【论文摘要】营销学里有这样的观点：专营一种商品的利润比多种经营高。抛开理论推导不谈，仅从直观经验来看这个说法是成立的。比如你去淘宝购物，遇到一家既卖书又卖服装又卖电器又卖音像制品又卖儿童食品的铺面，你很可能忙不迭地就走开了，转而寻找一家更精专些的店铺。美剧作为依靠收视率赚取利润的产品，在市场定位上是完全符合营销学的理论。比如《欲望都市》是拍给女性观众看的，《橘子郡男孩》是面向青少年的，《太空堡垒卡拉迪加》是吸引科幻控的，《24小时》是投荷尔蒙较重的男性观众所好的。犯罪剧没有特定的受众，因为人们普遍好这一口，所以像《CSI》这样质量很一般的剧集才会如此长寿。但是为了具备一定特色，产品在高端化的程度上又被进一步分化了，比如《铁证悬案》打的是怀旧牌，《CSI》侧重分析证据，《拾骨寻踪》则将焦点锁在骨头上„„而《生活大爆炸》就开创了一种新型的“营销”模式。

《生活大爆炸》的观众群并非想象中的高精物理人才，因为这些人在观众中的比重太小了，将受众锁定在他们身上注定是没有商业前景的。实际上，它和《六人行》一样也是面向喜剧爱好者的，只不过普通的笑料已经不能满足口味越来越重的观众了，人们迫切需要几个wackdoodle带来一些新意。《大爆炸理论》的创作动机应该就是这样，甚至它的名字也只是个噱头，因为剧情的发展与这个理论毫无关系 – 如果说今天的一切都是起源于大爆炸，所以它就要叫这个名字的话，那么所有的剧集都可以叫这个名字了。下面我们就来详细研究下《生活大爆炸》成功地具体因素。

一、分众路线

跟看过《老友记》的朋友聊起《生活大爆炸》时，曾经戏称这是“21世纪的《老友记》”，这样的说法多少说出了它在一些我这样的《老友记》剧迷心中的地位，一部充满智慧的笑料和温馨的剧集走完后，突然看到这部极具当今时代特色和元素的剧集，实在眼前一亮，进而也发现了这部剧集独树一帜的鲜明特质。如果说《老友记》打的是友谊普世牌，那么《生活大爆炸》就走的是分众路线，《老友记》模糊化了一些与剧中人职业、社会地位等相关的个人背景性元素，表现的人与人关系的角度更有普遍性，因而赢得了年轻观众较为广泛的喜爱。而在《老友记》将这一角度表现的已经极其优秀之后，走同样的路显然很不容易，所以分众化，针对不同群体挖掘是更靠谱的路线，《生活大爆炸》的成功除了得益于其本身的剧本优秀，表演出彩外，也与其打中的群体普遍性相关。从分众切入点来看，职业是常见手段，这要求要么这个职业本身承载了很大的从事者人数，可以引起他们的共鸣，要么要求这个职业与很多人相关，或者人们对之比较好奇，美剧颇为偏爱的医疗行业就具有这样的特征，从事人数基数大，而且与很多人相关，即使不从事这一行业，多少都接触过从事这一行业的人，也有这个好奇心去观看。

二、巧妙的切入点——宅男

《生活大爆炸》的切入点更加巧妙，即与职业无关，而是与一个群体的生活状态有关，曾经有人认为本剧切中了理工宅男的特性，所以容易引起相关人士的共鸣，在我看来，“理工”二字可以去掉，热衷电子游戏和《星际迷航》与是不是理科高材生没有关系，本剧实际上就是切入了如今“宅男”生活状态的庞大群体，以自嘲的方式引起观众共鸣。同时剧中一个非常重要的人物就是Penny，可以说她本质上比Sheldon更为重要，因为如果只是四个宅男的奇异故事会，那么恐怕也只能引得宅男竞折腰而已，而Penny的出现就像一个对宅男状态好奇、不解的群体的代言人，她的出现自然也带来了这部分观众，同时也围绕她的视角去激发四位宅男的百态，并以Penny的角度表现这些行为的反差，进而引发喜感。

三、成功的人物塑造 作为一部喜剧，人物性格的塑造至关重要，似乎这类喜剧都有一个共同的特征，就是几个人间，总有巨大反差的个性，往往向各自的某个方向走极端，但是总体一看又达到了平衡，最终形成让观众有亲切感的共鸣。我注意到的一个特点是，越是极端到平常生活中难的一见或者忍受的人，在《生活大爆炸》中可能更受人青睐，比如剧中如今堪称第一巨星的Sheldon，其粉丝已经足以成教，而这个生活中真碰到可能让人崩溃乃至躲避的竹竿男则成了“可爱”的化身。他表现的是一种纯粹生活在自己世界的宅男，他们的所谓“宅”不是因为不愿走出门外，而是实际上已经神游出门外，在自己的世界中怡然自得。而Howard和Raj的宅则是本不愿宅，而性格和交际的能力问题让其不得不宅，Howard体现的就是宅男性需求的极端化，同样渴望异性之爱，甚至因此有过激表现，本性实际上不坏，却时刻散发着猥琐的气质。Raj则是典型的性格羞涩，交际障碍，这样的人其实处于一种越羞涩越口拙，越口拙挫折感越强，进而越羞涩的恶性循环，渴望走出宅的世界，甚至渴望被蜘蛛咬一口成蜘蛛侠，只要能引起他人关注就成。这二位反映的是相对更普遍的宅男身上的一种特性，但是却也以极端化的方式表现，因而也透出些可爱之处。

四、灵魂人物——Sheldon 应该说剧集开始时几位主演的戏份是平分秋色的，编剧似乎并未把宝完全压在Sheldon身上，但是后来因为某些原因，观众的反应也好，演员的个人魅力也罢，剧情的重心开始向他倾斜了。以现实的角度来看，Sheldon的某些怪癖实在是有些离谱了，比如在电影院里要发出怪声测试最佳声效位置，沙发垫子送去干洗了就不能就座等等。不过，这些合理的夸张极大地丰富了这个角色，也为演员的表演提供了空间。然而艺术归艺术，生活归生活，现实中我不相信会有人能长期忍受这种性格的人。人性是残忍而狭隘的，相处则需要互相的忍耐与恭维，这个角色仅仅是在四方屏幕里才如此光彩四溢，可爱而迷人。

继续来介绍Sheldon的几个显著特征： ①、没有性向

注意，不是性向不明，而是根本就没有。在整整两季中，除了第二季某一集中对Leonard的母亲表现出异乎寻常的兴趣外，Sheldon没有对任何男女流露出半点欲求。就像Howard说的那样，也许哪天当他吃到了足够多的印度食品后，就会以无性繁殖的方式分裂出另一个Sheldon来。至于Leonard的母亲，与其说她性吸引了Sheldon，不如说两个怪胎太过臭味相投而彼此感觉亲切而已。②、重度强迫症患者

敲门必须三下，如果房主应答早了，剩下的也必须如数敲完； 吃饭和看电视时必须坐在沙发最左边的位置上，任何人都不得侵占这个四维世界里永恒的地盘，即使当他不在场的时候；

知道别人的秘密后如果不说出来就会表情僵硬、坐立不安； 在规定的时间里必须作规定的事，如因意外情况导致变化，则会带来极大的不爽；

接到别人的暗示后如果不致电回复就会手足无措；

③、智商与情商严重失衡

证明Sheldon智商之高的数据虽然不多，但每一项都非常吓人，比如小小年纪就已经有多少个博士学位加身，十几岁就去某大学当客座教授，最年轻的XXX奖得主等等（原谅我记不清奖项的名字了，但肯定不是诺贝尔）。正因为这份高智商带来的震慑力，人们对其情商之低下只能抱无限忍耐之态度。当然，任何事情都有两面性，不谙世事有时也会达到令人捧腹的效果，比如当Leonard的母亲认为Raj和Howard是同性情侣后，两人果然像小俩口一样关于漫画店里的一件事争吵了起来。Sheldon带着狐疑目光坐在一旁，正当人们以为他会说“哥们，你俩果然很像一对儿哦”时，他却愤愤地说到：“你俩去漫画店竟然不带我？”

④、只能接受无选择性的约定俗成

朋友之间相互送礼在他看来是一场谁坚持到最后就50 dollars richer的游戏，人类沿用多年的习俗只要有一丝逻辑上的缺陷，就会被他抓住把柄批个体无完肤。不过，这块又臭又硬的逻辑石头却可以对一切non-optional的东西全盘接受，如果道理讲不过他，就直接告诉他是non-optional的，通常他是绝对不会加以验证地欣然接受。

⑤、聪明脑袋也经常短路 有一集里Sheldon病了，拖着沉重的病体到Penny的馆子里捣乱，强辞夺理地说他没有任何选择只能亲自来用餐，penny冷冷地说，你可以点外卖嘛----这是案例一，说明聪明脑袋有可能败给只有高中学历的人；另一次Sheldon和Penny的男友较真儿，认为“错误”这个状态是没有比较级的，结果人家随口举了个例子：“说番茄是蔬菜是小错，而说它是大桥就大错特错了”----这是案例二，说明聪明脑袋也会败给漫画店老板。

五、具有无限内涵的剧本 《生活大爆炸》最令人叹为观止的还是其剧本，特别是将一些科学专业性的内容科普化后，又转化为笑料，其体现的机智让我对编剧深为敬佩。从第二季开始，Sheldon的核心地位就愈加突出，虽然也是编剧顺应民意，但是也多少打破了些剧情的平衡性，让此剧已有《谢耳朵传奇》的色彩，很多剧情折腾到最后似乎就是为了让Sheldon以他的“怪解读”来引发笑料，可以说，这个角色的压力也越来越大，现在看来，问题还不大，观众爱看，编剧也还扛得住。这些足以体现出编剧的强大功力和机智的头脑，相信以后几季的剧本还会有更好的突破。

《生活大爆炸》的成功不是偶然的，也不是必然的，这是在一个正确的场合、利用正确的渠道、通过正确的方式、改编正确的剧本、邀请正确的演员而完成的著作，它开创了一个新模式，提供了一个新营销策略，是一个里程碑。
