要对英语多投入点兴趣，有句话说是21世纪英语学不好就是文盲，可见英语的重要性。
1.学好英语要把单词，词组，固定搭配记得滚瓜烂熟！因为考试的时候是没有时间再回忆单词的意思的！如果英语单词都记不好，英．．．．．．．．．．．．语学习就无从谈起！．．．．．．．．．
2.早晨的时候一定要动嘴去读课文，这样才能学到语言的实质，才能体会英语句子的整体性，只有这样才能培养好语感，把英语真正学通。切记！
3.语法上的东西要记清楚，通过练习题不断掌握。
4.平时的知识点，还有做题出现的错误要总结到笔记本上，多想想为什么错了，记住，以后不再错了！一定要总结，这样到高三的时候才有你真正自己的东西去复习。
5.掌握好了以上这些，剩下的就是做题能力的转化问题了，这个要靠自己去不断地磨练，在做题后不断地反省。掌握其中的一些属于自己的方法，比如如何分配做题时间，如何提高自己的速度，如何将自己的卷子答得用完美，然后运用这些方法达到灵活自如。

一、指导思想
以学生的发展为本，以新课程理念为核心，以教师专业成长与发展为目标，以理论学习为支撑，以课堂教学为载体，引领教师认真钻研教材，研究教学理论，确立教学思想，形成教学特色，力争使每位教师在原有的教学基础上能更上一个台阶，认真开展英语教研活动，努力提高我校的英语教学质量。
二、现状分析
（一）英语组的组成。目前，我们英语教研组90%以上的教师具有本科以上学历。人员结构相对年轻，因此教学上有冲劲，对新的教学理念接受较快。工作认真踏实，团结协作；老教师能起好传帮带作用；教科研气氛较浓；组员爱岗敬业，不怕苦。
（二）存在的问题：
教师方面：教师的理论水准有待提高；课程资源积累不够；挖掘课程的能力有待于提高；对学困生的指导不够；教研组制度建设不够完善；教学方式和策略还不活；青年教师占据多半以上，许多青年教师的教学潜能尚未进一步得以激发；教师对自身教学行为反思的能力还不强，教学上实质性的提高不明显。
学生方面：学生英语基础差，因家庭原因，学生的学习习惯很不理想。因考试制度等原因，一直以来，部分学生的英语成绩很糟糕，渐渐地失去学习兴趣，缺乏学习动力，两极分化严重。
三、重点工作
（一）加强教育理论学习，提高教师业务水平。每位教师要认真学习、深刻领悟《英语新课标》和有关教育的各类书籍新理念，充分利用学校的网络资源，参与网上自主学习和互动交流，建立全新的教学观念，灵活的课程体系，多元、开放的课程评价标准，努力用这些新观念、新思路来指导平时的课堂教学，定期在网上交流论文及课后反思或心得体会、说课稿、课件等以提高课堂教学效率。
（二）搞好教研活动，提升教研质量。规范备课组的活动，提升集体备课质量，做到周周活动，每次有详细的记录，备课组的活动应在统一教学进度前提下,充分研讨教学的重点、难点，教学策略的选择等方面下功夫，在集体研讨的前提下，每位教师应根据自身的教学风格，学生的现状特点扎实备课。这样，既发挥了集体的智慧，又体现了每位教师的教学个性，加强了课堂教学研究。同时应加强常态性听课，抓好备课、作业布置、测试、讲评等关键环节，及时发现问题并协商解决。
（三）关注青年教师的成长，使其迅速成为学校的中坚力量。应大力加强青年教师的队伍建设。教龄在三年以下的青年教师要上好“上路课、汇报课”，新上年级的老师也要上好汇报课，并积极鼓励青年教师参加各种教学竞赛活动，努力提高青年教师的学科专业素养。
（四）要逐步形成专家教师队伍。中、高级职称的老师要做好对青年教师的培养工作，从备课到上课积极指导；本组教师应随堂听课，听取反馈意见，不断发现教学中存在的问题，并组织全体组员认真进行反思式的讨论、研究，探索可操作的新课程标准下的课堂教学组织模式。
（五）完善备课笔记的规范和检查工作。各位老师记好学习笔记做好知识的积累。各备课组认真完成电子教案撰写与整理工作。高
一、高二年级教师本学年争取完成所教年级课程的电子教案撰写与整理工作，尽可能完成必修部分课件的制作。并上传共享于校园网。高三年级完成2013年高考试题的分类整理以及高三复习课型探究任务。
（六）加强教学质量监控，抓好单元过关检测。分析学生错误原因，寻找教学的薄弱环节，调整自己的教学思路和教学方法。要将教学质量追求分解到每一课每一单元的评价上，做到堂堂清、日日清、周周清，减少或消除错误积累。
（七）抓好毕业班教学工作。高三教师要进一步深入学习《考纲》和《考试说明》，认真研究高考，真正吃透考试改革的精神实质，从而有重点、有针对性地做好毕业班的教学和复习工作，开展有针对性的教学复习研讨，及时发现问题，调整策略。
四、具体措施
（一）教师队伍建设：青年教师力争一年“上路”，三年“合格”，六年“成名”，青年教师每学期开设公开课；积极参加各级各类教学评比活动，开展教学基本功大赛；鼓励青年教师及时撰写教学案例及教学反思，每人每年争取一篇论文得奖。骨干教师队伍迅速壮大，学生英语素质有较大幅度的提高，课堂教学效率不断提升。
（二）教学资源建设：注重集体备课材料的收集整理；督促教师练习测试卷的归类、存档，建立本校英语试题库；做好课件及案例、阅读材料的收编；鼓励教师制作优秀的课件，并在年级组或全校积极尝试，录制成教学光盘向省市级推荐；注重英语教研组网络的建设与开发和学生作品的收集。英语网络的建设与开发。
（三）课程建设方面：立足课堂，研究课堂有效教学模式；采用情景教学，精心设计教学环节；整合教材，开发校本资源，拓展课外英语学习资源，教学艺术、教学智慧不断提升，开设研究示范课。
（四）教师实施课程的能力：加强理论学习，掌握调控课堂教学的能力；增强独立命制各年级综合测试题的能力与重组教材的能力。
（五）教研组制度建设：规范集体备课制度，定时间、定内容、定中心发言人，并加强教学重点、难点、教学策略的研讨；加强随堂听课制度，青年教师每周听课不少于两节，中高级教师每周听课一节主要指导青年教师教学工作；落实教学常规制度。
（六）对外交流方面：通过兄弟学校专家教师的引领，加强对外交流，掌握英语教学动态，通过各种渠道加强与兄弟学校的交流与合作；把对外学习交流作为提高英语教师素质、搞好学科建设的重要一环。
（七）学科组文化建设方面：布置校园英语环境；举办各项英语竞赛活动，如：书法大赛、词汇竞赛、课本剧比赛、演讲比赛；充分利用青年教师口语优势，设立校园英语角。
