敬爱的联合国秘书长潘基文爷爷：
来了您好！
我是洪山松龄小学四年级二班的一名在校学生，我的名字叫宋德正。我今天冒昧的给您写信，希望您能理解。我非常讨厌吸烟，因为我的外公就是常年大量吸烟，患了肺癌而病故的。他一生非常勤劳、和蔼可亲，却死于肺癌，而他患的肺癌又于吸烟密不可分。我外公是个国营农场的工人，我妈妈不到一岁就被打针打聋了耳朵，外公整天愁眉不展，唯一的嗜好就是吸烟排解烦恼，整天咳痰才50几岁就离开了人间。向其他因吸烟而短命，我至今仍非常痛惜，多么好的一个人啊！就是因为吸烟害了他啊！
看看爷爷您好！我知道您是联合国的秘书长，请您在联合国大会上，倡议各国禁止种植烟草，禁止吸烟。让我们的世界充满欢乐，到处都是绿色环保的生存环境，让人们远离毒品、远离香烟，远离癌症。还人们一个没有毒品、没有烟草的地球。也许我说的有些幼稚，但这确实是我的心里话。我想您作为联合国的秘书长应该能管管这件事。
善事爷爷，我相信您也是一个不吸烟不吸毒的人，不希望人们沾染上吸烟、吸毒的毒瘾。不希望我们人类居住的地球烟雾漫漫，人人都病魔缠身吧！那您就下个命令禁烟吧！我不希望我外公的悲剧重复发生。

给联合国秘书长潘基文的一封信
尊敬的潘基文先生：
您好！
时代在发展，社会在进步。世界正处于日新月异的变化当中。
1971年10月25日，这是一个值得纪念和欢庆的日子，中华人民共和国国旗首次飘扬在联合国总部大楼前,中国恢复在联合国的合法席位。这是基于我国致力于维护世界与周边的和平环境及我国社会主义现代化建设的成就。
中国作为联合国的创始国和安理会常任理事国之一，一贯遵循联合国维护国际和平与安全，促进国际合作与发展的宗旨，对世界的和平与发展做出了重要贡献。
当今世界，中国是发展最快、变化最大的国家之一，中国的发展离不开世界，世界的发展也离不开中国。一个和平、合作、负责任的中国形象已经展现在国际社会面前。中国拥有日益发展的经济力量，综合国力位居世界前列，国际地位显著提高，在维护世界和平、促进发展方面发挥着重要的作用。
和平与发展是当今时代的主题，我国改革开放的领导者邓小平指出，现在世界上真正大的问题，一个是和平问题，一个是经济问题或者说发展问题。为了和平与发展，我国反对霸权主义和强权政治，主张改变旧的国际秩序，建立以和平共处五项原则为基础的有利于世界和平与发展的国际新秩序。
但是，世界仍然有一些区域性、小规模的冲突。例如：1999年，以美国为首的北约趁南联盟内部发生科索沃危机，打着“人权高于主权”的旗号，向南联盟发动了长达78天的狂轰烂炸。这是北约在没有联合国安理会授权的情况下对南斯拉夫动武。另外，国际恐怖主义也对世界和平和地区安全造成了严重威胁。
中国作为最大的发展中国家，致力于推动建立公正合理的国际政治新秩序，反对霸权主义，维护世界和平。
