英语口语竞赛通知

为促进和提高全院学生的英语口语水平,营造良好学习氛围,活跃校园文化生活,发现优秀的英语后备人才,迎接全国高职高专实用英语口语大赛选拔人才。特举办温职院英语口语大赛,有关事宜通知如下:

一、参赛对象

面向我院全体2013年入校的新生, 大赛分为专业组(商务英语专业)和非专业组。

二、报名时间

2013年10月30日—11月6日

三、报名方式

参赛学生到本班班长处报名,各班长于2013年11月6日前

将报名表(项目名称+系别+班级命名)发至电子邮件: rwxsxk@163.com.报名表请在学院教务科研网下载。

四、比赛时间

初赛时间:2013年11月13日下午(场地另行通知)

决赛时间:2013年12月4日下午(场地另行通知)

注:比赛时间如有变更会以发送手机短信的方式告知,报名表上请仔细填写本人手机长号

五、比赛方式

初赛以现场命题演讲,时间为2分钟;决赛参照省高职高专口语大赛流程分第一场(“现场描述”、“情景交流”两部分)和第二场(“PK辩论”)组成。每位选手抽签参加第一场的比赛,依据总分排出名次,非专业组他专业组将各取前12名选手进入到决赛。最终将决出8名选手,作为明年推荐参加省高职高专英语口语大赛的候选人。

英语口语竞赛方案

一、竞赛目的:

为了进一步推进我校英语教学的发展,调动学生学习英语的积极性,提高学生“听”、“说”的技能,全面展示我校学生英语口语的表达能力,提高全体学生的学习兴趣及综合运用能力,培养学生良好的听说习惯,给学生提供锻炼自我、展示自我的舞台。特向学校领导班子申请举行一次学生英语口语比赛。

二、参加对象:

七至八年级学生(每班限2人)。

三、时间比赛:2012年6月6日。

四、比赛地点:多媒体教室

五、比赛形式

1、朗读短文。

2、回答对方问题。

3、看图说话。

(现场抽题,屏幕给出演讲题目及相关的文本信息,选手须根据给定题目及相关信息完成演讲。)

准备时间:40秒

演讲时间:90秒

2、给获奖学生的辅导教师颁发“优秀辅导教师”称号的荣誉证书。

英语口语竞赛活动总结

为了提高学生的英语口语表达能力,展示学生的良好素质,提高学生学习英语的积极性,我校于2012年6月6日下午,开展了学生英语口语比赛。

接到通知后,各个班级积极准备、踊跃报名。经过认真筛选后,共26名学生参加了此次比赛。在比赛中,选手们发挥出色,表情生动,动作合理。比赛的过程是紧张并快乐着的。本次比赛为学生学习英语、交流口语创设了良好氛围,不仅考查了学生们的英语口语表达水平,提高了学生们学习英语的积极性,而且很好的促进了我校英语教学水平的提高!

比赛结束后,每位英语教师对自己平时的课堂教学也有了更多的反思。英语教学应更多注重学生的兴趣培养,课堂上适当渗透文化知识,如中西方节日的对比、生活习惯的对比、社会现状对比等等,使学生在学习该语言的同时,也对该语言国家有简单的了解。此外,在课堂上也让学生充分发挥自己的才能,添加歌唱、舞蹈、表演、竞赛等活动,让学生在学习语言的过程,又能在各项才艺展示中获得自信、激发兴趣。

希望本次活动能够让我们英语教师和每个学生留下美好的回忆,喊响我校学习英语的口号,“Ibelieve I can.”
