我在新财富应用英语学习的有趣经历
工作后发现英语真得很重要,特别是在宁波这样一个外贸城市里,英语就显得更重要了。这其间我看了几家英语学校,虽然都有各自己的特点,但应试的比较多,很像学校里本本主义,感觉学习下来也没有什么大进展。一断时间有点想放弃的感觉。觉得自己再怎么学习也就这个样子,中国式的英语。老外听不懂。后来加了一个英语群,想找个搭档能互促学习,当时无意看到了新财富应用英语的一些介绍,说是留学老师往技能上学习的。一看学校离自己公司挺近的,就去试试看。老师进行介绍了些学校及英语教学思路。当自己被英语测评时没到了DO,BE的单词,还以为很简单。却对真正用法是一头雾水。因为这二个单词是千变万化的。结果才明白过来原来自己只会死记,死学,这些年来才进步缓慢,因为根本不知道怎么去举一反三。脑子很模糊,思路很不清晰。所以我要下决心给自己赌一把,觉得一定要把英语学好。
这里有几项是主打课程,自己也非常需要。一个是视听说技能课,一个是外贸视听说。自己听说能力不怎么好,所以经过老师的介绍就先选择了视听说这个课程。当时学校里的老师也很好,特别是JAMES和任老师,他们给了些重要的见意。我先听了视听说。说心里话学校的课程安排得真得很合理,每个技能课都有像预科班一样的前期训练,这样对英语词汇及更高级别学习打基础。前期基础训练真得很有效果,把多年学校里丢了的基本知识又拾回来点了。基础课完成后就是主打课,视听说技能课,这个课程让自己的思维有点变化,因为是JAME的课我不敢去缺课,原因是他的课讲得太精彩的了,他能把自己最简单最精避的方法来改变我的迷惘的思维。每次上完JAMES的课都总有成就感,因为他的课叫我们怎么去开口,怎么开对口。还有听力方面加强泛听与精听结合的方法,让我们一步步去掌握关键性应用能力,这对于我来说真得是大挑战。JAMES把我的错误口音给纠正过来了,心里美滋滋的。几个月下来,别的一起学习的学员说我英语长进了,哈,我说我没觉得呢。可能是不知不觉中改变ING。
后来转到外贸视听说班级去了,觉得自己真得是来对地方了,外贸视听说真不愧是实战性的课。每回2个半小时的外贸情景对话练习,觉得很充实,脑子思维时时跟着走,时间就在不知不觉中过去。。。TERESA经常训练我们听说能力并结合现实外贸中的一些知识,让我一个门外汉也懂得怎么方式去与外客打交道,如:不能用简单的YES OR NO来回答,太不礼貌了。要cover our own back。每节课最让我开心的是可以摸拟现实中的不同角色直接练习。像SALER,BUYER等以不同部门不同角色的进行练习,训练外贸中和国外客户常常用到的产品、质量、包装、支付方式、以及装运索赔等等。等我们基本功都差不多时,还会有老外过来直接进行更深一层次的模拟场景操练。这样一个阶段下来后,英语有了质的飞跃,现在工作中运已经能自如的用英语处理问题了。这就是我在新财富应用英语学英语的努力。再次感谢找到适合自己的学校,希望对大家有所帮助。

教师英语应用技能培训学习心得-学习总结
21世纪是知识较量的时代,是智力赛跑的时代,更是全球竞争的时代。面对知识经济的挑战,学好英语是每一位跨世纪人才拿到通往新时代护照的必经之路。我们及时把握了这一时代的脉搏,充分认识到英语水平的高低关系到能否培养21世纪所需要的高素质人才的大事。身为一名特殊教育教师,虽然在教育教学中应用英语的机会甚少,但是作为教师综合素质提高的必修科目,我还是有信心将英语这门技能学好的。
作为第一批教师英语应用技能培训学员,我感到了自身责任的重大,同时我也感到了前所未有的压力,因为参加这次培训的50名学员中,只有我一个人不是英语教师,我本人系统学习英语的经历也就是初中的那三年。虽然参加工作后,学习中文本科时,英语作为必修科目参加了考试,可我是用了三年时间,考了3次才勉强过了关,从我本人来说,我一直想把英语学好,但因为考的时间太长,次数太多,我对英语学习存在着一定的心理压力。
在教师英语应用技能培训班上,我认真倾听了教研员佟老师的讲课,她深入浅出地为我们介绍了此次英语技能培训的背景和意义及英语培训尊循的原则,为参加培训的教师指明了努力的方向。经过了细致地讲解后,佟老师又让学员们提出疑难问题,但大家觉得对音标部分还有困惑时,佟老师就不厌其烦地为我们做深入具体的讲解,使我获益匪浅。
课下,我又向教英语的同学求助,让她们传授我学习英语的方法和技巧。她们认为要想把英语学习好:
一、要多看。多看一些英语教材,培养语感,语感培养起来了,就能更加轻松地学习英语和教英语。
二、要多说。学习英语要有说的机会,要创设一个真实的情境。要在真实的环境自发地说,不断地提高英语交谈能力。
三、要多记。多记英语单词、词组和表达方法,为提高自己的词汇量,更好的阅读英语文章做准备。
四、要模仿。英语不能只靠记单词,更要学会模仿。模仿语音、语调,能使你更好地记住这个句式,而且把握好语音、语调,也能让你说出的英语更地道,不显得那么生硬。
五、要多听。多听才能做到多模仿,既然我们没有好的语言环境,就要多听英语磁带。
六、多问。多提几个“为什么”也是学习英语的要点之一,当你在英语上有什么不懂的问题时,一定要学会问。两个同等英语水平的人,总爱问问题的人就会比另一不爱问的人学习效果好。所以学习英语要多问。
七、多复习。温故而知新,英语也是一样,学过的单词或句式如果长时间内不复习就自然会忘掉。
另外,学习英语要有一个环境。在我国,外语的学习环境缺少输入量和大量接触、使用的机会。所以要利用教师的能动性和创造力创设良好的学习环境。针对教研员老师的辅导和同学的建议,我要在英语学习中努力做到:
1、要树立学好英语的信心。没有恒心,三天打鱼两天晒网,不能长期坚持学习,是不能学好英语这门技能的。要做好学习英语的过程中会遇到各种困难,但不能向困难低头,要坚持不懈地反复学习,持之以恒的学习信心。
2、要不断总结英语学习的方法和技巧。好的学习方法是成功的必然保证。
只有在实践中不断学习、发现和总结学习技巧,才能有效地提高英语学习水平。
3、要做到学而治用。语言的实践性很强,如果只学而不用,就永远也学不好。我们学语言的目的就是为了应用,所以要学会在用中学习,这样才能提高兴趣,达到好的学习效果。
以上内容是我在此次培训中的一点体会,希望能够和大家共勉。
