为了丰富学校文化内容和广大同学的课余生活,加强英语的学习和交流,提高同学们学习英语的积极性,给广大学生提供一个展现自我,提升自我的机会和舞台,我校决定举行此次英语演讲比赛。一.活动主题 英语演讲比赛 二.活动目的

〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性,特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。

〈3〉为学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台,共同进步。〈4〉加深对英语口语的重要性的认识。

〈5〉通过举办活动,为广大英语爱好者提供一个互相交流和学习的机会。三.参赛要求

1.参赛对象:七八九年级学生

2.参赛人数:每班两人。

3.选手自选题目。要求演讲内容积极、健康、向上。4.举止大方,表现自然。有适当的肢体语言,有才艺展示。四.比赛规则

1.比赛以公平公正为原则,以丰富和活跃校园生活、促进交流与沟通为宗旨,分为预赛和决赛二个阶段,预赛在级部内部进行,由各级部自行组织实施,选出4名选手参与决赛。决赛在整个学校进行。

2.大赛分为自我介绍,演讲比赛。依据评委打分计算出成绩,最后颁发一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和参与奖。

3.比赛具体过程

第一个环节:选手简要作自我介绍,大约每人1分钟,由评委打分(20分)。

第二个环节:演讲总分50分。选手依次上台演讲,大约每人两到三分钟(考虑到七年级学生英语刚起步,不要求时间长,最主要看语音跟文章的内容。)

第三个环节:演讲结束后,由评委作总评。并依据比赛成绩宣布各参赛选手成绩。

五.具体评分细则 :(满分100分)

(一)仪表形象:(20分)

1)着装整齐,大方得体。(10分)2)姿态自然,动作适度。(10分)

(二)演讲内容:(50分)

3)主题鲜明,符合主题内容。(25分)

4)内容充实,事例动人,贴近生活,富有鲜明的时代感。(15分)5)行文流畅,用词精练,详略得当。(10分)

(三)语言艺术:(30分)6)发音标准,流利。(10分)

7)节奏处理得当,技巧运用自如。(10分)

8)表现力、应变能力强,能活跃气氛,引起高潮.(10分)

(四)评分规则:

评委明确给出每部分评分(评分为整数),去掉最高分与最低分,取平均分为选手比赛成绩,按成绩排名分别获一、二、三等奖。

1、比赛规则

(1)比赛以公平公正为原则,以丰富和活跃校园生活、促进交流与沟通为宗旨.(2)比赛采用十分制,以去掉一个最高分和一个最低分后的最后总分作为选手的成绩。

(3)比赛分小学低年级组,小学高年级组和初中组三个组进行奖励。

2、活动流程(1)主持人开场白

(2)主持人介绍比赛的规则以及评分细则。(3)选手按照抽签顺序依次上台演讲。

Friendship What is friendship? It is to relate with somebody without need for money or objective.It is to need emotion and over wealth is friendship, no matter what their background, age , sex or personality.Friendship can be pure.We hear, nowadays, however, how one can be cheated by friends.Many people get along with someone because they have a lot of money.It is doubtful that is real friendship.Having friends, one can be find happiness.If you are in trouble your friends will help you through or at least comfort you.When you are happy, they share it with you.They are also there for you to chat with at any time.It is a wonderful feeling, as the proverb says“ to love each other is easy but to make friends is hard”, So, it is crucial that we should get along with our friends.In my opinion, it is a shame to deceive your friends.The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship.My teacher Do you have a teacher? You may say “Yes.” Everyone has his teacher.You have, he has, and so do I.In my mind I'll never forget her-my first English teacher.We have many teachers in our school, some of them old and some of them young.Among these teachers, there is one whom I particularly like and respect.She is Ms.Wu, and young woman of 28.she seems to know everything and she teaches well.She is not tall, but she has two big eyes.Her voice sounds beautiful and she speaks English very well.She is very humorous, and she always teaches us in an interesting way.Sometimes she plays with us.She's very kind.She likes singing and collecting posters.She is good at playing the piano.In the evening,she always sits in front of the piano and plays nice music.She is good at dancing, too.Sometimes she teaches us dancing.She likes dogs very much because the dog is very friendly and cute.Her favorite color is blue.Because blue is the color of the sky and the sea.This is my favorite teacher.Our classmates all like her very much.Oh, I forgot to tell you that she teaches at Sijiao high School.4

A Race Once upon a time there was a hare who, boasting how he could run faster than anyone else, was forever teasing tortoise for its slowness.Then one day, the irate tortoise answered back: “Who do you think you are? There's no denying you're swift, but even you can be beaten!” The hare squealed with laughter.“Beaten in a race? By whom? Not you, surely!I bet there's nobody in the world that can win against me, I'm so speedy.Now, why don't you try?” Annoyed by such bragging, the tortoise accepted the challenge.A course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line.The hare yawned sleepily as the meek tortoise trudged slowly off.When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap.“Take your time!” he said.“I'll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute.” The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for the tortoise.But the creature was only a short distance away, having barely covered a third of the course.Breathing a sigh of relief, the hare decided he might as well have breakfast too, and off he went to munch some cabbages he had noticed in a nearby field.But the heavy meal and the hot sun made his eyelids droop.With a careless glance at the tortoise, now halfway along the course, he decided to have another snooze before flashing past the winning post.And smiling at the thought of the look on the tortoise's face when it saw the hare speed by, he fell fast asleep and was soon snoring happily.The sun started to sink, below the horizon, and the tortoise, who had been plodding towards the winning post since morning, was scarcely a yard from the finish.At that very point, the hare woke with a jolt.He could see the tortoise a speck in the distance and away he dashed.He leapt and bounded at a great rate, his tongue lolling, and gasping for breath.Just a little more and he'd be first at the finish.But the hare's last leap was just too late, for the tortoise had beaten him to the winning post.Poor hare!Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside the tortoise who was silently smiling at him.“Slowly does it every time!” he said.Innovative Thinking Have you ever thought that what is Innovative Thinking? Somebody will said,“ thinking something different!” In fact, it‟s not so simple.Have you ever thought how to think something different? Now , let me explain it to you in detail!

First, we should admit that Innovative ideas do start in one mind before taking on the world.Only in this way, we have the power of Innovation.For example, the radio, television, telephone and so on, all were developed by scientists.And these scientists all had the ability and courage to think something different.It is a well know fact that Albert Einstein was the mastermind of the nuclear bombs.Second, we should be good at discovering and be able to break the conventions.Sometimes, there are a lot of subjects of Innovation around us.But more often we lack the ability of discovering.So, only if we be good at discovering and summing up, we can innovate.Finally, I want to say, as a middle school student in the new century, we must have the courage and confidence to make innovations.And we should study hard for development of our country!Because we are the builders of our motherland!

Honorable teachers, ladies and gentlemen, and my fellow students, according to what I have said above, have you learnt more about the “Innovative Thinking” ? Of course, you have!I believe my speech is perfect!And I also believe that as long as we expand our thinking, we will find something different.That‟s all!Thank you for your listening!

Health We care about ourselves more and more.We eat what's right and we exercise.We absolutely embrace health.However, it is not only our health that we should embrace, though many of us do not realize that.Many of us do not realize that the earth we live on is a fragile being that needs to be protected like a new born child.We probably haven't even noticed, that with each stride the civilization takes toward the ultimate development, more burdens are added to the earth that provides us with essentials to live.The decrease in air quality, the climate change, medical waste, noise and water pollution, and even food poisoning has added to the list of growing concerns to our living environment.Human are not supernatural beings, thus these problems have affected pretty much every matter.We upgrade gadgets and make full use of newer technologies, but we pay for the consequences in turn.For instance, the advent of batteries and machinery has caused million tons of water become toxic and undrinkable, further aggravating the already serious condition of water shortage and poisoning in several countries.The over-production and over-use of transportation vehicles and electricity has contributed to the Global Warming and caused myriads of species to disappear from the face of the earth due to home-loss and temperature change.We have brought wonders to the world, but have also destroyed miracles of nature.We are concerned about our nutritional intake and exercise all the time, so why shouldn't we care about the conditions of our living planet as well?

Time is ticking on.We shouldn't put off the whole “save the environment” affair any longer.Please, do what feels right in our hearts, even though it is only a tiny matter.Save up resources, promote the recycling and reusing of products, and always remember to take some time off going into the woods and breathe in the sweetness in the air.We have come from the woods, thus we would all have a secret desire in our hearts to harmonize with nature again.Remember, every little thing matters.My father

I think my Dad was a hero for me when I was a young child.We'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.Every child has a good and great father, and so do I.My dad played a very important role in my daily life exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.My father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.My family was rather poor when I was in my childhood.We didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father's factory.The room was so small that there was little space for people to walk.I didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents.This is terrible both for my parents and me.But father made this all different!He works very hard on his own business, now we have our own houses, surly, I have my own room and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.When I was little, I did everything with my dad.You could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him.Every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.I learnt a lot from my daddy.I learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.Like many other fathers, my dad and I also has generation gap.He is not good at or even can‟t work the computer.So when I sitting at the computer desk, he will say something like „you should pay more attention to your study‟, „don‟t waste time on the computer games‟, „it will be bad for your eyes‟ and so on.How can I a computer fan reduce time on computer? So I continue studying and playing on it.Years pasted, my father is over 45 now.It is time for me to look after him and I am sure I will do and we will live an even better life.and I will say, I really love you dad, because you are the hero in my mind.Thank you so much!8

新华中学09-10学年英语演讲比赛总结

为了激发广大同学学习英语的热情,提高同学对英语口语的兴趣,营造我校“说英语、爱英语”的学习氛围,为更多的同学提供一个尽情挥洒创意,展现英语风采的舞台,我校在得到学校领导、老师和同学的支持下,于本月举行了英语演讲比赛,此次比赛学生参加的积极性很高,报名人数多,比赛设有初赛,和决赛两个阶段。

比赛初期,首先在各个班级进行初赛,任课教师认真把关,确定部分预赛名单,然后全校学生中进行决赛。现将具体情况总结如下:

12月25日下午2时,决赛正式开始,刘丽校长发表了热情洋溢的讲话,她首先对参与的教师和学生表示感谢,对他们辛勤的付出给予肯定。同时,对这次演讲比赛寄予厚望,相信每一位选手都能“八仙过海各显神通”,以此推动我校英语教学再上一个新台阶。接下来,主持人致欢迎辞,介绍各位嘉宾和评委,介绍比赛规则,要求参赛选手自选话题,体裁不限,比赛时间三分钟,为了能使比赛更加“公平、公正”,选手出场顺序按抽号顺序进行。

在大家热烈的掌声中,九年级一班的秦景博 同学信心百倍的走上讲台,她首先用英语向大家为好,并礼貌的鞠躬致谢,然后便开始了自己的演讲,他流利的演讲,丰富的手势,激情的投入,赢得了大家热烈的掌声,直到他走下台时,各位评委老师还在相互点头表示称赞。九年级三班的李艳玲同学不但口语流利,语言丰富,表情运用得更是恰如其分,她在演讲中完全把自己融入到其中,让听众也自然地走进了他的演讲中。八年级四班的郑东晓同学大胆自信,语言流畅,发音准确,用动情的演讲把听众带进了她的故事里,让人回味无穷。比赛在有序的进行,每一位同学都发挥得淋漓尽致,不由得让评委和老师们对同学们表现刮目相看。教研组的陈老师对他们几个的出色表现更是赞叹不已,禁不住的说“我校真是藏龙卧虎,人才辈出啊”。

通过现场打分,评出一等奖2人,二等奖4人,三等奖6人,鼓励奖18人,评委老师热情的和同学们颁奖交流,并祝他们在以后的学习中再接再厉,再创佳绩。颁奖仪式结束后后,英语组的陈老师针对此次演讲作了全面总结,她首先对此次的比赛过程和结果给予充分肯定,然后对每一位选手的成功之处与不足之处作了详细的点评。同时针对英语演讲提出了自己的建议,希望大家在演讲时要根据不同题材的文章选取不同的演讲风格,因为演讲毕竟不同于背诵,它需要各种表情、肢体的配合以及感情的自然流露,因此,在以后的教学中要注重这方面的训练和培养。

本次英语演讲赛圆满结束,主要得益于事先周密的安排,各班级之间的齐心协力,同学们的积极参与以及学校领导,英语教师的大力关心和支持,这是一次成功的比赛,是一次圆满的比赛!不仅让同学们从中学到了确实有用的东西,而且也为我校营造学习英语的良好氛围出了一份力,使我校呈现出更高的学习英语的浪潮。它对我们学生会以后怎么样开展活动,开展什么样的活动有着重大的指导意义,为我们今后的工作打下了坚实的基础!通过这次英语演讲比赛,使学生认识到学习英语的重要性和学习英语的关键性。

生在校的课余生活。同时,我也从这次英语演讲比赛中发现了我校学生学习英语所存在的一些问题。如:学生的英语底子薄弱;学生学习英语的积极性不够高。有些学生的胆量不够大,上台有些胆怯等。我们决心在以后的英语教学中大胆改革,积极创新,以此推动英语学科的教学再上新台阶。
