在英语教学中适度渗透德育教育
小学英语的课程标准倡导任务型的教学模式,教师根据要学习的内容来设计各种任务,让学生在教师的指导下,通过思考、调查、讨论、交流与合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。它能激发学生的学习积极性,使学生积极、主动,创造性地实现教学目标,以获得“即学即用”的技能。它能培养学生的创新意识和创新能力,同时还能培养学生的合作意识和团结精神。它充分体现学生的主体地位,培养学生综合语言运用能力。然而,每一节英语课给学生布置一个难度适当的任务,并在任务设计中巧妙地和德育渗透紧密地结合起来,让学生既能运用所学知识完成任务,在任务完成过程中使所学知识得到进一步操练、巩固、连贯和提高,使自己的语言运用能力得到加强,又使他们受到良好思想的熏陶,使他们的情感得到交流、习惯得到培养、道德品质受到影响,为他们树立正确的人生观、价值观、世界观奠定基础。
在新标准一样第八册(三起)M8U1中,其主题是谈论模范人物Helen Keller。教学中我设计了任务“Let’s learn the story of Helen Keller and then tell the story
about her.”通过Helen Keller的故事演讲,让孩子了解Helen Keller的伟大一生,她并没有因小时候耳聋、眼瞎而退缩,而是勇敢的向前进。家庭教师让Helen学会了阅读、书写和算术,学会了用手指“说话”,让Helen增强了生活的勇气和信心。Helen如饥似渴地学习,功夫不负有心人,1900年Helen以优异的成绩考上了大学,1904年大学毕业。Helen还把她的一生献给了福利和教育事业,赢得了世界舆论的赞扬。我们要向Helen Keller学习,学习她那种不屈不挠的奋斗精神,从哪里跌倒,就从哪里站起来,我们要做生活的勇敢者。因此,情感教育成为本模块教学的一个特色:培养孩子的自信意志,相信天生我才必有用,无论遇到多大困难,只要坚持不懈,持之以恒,就一定会成功。这时的任务教学,既符合六年级学生英语水平的程度,难度适当;同时,学生们在完成任务时,良好的思想意识也在逐步建立,为他们的终身学习和发展打下了良好的基础。
总而言之,在英语教学中,教师要努力挖掘教材因素,巧妙设计的教学,适宜、适时、适度的进行德育渗透,使学生在掌握知识,发展智力的同时,在身心方面也有所进步,使学生真正全面发展。

●老师提问,学生看课文回答问题,如:“What will the students do ? When will they have a class party? Where will they meet? What will they do in the park? When will they meet? Who wrote this poster? ●老师请学生用铅笔勾出本课所有带“Let’s” 的句子,然后老师重点教授这些句子,可以提问学生这些句子的意思,也可以让学生用这个句型造句。
●老师将以下两组词:“fly, listen to, watch, go to, play, have” 和“TV, the park, kites, a picnic, football, music”分别写在卡片上,发给两组学生。当拿着一张动词卡片的学生面向全班举起卡片时,另一个手中有与此动词相配的名词卡片的学生迅速跑上前站在他/她的左边,然后全班一起读出这个动词短语。如学生A手举“fly”的卡片,手中有 “kites”的学生B迅速跑上前去站在学生A的左边,全班一起读:“fly kites”.如此类推,直到六组短语都配好。

本教学知识点源于外语教学研究出版社,小学英语(供三年级起始用)第八册Module 1第一单元。本教学知识点围绕“在快餐店点餐”展开教学的。学习“hamburger、cola、dollar、cent、enjoy”等单词及“What do you want?/I want a hot dog,please./How much is it?/It is thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.”重点句型展开教学使学生在情景中掌握教学内容,培养学生自主学习英语的能力和运用英语分析、解决问题的能力,以及交流和合作的能力。
