PEP小学英语五年级下学期 Unit 4 What are you doing? 第一课时A Let’s learn.教学设计

教学目标：

知识与技能目标：

1.能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式：drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone。

Aim 2.能运用句型 “What are you doing? I’m doing the dishes/„.”询问别人正在做什么并作答。

3.通过说唱Let’s chant部分的歌谣巩固复习Let’s learn部分的动词短语和句子。

情感目标：培养学生热爱生活的美好情感。

教学重点：本课时需要掌握五个动词短语的ing形式，能够理解下一课时的主要句型“What are you doing?”并能用“I am doing the dishes/„”作答。

教学难点：动词短语ing形式的读音。师多做示范，逐步引导学生流畅地连读。

课前准备：

1、本课时Let’s chant, Let’s learn、Let’s sing的录音带。

2、Chen Jie、Zhang Peng、John、Wu Yifan 的头饰

3、游戏用的装有动词短语的盒子

4、本课时所需课件。

教学过程：

一、Warm-up

1、Greetings

2、Play a guessing game.教师做动作，学生猜猜老师会做什么。

（设计思路：学生通过猜动作发展了发散思维，复习了有关家务劳动及运动的短语，又为新课的学习做了铺垫。）

二、Review

教师出示一个动词短语卡片，如：do the dishes,说：“I can do the dishes.”引导学生说：“I can do the dishes,too.”然后教师用其他的动词短语卡片进行替换，带领学生继续操练。教师出示课件，what can you do at home?学生自由回答。教师出示课件，师问canyou…?学生自由回答。

（设计意图：用幻灯片及其卡片主要是利用生动形象的图片吸引学生的注意力，激发学生兴趣，让学生全身心投入到课堂教学活动中。）

三、Presentation

1、教学drawing pictures，并呈现现在进行时的问答形式:What are you doing？ I am „。（1）教师在黑板上画图 I can draw pictures.Can you draw pictures?

Yes,I can.Great!.在黑板上写下draw pictures ,教师边做画画的动作,边对学生说: I am drawing pictures.然后在黑板上的短语后面加上ing变成，强调ing的发音.教师引导学生做画画的动作,并跟说: I am drawing pictures。用其他的词组进行替换,通过适当的动作引导学生理解现在进行时表达的含义.并适时帮助学生总结：在人称后面加上系动词，再把动词加上ing 就可以表示现在正在进行的动作。

（2）出示几个动词短语,请学生将动作短语转换成ing 的形式，并试着读一读.（3）导入What are you doing？句型

T：Now I’m drawing pictures 学生做画画的动作，师问：What are you doing？

多问几个学生。

学习doing the dishes.3教师出示洗碗的动作卡片，同学听发音后，教师说：I am doing the dishes.教师边做动作边说，并引导学生边做边说：doing the dishes。

2、教学cooking dinner。

（1）出示词组卡片。T：You can do the dishes.Can you cook dinner? 教师板书，领读。并说：It means: cook the meals.T:师让学生做做饭的动作，并跟说：“ I’m cooking dinner。”

教师板书ing，画连字符号、领读。（2）Drill.T:Now,please cook something and practice in pairs.You can cook eggs,noodles,tomatoes„ T:(师生示范)Mm„Yummy.What are you doing？ S1: I’m„

（设计思路：由问You can doing the dishes.Can you cook dinner?自然引出cooking dinner的教学。并用两人合作的形式，边做动作边练习，让学生全员参与，拓展了思维。）4．学习reading a book。

T：（师读书并问）What am I doing？

请生试答并板书在黑板上：I’m reading a book。

T：I’m reading an English book。Please read books and say: ：I’m reading____ book。（设计思路：让学生随便说出自己读的书，既是对旧知的复习，又是对新知的操练。）5.学习answering the phone。

（1）出示词组。Now let’s listen and look.T:(出示打电话的课件)What’s he doing ? 教师板书：answer the phone请生加ing并试读，教师强调连读，请学生单个读。

（2）操练。

A.做高低声游戏。If the teacher says quietly, the students say loudly.If the teacher says loudly, the students say quietly.（设计思路：answering the phone 这个词组的发音是难点，所以用这个游戏让学生集中注意力多次重复，加深记忆。）

B.同桌打电话练习新词组和句型。

师生示范打电话用语：T：Hello,____.This is Miss Yu.What are you doing？

S: I am„ What are you doing？

C.请同桌展示。

（设计思路：师生示范打电话，自然渗透打电话常用语，然后通过小组练习，既是对前面四个短语的阶段性总结，又渗透下节课Let’talk的内容。）

6播放Let’s Learn的flash,学生边听边跟读，力争做到“眼到、手到、口到、心到” Let’s chant.《What are you doing？》。听并跟唱，然后把全班学生分为三大组，组与组之间一问一答，并配合动作。

（设计思路：通过吟唱，使学生进一步掌握本节的短语和句型。）8 表演

四、Consolidation and extension（扩展活动）(1)、Ask and answer , pass the box.传递纸盒时,大家一起拍手问“What are you doing?”两遍，这时拿到盒子的同学从盒子中抽出一张纸，根据纸上的动词短语回答“I ’m……”

（设计思路：用 游戏的方式，强化和区分动词ing 形式的词组，教师注意适时纠正学生的发音，巩固动词短语的同时纠正发音。）

(2)Sing the song 《What are you doing?》（设计思路:歌谣朗朗上口，适合小学生年龄特点，再次巩固了本节课的句型，同时为下一节课做铺垫。）4 Let’s try.Page 47.五、总结：

T：What have you learned in this lesson? 请生回答。

师总结：本课除了学会了这些知识之外，我们还要学会丰富自己的课余生活，使自己的生活变得更加绚丽多彩。

六、Homework.Do some housework or sports ,and say them with “ing”.做自己力所能及的家务活动或课外活动，边做边用动词的ing形式来说。

本课时的教学内容是现在进行时的一些动词形式，如：listening to music,washing the clothes,cleaning the room,writing a letter,writing an e-mail,让学生能够听，说，认，读这些单词，并且能够进行应用。

本节课我始终把激发，促进和呵护学生的兴趣放在首位，努力让学生在有意义的，生动有趣的情景中操练和运用所学语言，并注重新旧知识的联系，使教学活动符合学生的心理特点和知识水平。

新课程标准指出，教学活动要以学生的生活经验和兴趣出发，内容和方式要尽量真实。教师要创设各种合作学习活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验合作的成就感，并形成合作精神。所以本节课，我屏弃了单纯的单词的教学，而是把这些单词串连起来，用讲童话故事的形式呈现给学生，让学生边看童话故事的同时，学习本课时的单词和句子。创设情景，为学生营造一个融视、听、说于一体的语言环境，使学生有如身临其境，有利于调动他们的非智力因素，加深对学习对象的理解。

在具体操练单词时，用一些小游戏，小学生往往对游戏很感兴趣，这样可以增加语言学习的趣味性。比如，我在新授单词之后，有让学生边说边做各种动作、演小双簧、猜动作等小游戏。在巩固延伸的环节中，我采用了五年级上册第四单元的一个课本图把本课的重点又提升到一个阶段。

我让学生两人一组，合作学习，练习对话“What is he/she doing?He/She is„„”

本节课的不足之处是：

1.在新授单词时应先让学生听录音，再跟读、师带读、点名读、集体读。

2.动词原形及ing形式应板书，以便学生比较、掌握，我只将其呈现在课件中，欠妥。

在今后的教学中我将再接再励，改正缺点，提高每节课的效率。

全班学生分成若干小组，每个小组第一名学生看见同一个动词短语，如reading a book ,然后分别向各组的第二名学生做看书的动作，依次类推，最先说出正确说出句子：I am reading a book.的小组获胜。Step 2 Presentation
