1．根据听众对象，注意演讲的总体措词

从大的方面看，英语演讲词实际上是属于一种特殊的说明文或议论文，其基本组成部分是：

最常用的是 ladies and gentlemen，也可根据不同情况，选用 fellow students, distinguished guests, mr chairman, honorable judges(评委)等等。2)提出论题

由于演讲的时间限制，必须开门见山，提出论题。提出论题的方法有各种各样，但最生动，最能引起注意的是用举例法。比如：你要呼吁大家关心贫穷地区的孩子，你可以用亲眼看到的或者收集到的那些贫穷孩子多么需要帮助的实例开始。另外，用具体的统计数据也是一个有效的引出论题的方法，比如：你要谈遵守交通规则的话题，你可以从举一系列有关车辆、车祸等的数据开始。3)论证

英语是一种国际通用语，不懂英语，在信息交流方面会受到很大的限制。同时研究还表明，学外语会促进智力的发展。美国耶鲁大学的一位心理学家通过分析研究认为，讲两种语言的幼少儿比仅会讲一种语言的幼少儿，在脑子的灵活性和解决问题的能力方面均有优势。语言刺激是促进大脑细胞生长发展的要素。幼少儿期是语言发展的关键期，在这个时期对幼少儿给予两种语言的刺

激，能促进幼儿大脑两半球之间的协调，加强神经细胞之间的联系。因此，幼少儿期的英语训练对孩子是大有益处的。那么，什么时候学英语最好呢？不少专家认为6岁以前是获得外语的最佳期。

儿童心理学的研究表明，在幼少儿知觉发展中，首先成熟的是形象思维能力。幼少儿认汉字也好，认英文也好，实际上都是一种信息刺激的活动，他们把字形当成某一具体形像，像记糖果、玩具、人的相貌一样记住它们。经过多次反复，这种特殊的“形象”就储存到大脑中去了。因此幼少儿学外语与成人学外语有很大差别。同时，幼少儿对声音的敏感度较高，且右脑控制发音器官的能力较强，声带、舌唇等运动神经的调节也具有很大的可塑性，这时练习说话，更容易掌握发音的技巧。随着年龄的增长，这种能力会逐步下降，给学外语带来困难。要使幼儿的英语学习取得成效，关键是要有正确的教学方法。在幼少儿英语学习

勉强接受，强迫自己学习，这样的结果是极大的削弱自身的创造性。有些人心理承受能力不强的人会选择自暴自弃，其结果是荒废大学四年。还有一些人会毅然选择转专业。转专业不仅需要承受巨大的心理压力，还得花比别人多许多的时间和精力，需要付出一定的代价。同一行业中不同职业之间的转换也是一样的道理。有些人觉悟的更晚，他们选择在读完大学后不在与自己专业相关的行业就业，这需要更大的勇气和实力。

我们辩证的看，并不是说不能转专业，转职业，更不是说转了之后就肯定没有别人好，多少成功人士的例子已经足以证明了。如果你付出足够多的努力，还是有机会超过别人的。不过一开始找准方向，做事情会事半功倍，否则难免走弯路。所谓良好的开始是成功的一半。但是走过弯路的人自比那些没有走过的人多一份独特的收获，因为那只是一半而已。

影响专业选择的因素

个人兴趣爱好。很多人不知道自己的兴趣爱好是什么。

能力特长。不可否认，很多人都有各自的特长，但是特长与兴趣爱好是否一致，那就另当别论了。若一致，那就皆大欢喜；若不一致，比如说，某学生钢琴很厉害，但是这是她父母逼她学的，那她选择专业的时候到底是考虑自己真正的兴趣还是抱着原来的特长不放呢？

家庭环境。比如有些同学家人有做律师的传统，那他会不会因为考虑家人的感受而考虑学法律呢？比如有些同学家境不宽裕，那她会不会因此而回避一些学费高昂的专业呢？
