为了切实做好政治学院2012年下学期学风建设月活动的各项工作，进一步强化政治大类系学生的教育和管理，规范学生日常行为，加强教学管理，推进教学管理和学生管理的制度化、规范化、人性化建设。经我系教务办、学工办与学习部一致研究决定，特开展系列学风建设活动之一------记单词比赛。此次活动诣在充分调动广大政治大类系学生学习英语的积极性，增强学生备战英语四级的学习意识，促进学生各科成绩均衡发展与综合素质的全面提高，从而产生广大而深远的积极影响，形成工程系早自习的优良早读氛围，以实际行动密切配合学院的工作，积极将本次在我系深入组织开展学风建设活动落实到位。

三、参赛选手要求

1、政治类系学生，性别年龄不限，；

2、参赛选手围绕“我爱记单词”的主题，以国家非英语专业四级词汇大纲为复习资料，认真准备；

四、活动时间及场地安排

1、第9-10周由班学习委员在班上广泛宣传动员；

2、以班级为单位组织报名参加，并举行初赛

3、活动举办地点：教学楼S30

1、记单词比赛采用闭卷考试形式开展，3、记单词分为英译汉（第一部分）、汉译英（第二部分）两大模块。

高考英语词汇强化 通过英文句子记单词

背单词是十分枯燥的，大部分人都机械的死记硬背，不仅浪费大量的时间精力，而且记忆效果也不理想。因为我们根本没能真正去理解单词。单词的记忆，最佳的方式还是通过短语句子来记忆，这样可以加深我们对词汇的理解与熟悉程度，更有效的记忆。

下面的40篇英语短文就是为了让高二同学更高效的看单词，记单词。这些文章中，恰好就包含了3500个单词。从现在起，每天阅读并背诵，早晚各一遍。到高考那一天，不仅语法、词汇不在话下，就连英语写作你也拥有一批精彩的素材。

在背的过程中不要为了记忆而记忆，在做题或者阅读文章的时候，观察其中是否有你记过的单词和句子，不断扩大你对英语单词使用范畴的认识。

谁都知道学英语最重要的就是单词量，单词记不住，听说读写都是浮云。连“砖”都没几块，怎么盖起英语的高楼大厦？

可很多学生最头疼的就是不管怎么背，这单词就是老忘。经常是“它认识我，我不认识它”。

很多学生很苦恼，为什么人家花10分钟能记住，我却要花1小时？为什么自己早起晚睡，起早贪黑，成绩反而不如他们？为什么他们背单词很轻松，而自己加倍努力还追不上？

关键是---方法上出问题了。

我们大家都知道，做任何事情都要讲究方法，一个好的方法可以使人事半功倍，而差的方法只能让人白费力气。记忆英语单词也不例外。

然而可惜的是，很多学生“死记硬背”的记忆模式背单词，白白花了很多时间，背得头昏脑胀却仍然效果不佳。
