说课,高师大学生职业技能形成的突破口
—写在高师大学生参加全国中学化学优质课说课观摩评比之后
今年暑期,8月16日至20日中国教育学会化学教学专业委员会在内蒙古包头一机一中成功举办了“2010年全国中学化学优质课(华北区)观摩评比暨教学改革研讨会”。这次会议是以华北五省市区为主,全国优秀中学化学教师参加,由内蒙古教育学会化学教学专业委员会承办的一次集讲课、说课观摩评比以及教改研讨为一体的大会。出席大会的有中国教育学会化学教学专业委员会、北京、天津、河北、山西和内蒙古教育学会化学教学专业委员会、包头市教育局、内蒙古师范大学化学学院的领导、专家以及各地中学化学教师三百余人。会上观摩并展示了华北五省市(区)选拔推荐出来的11节现场讲课和26节说课。
其中,太原师范学院未来教师俱乐部选送的《爱护水资源》一节说课,构思巧妙,创意新颖,选手临场表现精彩,博得了与会专家和中学教师的一致好评,获得一等奖。同时,也引发了大家对于高师大学生与中学教师同台献艺竞技的举措、高师大学生的专业化发展、高师院校强化大学生的职业技能以及大学生如何向职业人转化等一系列问题的深度思考。
问题与思考
近年来,大学生就业难,是不争的事实,然而,大学生就业指导以及由此而引申的课程与教学改革却未见实质性的改观。高师院校与基础教育接轨,高师大学生了解中小学、熟悉中小学也是业内人士的共识,但在具体的操作中,诸如改革现有的高师课程结构,调整教学计划,强化师范类学生对基础教育的认知,等等,却难得有所创举。取而代之的,却是轰轰烈烈的“考研热”。
说到考研,当然是一个不错的选择,也是大学生提升自己、发展自我的一条路径。但是为什么考研?考研选什么研究方向?怎么去考?以及上了研究生之后如何发展自己?却少有人继续追究,一个所谓“充分的”理由就是为了将来好就业。这一现象更多地呈现在上世纪末以师专、师范学校为班底合并、升格、扩建的学院或师范学院里,在这些院校的各院系里,你会发现这样的荣誉牌——“考研先进单位”,在他们的报栏和宣传橱里、大型展板上,都张贴着该院系近年来上研学生的照片及简介。这些院系以学生上研为荣,入学教育即以“好好学习,将来考研”为重要内容。在他们的学生管理工作中,一项重要的内容就是做好学生的考研准备工作。系总支书记、团系委书记、班主任、辅导员等与学生工作有关的老师无不经常鼓动学生考研,做相关的引导。有的系甚至为学生提供专门的教室和场所准备考研,在教学资源的分配上,有意无意地向考研有关的课程倾斜。总之,其目的就是以“考研率”装饰自我,赢取所谓的“先进”,年年轮回,周而复始。似乎对于学生以专业为基础,个性为基质,职业为方向的发展并不介意。更不去追究学生全面、系统的发展。最后的结果,就是把高中阶段的考风延续到大学,而把大学的理念与追求完全抛之于脑后。使学生被包围在“浮躁虚华”的氛围之中,其必然的结果就是“眼高手低”、“重知轻行”、“务虚不实”。
从高师院校的课程设置来看,《教育学》、《心理学》、《学科教学论》、《微格教学》以及教育实习等课程应该是师范院校的特色课程了,然而,在现实的教学过程中大都与“思政”类课程待遇相同。由于机制、氛围、导向等多方面的制约,使得这类课程陷入了走程序和走过场的境地,学生应付应付,考个及格,拿到学分了事。至于高师四年唯一的一次教育实习,许多院校安排在大四年级进行,且多以自主的形式让学生自己联系一所学校去实习,结果大部分学生并没有实实在在地实习,而是在最后填一张表,让所联系学校写几句“好话”(评语)了事。究其原因,主要是大四这一年,第一学期为考研而忙碌,第二学期为就业而奔波,根本就没有心思静下心来好好实习,真正训练自己的从教技能。这样,师范类大学生四年本科对于教育教学的理解,仍然停留在感性的经验认识阶段,与综合大学的学生相比,根本看不出其特别之处。有些学校的毕业生甚至连一节像样的教案都写不出来,更谈不上有的放矢的设计教学了。
值得欣慰的是,太原师范学院未来教师俱乐部的探索和尝试取得了令人可喜的成绩,该俱乐部近年来主动寻求高师大学生与中小学联系的路径,积极参与省市中小学优质课讲课、说课以及优秀教学设计和教学论文的评比活动,收到了明显的效果。
探索与尝试
太原师范学院未来教师俱乐部选送说课作品,参加全国大赛,已经不是第一次了。2008年11月,在北京二中召开的“全国高中化学优质课(华北区)观摩评比暨教学改革研讨会”上,由该院课程与教学论研究室张镇老师策划、设计、指导,化学系学生陈瑞宁和郭晋枭共同参与并完成的说课《金属的腐蚀和防护》即获得了一等奖。当时,这一作品是经山西省教育学会化学教育专业委员会选拔推荐而参赛的,省化学教育专业委员会的专家给予了悉心指导。作品结合实际,大胆创新,以二人组合的形式进行说课,一经呈现,就让大家眼前一亮。加之,作品构思严谨,过程设计完整,课件制作精良并富有创意,更引起与会代表的强烈反响,受到大家一致好评。今年,该校07级学生吕书静和杨生玮在包头会议上展示的说课《爱护水资源》,也是在张镇老师的策划、设计、指导下师生共同完成的。作品围绕“爱护水资源”这一主题,以“水之旅”为主线,引导学生通过“水之貌、水之恙、水之声、水之法和水之爱”的调研活动展开研究性学习,最后以小组汇报展示的形式结束课程。既体现了新课改的主旨,又巧妙地激发了学生的学习热情,使学生动起来,在做中学,在活动中学。说课中,翔实的教学内容,精彩的现场演讲,辅之以精美的ppt动画和视频,赢得与会代表的一致认肯,再次获得了该项目的最高奖。
获奖是令人高兴的,然而获奖的过程却让人值得体味。2006年初,张镇老师在太原师范学院和学生一起组建“未来教师俱乐部”,同年后半年筹备“说课研究小组”。其实,这都是当时师生之间自行兴起的一些学习研究小组。既没有固定的场所,也没有专门的人员,大家都是以自己的兴趣和爱好自觉地走到一起的。2007年1月,03级学生卢永存在张老师的指导下,参加了在哈尔滨举行的“全国中学化学优质课(华北、东北区)观摩评比暨教学改革研讨会”的教学设计评比,结果获得一等奖。这件事,大大激发了同学们参与中学教学研究的积极性。同年年底,在山西省教育学会化学教育专业委员会第六届第五次年会上,即有21位同学在张老师的指导下参加了全省中学化学优秀教研论文及优秀教学设计评比并获奖。之后,在08年、09年山西省教育学会化学教育专业委员会的年会上,均有数十位同学参与优秀教学论文和教学设计的评比并获奖。所有这些参评的教学设计以及教研论文,都是经过张老师悉心指导而完成的。今年包头会议上,除上述说课获奖之外,仍有十几位同学参加优秀论文和教学设计的评审并获奖。
目前,介绍并组织在校大学生参加省以及全国有关中小学教育教学研究活动已成为“未来教师俱乐部”的一项重要工作。更为重要的是,这样的引导使高师大学生获得了中小学教育教学改革的信息,掌握了基础教育改革和发展的动态,明晰自己所学与将来所用的关系,拉近了高校与社会之间的距离。现今,“未来教师俱乐部”正准备将这方面的工作进一步引申,为学生提供更好的平台,推进高师大学生与社会、与基础教育的联系。而“说课研究小组”亦正在开发更多更优秀的说课作品,引导学生研究中小学教材,熟悉各学科课程标准,设计课堂教学,最大限度地挖掘高师大学生的潜能,提升他们的从教能力,从而发挥大学的研究优势,与中小学教师并肩为新课程改革建言献力。
突破与建构
说课,作为我国基础教育教研实践中产生的一种形式,已经走过了二十多年的发展历程。二十年来,说课始终与我国中小学教学实践紧密联系,广泛地运用于各式各样的教研活动当中,发挥着特有的功能,体现出明显的绩效和价值。随着我国基础教育改革的不断深化,说课的形式和内涵也有了质的提升和飞跃,逐步从起初经验式的运作发展到了教育教学理论范畴的研究,并在教学研究的实践环节及时得到检验、充实、优化和完善。既开拓了教研活动的形式和内涵,也有效地推进了教师教学智慧的生成及其发展。更为重要的是,说课内涵及其形式的不断开发和衍进,也为当代教育学教学论的发展开辟了新的视野。目前,说课这一独具“中国特色”的教研活动形式,正伴随着我国基础教育改革的浪潮以更加丰富多彩的形式呈现在各级各类各学科的教研活动之中。
大学生说课,从现实的教育机制和社会状况分析,很明显是弥补当前高师院校课程设置的缺陷和不足,特别是补充高师院校高年级学生进行教育见习和教育实习不到位的一种确实可行的措施。开设说课类课程,至少可以使学生在熟悉教材、解读课标的基础上,设计教学过程,研究教学的各个环节,从理性的角度真正认知中小学教育教学。鉴于在校大学生的特点,组织形式多样的说课,诸如双人说课、多人说课、小组说课、师生共同说课、研究性说课以及说课比赛,既可以提升高师大学生的从教认知水平和设计能力,也营造了良好的高师教育教学氛围,同时,对于改革高师课程体系,建构切合我国基础教育发展的新的高师课程模式具有积极地现实意义。
2007年以来,太原师范学院未来教师俱乐部开发出一系列切合中小学教育教学的公共选修课,如《说课概论》、《中学优质课观摩鉴赏及听课评课指导》、《教学的技术》等业已在全校开出。这些课程与教育系开出的《现代教育思想》、《班主任工作》以及之前由该校基础部开出的《微格教学》、《三笔字》、《新课标解读》等课程,共同构成了太原师范学院体现基础教育教学特征的选修课程体系的雏形。目前该校正在建构更为系统、全面的,联系中小学教育教学改革的课程群。通过一系列课程的改革,真正为学生的发展,为基础教育的发展闯出一条路径。除此之外,未来教师俱乐部还积极运作,广泛参与省市以及全国中小学各学科的教研活动,力求突破条条块块分割,加大高师与中小学的联系,探索“高师——中小学——教研室(教科所)”三位一体共同服务于基础教育的良性互动格局,使大学的研究优势与中小学的实践体验相结合,把高师大学生的学习与成长纳入基础教育的发展之中,从根本上推动基础教育的改革与可持续发展。
说课,作为一种简便易行的教研形式,作为教学论现代性发展的重要内容,正发挥着积极而有效的作用。大学生说课,既可以缓解现今高师大学生实习难、实习不到位的尴尬局面,也可以对当前中学教研活动的深入开展起到补充和促动作用。从某种意义上说,大学生与中学教师同台说课,是将大学的研究优势与中学的实践体验相联系的良好尝试。高师大学生说课,是提升其职业技能的有效措施,是高师课程改革的重要突破口。

Step1.Warming up
Divide the students into three or four parts and then start a competition by racing to answer my questions about American which relevant to the background information of the content.The purpose is to create a relaxing and active atmosphere and recall the students’ memory about the knowledge they have learnt before, making better preparation for the next part——reading。
Step2.Pre-reading Before reading, I will let my students make a guesstimate and point out students sharing their guess with class: “combine the title of this unit with the headline, subtitle and the picture of the passage, could you make a guess what the text want to talk about? Why? ”
We can always get some important information by reading the title of the article, quick and convenient.So it is a good approach for students to start reading.Step3.Fast reading
