这部小说的主人公，这是一个关于人格分裂的可怕故事。

《化身博士》是一部中篇小说，篇幅不长两天就可以读完，但是其情节非常紧凑并曲折离奇。虽然主要采用第三人称的写法，但是却很像第一人称，读者会很自然地把自已置于厄特森的位置。作者采用这样写法可能是为了强调厄特森并不是小说的主人公，而是整个悬疑事件的揭露者，还使整个故事充满传奇色彩。

小说的主要情节是这样的：律师厄特森是一个正直善良的人，他从他的朋友恩菲尔德那里打听到了爱德华•海德先生的事迹，这是一个外表凶狠丑陋，残忍恐怖的变态人物，会晚上出来伤害路人。其实厄特森早就知道了海德，律师的好朋友亨利•杰基尔博士给他了一份遗嘱，内容是如果博士失踪或死后，将所有遗产送给海德。杰基尔博士是一个和蔼，慈祥的好人。律师和博士还有一个共同的朋友，兰宁医生，他与杰基尔有学术上的分歧，但不妨碍是好朋友。后来厄特森发现海德经常去杰基尔的家，但是杰基尔告诉厄特森海德不对他们有任何危险。后来发生了一件命案，凶手就是海德，但已不见踪影，厄特森和他的同事经过调查，发现了杰基尔博士包庇了海德，不过厄特森没有向警方提出自己的朋友。后来海德先生再也没有出现，博士也恢复了健康状况，厄特森感到比较安心了。

可是后来杰基尔又开始不再见客人，律师去找兰宁医生，发现医生变得衰老，病危，而且对杰基尔的事非常恐惧。不久之后兰宁去世，给厄特森留下了一份信，写着：“到亨利•杰基尔博士死亡或失踪时方可拆阅。”后来厄特森发现博士越来越怪异，从不出书房，与世隔绝。终于在“最后一夜”，厄特森接到博士的仆人普尔的求助后，与普尔闯进了博士的书房，发现了海德在里面服毒自杀。最后，按照杰基尔留下的遗嘱，厄特森先读了兰宁的那封信，终于知道了真相。海德就是杰基尔博士，博士发明了一种药，服用后就可以使相貌变化，使自己变成海德。小说的最后博士的忏悔书，讲了杰基尔这些事的原因及自己的忏悔，他为了实现欲望变成了可恨的海德，却因为犯下的错悔恨不已，最后痛苦地自杀。

《化身博士》是史蒂文森的一部重要代表作，史蒂文森是英国文学新浪漫主义的代表之一，他的另一部优秀小说《金银岛》，是关于寻找海盗宝藏的故事，也是他的浪漫小说中最受欢迎的一部。与《金银岛》那种浪漫、趣味冒险、积极向上，适合小孩子阅读的特点不同，《化身博士》的特点是怪诞、恐怖，描述人的心理变动，深刻揭示了人性的缺陷，适合喜欢研究人格心理的大人阅读。不过因为其悬疑荒诞的故事情节，一个多世纪以来和《金银岛》一样受到了包括儿童在内的无数读者的喜爱，改编成了多部电影、电视剧、电子游戏。这部小说开创了双重人格题材文艺作品的先河，这种现在随处可见的作品类型，在当时那个时代可是引起巨大的轰动，奠定了史蒂文森在世界文学殿堂不可动摇的地位，后来“Jekyll and Hyde”一词成为心理学“双重人格”的代称。《化身博士》与《金银岛》也有显著的共同点，那就是史蒂文森的写作特点：故事生动鲜明、紧凑刺激、扣人心弦，充满了想象力。

《化身博士》除了上述的写作特点，它除了是一部恐怖小说，还是个侦探悬疑小说，那个“侦探”就是厄特森律师。文字紧凑简易，但是对人物和场景的刻画十分到位，大部分时间在晚上，成功营造了一个黑暗恐怖的氛围。没有对杰基尔博士有过多的介绍性描写，却在小说第一段详细介绍了律师厄特森，使读者误以为主人公是厄特森，使听说过这本书的读者以为厄特森就是那名化身博士。小说一共分9章，每章有一个简短但概括合理的小标题，也让读者产生神秘感，比如“一扇神秘的门”、“朋友之死”、“窗户上的脸”等。小说中还有一个细节是出现了很多封信件，这也是侦探小说中经常出现的东西。第三人称与第一人称相结合也是个很好的特点，文章没有过多的心理描写，大多数是语言描写，这也是侦探小说的常用写法，不过在最后两章（兰宁的信和博士的忏悔书）却用了第一人称的写法，用了大量心理描写。这样就让这部小说虽然悬疑程度比不上一般破案小说，但是相比于一般侦探小说更上了一个层次，让它充满了哲学内涵，使它成为反映人类心理世界名著。

接下来在了解小说内容和写作特点的基础上，分析一下《化身博士》的中心思想，和关于爱与正义、忏悔与宽恕等方面的问题。

小说的主题是双重人格，人性中的善与恶。人格的词义是指人所具有的与他人相区别的独特而稳定的思维方式和行为风格，杰基尔与海德就具有两种完全不同的思维方式和行为风格，一个代表善，一个代表恶。一般人格分裂这种病的原因是受到惊吓和巨大的心理打击，可是在杰基尔身上却不是这样，他是完全自愿的，双重人格对他来说不是病，而是他的理想。这种不好的理想才是病。小说的主题集中体现在博士的忏悔录里，他年轻时发现了人性的两面性：“外面的人把我看成一本正经、勤奋工作的博士，但在这安静的性格下，却是活泼、爱玩的交际场里的老手。”并且对此不感到羞愧，“那该有多奇妙，”我想，“如果我能分离开两种性格，给爱玩的这一边以充分的自由。这样，他就可以自己出去，玩个痛快，而把严肃认真、勤奋上进的杰基尔博士留下来，继续做对他至关重要、拯救生灵的工作。”这种看似美好的想法，却是罪恶的根源，他不知道怎样才能“玩个痛快”而不变成恶魔。后来他花费多年的时间研究变身药，想实现这种“美梦”，兰宁应该这个时候与他在科学上有分歧。后来他成功了，他变成了海德，他欣喜若狂，他也懂得要及时变回医生去“拯救生灵”。可是到最后恶的一面逐渐占上风，即使不吃药也会变成海德，而很难变回去，于是他由可控的“人格分裂”变成了不可控的。完全成了两个人，彼此不知道对方干了什么事，比多重人格症更可怕，因为变的时候连外貌也变了。于是海德更加为非作歹，杰基尔的良心更加痛苦。而且“我想普尔已经告诉你我找药找遍了伦敦，但却毫无结果，我这才明白第一批货是不纯的，正是我和药剂师都还不认识的那种杂质使我的药成功了。这么说来，我配的药便是偶然的发现，不可能重复的。”于是博士绝望了，选择了自杀。围绕着主题谈一下爱与正义。小说没有讲爱情的内容，但是也体现出了爱的内涵。杰基尔不懂什么是爱，什么是正义。他认为帮助别人是对别人的爱和正义，而对自己不是，对自己是痛苦。要想爱自己，抚慰自己，必须让他人付出，让他人感到痛苦。这种恶念在年轻时就出现在博士的脑海里，他受够了帮助他人时的付出，他想要“实质”的回报，他对人心的善恶虚伪感到可耻，他克服不了欲望对善良的进攻。这就是他根本上想变身的原因，他想要更“纯粹”的自我。

忏悔方面，杰基尔博士最后写了长篇的忏悔书，对自己犯下的错误做了深深的忏悔。忏悔意味着对责任的担当，改过，对未来的希望。可是博士再也没有机会了，他没有药了，“继续忏悔也没有用了。最终，灾难还是到了，终于给我的惩罚画上了句号。”忏悔是为了祈求宽恕，读者读到最后应该会宽恕他，可是真正的宽恕必须来自受害者，受害者会宽恕他吗？假如博士还有药，变回来后，他能经受住欲望不变回去吗？博士经常徘徊于善恶之间，但最后总是海德胜利，这还是很让人担心的。所以说，他真的忏悔了吗？他因为变不回去而忏悔，要是有药的话他还会写吗？而且杰基尔还对海德有怜悯之心，“只是海德自己怕死，所以才没有杀了我。他对生命渴望极了，他明白要是杀了我，他自己也就死了。我心里不禁对他多少有点怜悯。”对犯罪宽恕，那么自己就不会得到别人的宽恕。而且他将罪责推向了海德，不能正视自己的错误，完全把海德当做另一个人，没有在上段分析的根本原因上忏悔自己的错误，他忏悔没有新的视角和价值立场。他在对海德犯的错而忏悔，虽然令人感动，却不是在为真正的完整的自己忏悔。这样看来，他就不值得宽恕了吗？这也是不对的。人们说可怜之人必有可恨之处，其实不如说可恨之人必有可怜之处，况且宽恕也不是以对方的忏悔为前提。宽恕也会成为忏悔的原因。所以人们不能明确指出杰基尔博士是否忏悔，他能否真正忏悔还得看别人对他的看法和作为。在小说中博士的朋友也是很少的，所以他一直固执己见。

每个人的人心都有善恶两面，杰基尔博士的想法是正确的。可是他想要分开善恶，给善与恶分别赋予一个身体，这是错误的。他想要纯粹地活着，要么很善，要么很恶，要么交替着善与恶，绝不能同时存在。为了让别人看得起自己，只是善良是很累的，要是表现出一点“恶”的举动，别人就会看不起自己，这种矛盾只可以创造一个海德先生来解决。他不知道人心就是善恶的结合体，不然就不是人心，他不知道善良的心会被邪恶的心所折磨，邪恶的心会受到善良的心制约，人不可能“纯粹”地活着，就像上帝和恶魔从来不会出现一样。

杰基尔靠转移恶来换得别人的尊敬是不可行的，他那么在意别人的看法，却不知道别人其实也有恶，也许比他还恶，活的更累。有一点恶并不全部是恶，看待事物不能太绝对，犯一点错误别人是可以理解的。

对立即互补。不能绝对地看待事物，善恶都有存在的价值。如果全世界只有善良，那是非常可怕的，现在世界就是一个逐渐由恶转向善的进化的过程，而进化的终点就是灭亡，世界末日就是世界再也不能消除邪恶，不能提升的那一天，幸福全都在这漫漫的过程之中。而人也是这样，我们不求成为圣人，要是能成为圣人必须要以世界上出现一个魔鬼为代价那我们更不愿意。我们只有以圣人为榜样，慢慢地一点一点地做善事，坚守自己不做坏事的信念，克服不当的欲望，理解别人的难处和错误，懂得帮助别人就是爱自己。那样我们才能活得轻松，活得很幸福。
