感叹句表示说话人的喜悦、气愤、惊讶等强烈的情绪。一般都由What或How引导。1.由what引导,常有以下三类:

(1)What +a(an)+(形容词)+单数可数名词+主语+谓语+„

一、陈述句变为感叹句(句型转换)

“一断”就是找到陈述句的主谓成分后,将该陈述句在谓语动词后面断开。eg:1.SHE is / a famous band.2.Jack Chen is / very famous.3.She dances /so well “二加”即在断开处加感叹词what或how(若断开后的后半部分中心词是名词,则用what;若断开后的后半部分中心词是形容词或副词,则用how,注意:当断开后的后半部分中心词是形容词或副词时,要把修饰形容词或副词的词(常见的有very,too,quite,rather,so)去掉,再加how eg: 1.SHE is / what a famous band.2.Jack Chen is /how famous.3.She dances /how wel “三换位”即把前两步所得到的两部分交换位置。

eg: 1.what a famous band SHE is.2.how famous Jack Chen is.3.how wel She dances.“四改变”改变需要变的大小写字母,如句首字母,还要改变句末符号“!” eg: 1.What a famous band she is!2.How famous Jack Chen is!3.How welshe dances!二.选择感叹词完成感叹句(单项填空)

选择感叹词完成感叹句(单项填空),即选择what或how,确定用what还是how就要弄清楚感叹句所强调的词。完整的感叹句中所强调的词在主语之前,如果感叹句的主语和谓语动词都被省略,则该句最后一个词就是所强调的词。所强调的词是名词时要选what,如果是单数可数名词,应在感叹词what与名词间加冠词a或an,如果是可数名词复数或不可数名词,应使用what且不加任何冠词,如果词性为形容词或副词,就选how。

根本区别在于两者强调的成分不同

在what引导的感叹句中,它是作为定语使用的,也就是说它修饰的是名词。而在how引导的感叹句中,它相当于是状语,用来修饰副词或形容词。给你一个句子:The girl is beautiful.要把它改为感叹句,有两种方法。

如果要强调感叹的对象的话,要用what引导:What a beautiful girl she is!如果要强调她有多漂亮的话,就要用how引导:How beautiful the girl is!这里,你可以将what或how引导的感叹句分解成两部分来理解,分别是 what a beautiful girl 和 she is(how beautiful 和 the girl is)这样就很好理解了。

所以说要区分一个感叹句是要用how还是用what,关键就在于它修饰的是什么成分的词,但不是说后面接的是名词就是修饰名词,就要用what。仔细看上面的例子你会看到,how后面也有接名词,但how并不是修饰这个名词的。为什么呢?还是按照上面的分解方法,你要先把一个感叹句分成两部分。因为从句子的结构分析,感叹句后面一般有跟主语+谓语。what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is).How+adj.(adv.)+主语+谓语+(it is).如果有主语和谓语的话,可以把后面这部分忽略掉,然后看看句子中还剩什么词性的词,如果是形容词或副词,那就要用how引导,如果剩下形容词+名词,那就要用what引导

2、what+形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语!例如:

二、how引导的感叹句也有三种结构形式。此时how是副词,用来修饰其后的形容词或副词,也可以修饰动词。

3、How+主语+谓语!例如:

在平时做练习时,我们常会碰到陈述句改为感叹句的句型转换题,不少同学对此感到棘手,这里介绍一种行之有效的方法:“一断,二加,三换位,四去very”。现以She is a very clever girl.为例。
