提起英语，想必大多数MBA考生都会很头疼，可是为何最近炒得说英语成了MBA考生的香饽饽呢？据微博相关专业老师调查，确实如此。

就业不火热，专业科目多

然而和这股持续的“英语考研热”形成鲜明反差的是，英语专业的就业情况并非那么理想，这是因为现在会英语的人才越来越多，很多公司和企业需要的都是“擅长英语的技术型人才”，而英语专业毕业生却大多缺少专门的行业背景，因而对很多岗位只能望而却步。所以现在的情形似乎成了这样：英语专业学生会的，其他专业的学生也会。可其他专业学生会的，却是英语专业学生在短期内无法掌握的。这些都无疑给英语专业学生出了道大难题，甚至有人开始提出：英语专业已经不能被称作是一门专业了。

事实果真是如此吗？现在中国大学生的英语水平虽然有所提高，但真正能说流利英语的人有多少？能不依靠字幕听懂英文电影对白的人有多少？能开口和外国人面对面交流的人又有多少？众所周知，答案是不太乐观的。大多数的大学生都是为了四六级，GRE，托福[微博]这些证书才走进教室，翻开那本早已落满灰尘的英语词汇书。当他们和英语专业的学生交流时，他们感兴趣的总是：我应该怎么记单词，我应该如何过六级等关于应试的问题。作为英语专业的学生，这些问题我听到过太多次，每次都不知道如何来回答。只能摊下手，表示我不知道。每当这时候，我总会被别人小小地鄙视一下，但是，我确实不知道。

英语专业之所以能成为一个专业，在于它本身的内涵，它并不是像其他非英语专业学生想象的一样，是一门记单词或学语法的专业。事实上，自从大学进入英语系之后，我已经很少记背单词了，语法也大多还给高中老师了，而我学的最多的是一种英语整体能力以及相关的文化素养。英语专业是英语语言文学的简称，它包括翻译、英语国家文化、外国文学、语言学、应用语言学等很多分支。其中，语言学和文学比较偏理论，应用语言学和翻译比较偏向应用。应用语言学目前主要是指英语教学法，有志于当老师的同学可以选择它作为专修。翻译包括笔译和口译，在具体的课程设置上，每个学校会有自己的偏向，比如北京师范大学[微博]英语类专业比较偏笔译一些，而对外经济贸易大学[微博]的翻译则多为商务型口译。语言学则是一门理论性非常强的学科，对语言本身感兴趣，或喜欢做理论研究的同学可以选择这门课程，以后可以选择当大学教授，或是进专门的语言研究机构等。外国文学主要包括英国文学和美国文学，对文学感兴趣的同学则可以选择这一方向继续深造。

跨考难度大，还需想仔细

有很多本科不是英语专业的学弟学妹们曾经咨询过我的意见：“学姐，我想报考英语专业的研究生。我觉得我英语基础还不错，大学四级我考了多少分，六级我是学校第几名，我觉得我有这个能力。”每当这个时候我就觉着哭笑不得，英语专业考研可不容易，这可不是大学四六级，经过一两个月的突击复习就可以通过的，英语专业考研尤其是跨专业考研有很多“拦路虎”需要克服。

首先，需要注意的就是二外。其他专业考研需要考英语，可千万别以为英语专业考研就不需要考语言了，它需要考一门二外，常见的二外有日语、法语和德语，有的学校也会提供西班牙语的考试。至于对二外的要求，每个学校情况不尽相同，甚至同一所学校，不同语种也会有不同的难度。比如在北京师范大学的二外里，法语比较容易拿高分，而日语则相对较难，这其中的差距可能会达到10分左右。如果你是一名从未学过除英语外的其它语种的考生，那么你除了复习英语外，还必须花费大量时间开始学习另外一门你未接触过的语言，这其中的难度不言而喻。

其次，考英语专业的研究生不仅仅只需要单词和语法，还需要掌握大量的英美文化。如果本科是英语专业的同学，他们在本科上过这样的课，经历过系统的学习，这还比较容易，可对于本科是非英语专业的跨考生来说，这也是难度比较大的一点。因为在很多学校的基础英语考试里，英美文化概括都占有一部分分数，而英美文化本身的知识含量又非常丰富，可以出的考题范围也是浩瀚无垠，在没有经过本科阶段专门训练的情形下，要克服这个困难还是需要下很大的功夫的。

没有教材倚，学习靠自己

英语专业研究生的生活，也和本科阶段大相径庭。首先是没有固定课表了，也没有本科时的必修课和选修课，每个人可以根据自己的兴趣和爱好进行选课。例如在应用语言学方向，你可以选择偏理论的教学理论与方法课，可以选择偏实际的教材分析与设计，还可以选择语言测试等课程，学校不会做任何强制安排，你只需在毕业时完成相应的学分就可以了。

英语研究生的上课方式也和本科阶段有着很大的不同，那就是基本以学生为主，教授只做适当或很少的精讲与小结。在本科阶段，可能一学期下来，一门课我们只需做一到两次PPT,但是在研究生阶段，几乎每节课都需要用PPT做课堂展示，并且大都以小组形式完成。和其他专业不一样，英语专业研究生大都是小班教学，所以它的课堂形式也比较偏西方化一点，一般是在研一阶段，同学之间开始自由组合，2人或3人一组形成一对组合，此后不轻易分开，几乎在所有的课上，都是这小组内部合作或是结合其他小组一起完成作业，每个人都需对小组作出贡献，最后教授的给分也是同时给你和你的partners,小组成员得分几乎一样。

除了上课形式外，研究生所学的内容和本科生也不太相同。本科生所学习的几乎都还是教科书上的知识，而研究生是没有课本的，也不存在开学了全班一起去买教材的情况。每个人根据自己的研究兴趣去书店买书，而非全班千篇一律。研一刚开始的时候，教授布置了一个作业，就是交一篇报告。初为研究生的我们都非常懵懂，再仔细问教授详情，要交一份什么样的报告，怎么写报告时，教授只是笑而不语，说随便你们，你们爱写什么就写什么，我只要报告。这对于本科时习惯听从老师安排的人来说，实在是反应不过来。后来，我和我的组员经过激烈的讨论，确定了我们的报告题目——《高能力英语学习者的学习特征》。之后，我们开始动员我们所有的社会资源，找老师，找同学，最后确定了几个研究对象，然后约出来见面、采访、录音、撰稿、录入数据，对数据进行分析，再形成数据分析图，得出结论。由于我和另一个同学都是第一次进行“研究”，所以都格外兴奋，在这整个调查过程中，我们完全都是依靠自己的力量去探索，过程虽然辛苦，但当我们当着全班同学展示自己做的报告时，那种自豪感真是本科阶段从未体会过的。

外语是一种工具，它打通了中西方文化思想交流的壁垒，避免了以往那些因封闭而产生的傲慢与偏见。但它又绝不仅仅只是工具，它使我们变得更有气质，更有涵养。这种气质和涵养不是包装，也非做作，而是在读书万卷过后，兼容了东方人的沉稳内敛与西方人的奔放活泼，它是一种超凡脱俗的智慧，它是一种洞悉世事的大气，它是一种直面人生的豁达，它还是一种勇于自嘲的幽默。我坚信：英语这个专业必将随着社会进步而进化成一个更具意义和特色的专业，而我们每一位英语人，都会为自己的专业感到骄傲和自豪！

摘 要：初中阶段学生历史学习成绩两极分化呈严重趋势，后进生所占的比例较大，特别在八年级表现得尤为明显。这种状况直接影响着大面积提高历史教学质量。心理学认为，人的情感与认识过程是相联系的，任何认识过程都伴随着情感。“亲其师，信其道。”和谐的师生关系是保证和促进学习的重要因素，特别要对后进生热情辅导，真诚帮助，从精神上多鼓励，学法上多指导，树立他们的自信心，拉近他们与优生的距离，改善他们的学习能力，提高他们的学习成绩。

关键词：成绩；兴趣；两极分化；历史教学

新的教育理念要求树立“全面发展观”，既要注重发展学生的个性，又要面向全体学生。在初中阶段，学生历史学习成绩呈现出两极分化的趋势，后进生所占的比例较大，特别在初中二年级表现得尤为明显。这种状况显然与培养全面发展的创新人才是相违背的，直接影响着学生提高历史教学质量。那么，造成两极分化比较严重的原因是什么？如何预防严重分化？本文结合自己的教学实践作一些粗浅的探讨。

一、造成两极分化的原因

⑴缺乏学习历史的兴趣和学习意志薄弱是造成分化的主要内在心理因素。对于初中学生来说，学习的积极性主要取决于学习兴趣和克服学习困难的毅力。笔者对所在学校初中包括自己任教的三个班级在内的八年级7个班抽样调查表明，200名被调查学生中，对学习历史有兴趣的占48％，其中有直接兴趣的26人，占13％；有间接兴趣的56人，占28％；原来不感兴趣，后因更换老师等原因而产主兴趣的14人，占7％；对历史不感兴趣或兴趣软弱的占52％，其中直接不感兴趣的18人，占9％，原来有兴趣，后来兴趣减退的86人，占43％。调查中还发现，学习历史兴趣比较淡薄的学生历史学习成绩也比较差，学习成绩与学习兴趣有着及其密切的联系。

学习意志是为了实现学习目标而努力克服困难的心理活动，是学习能动性的重要体现。学习活动总是与不断克服学习困难相联系的，初中历史教学方式的变化也比较大，教师辅导减少，学生学习的独立性增强。在这过程中有的学生适应性强，有的学生适应性差，表现出学习情感脆弱、意志不够坚强，在学习中，一遇到困难和挫折就退缩，甚至丧失信心，导致学习成绩下降。

⑵掌握知识、技能不系统，没有形成较好的历史认知结构，不能为连续学习提供必要的认知基础。

初中历史教材结构的逻辑性、系统性更强。首先表现在教材知识的衔接上，前面所学的知识往往是后边学习的基础；其次还表现在掌握历史知识的技能技巧上，新的技能技巧形成都必须借助于已有的技能技巧。因此，如果学生对前面所学的内容达不到规定的要求，不能及时掌握知识，形成技能，就造成了连续学习过程中的薄弱环节，跟不上集体学习的进程，导致学习分化。

⑶思维方式和学习方法不适应历史学习要求。

八年级是历史学习分化最明显的阶段。一个重要原因是初中阶段历史课程对学生思维能力要求有了明显提高。而八年级学生正处于过渡的又一个关键期，没有形成比较成熟的思维方式，因此学生个体差异也比较大，有的思维能力发展快一些，有的则慢一些，因此表现出对历史学习接受能力的差异。除了年龄特征因素以外，更重要的是教师没有很好地根据学生的实际和教学要求去组织教学活动，指导学生掌握有效的学习方法，有效促进学生思维的发展，提高学习能力和学习适应性。

⑷教师教学方法不当也是造成分化的重要原因之一

由于受应试教育的影响，初中历史教学仍在不同程度上存在着下列情况： ①课堂教学中，教师面对几十个知识水平和个性存在着差异的学生，常常发出同一个指令，很少考虑到高、中、低不同水平的情况。这种划一的要求，必然导致分化的产生。

②“一言堂”、“满堂灌”仍是一些教师习惯的教法，学生完全处于被动应付的状况。教师没有很好地根据学生的实际和教学要求去组织教学活动，没有及时指导学生掌握有效的学习方法，不注意发展学生的逻辑思维，导致学生在学习上处于被动地位，进而产生分化。

③作业布臵过多或偏少，学生作业抄袭现象严重，作业效度极低。

二、减少历史学习两极分化的教学对策

⑴培养学生学习历史的兴趣

兴趣是推动学生学习的动力，学生如果能在学习历史中产生兴趣，就会形成较强的求知欲，就能积极主动地学习。培养学生历史学习兴趣的途径很多，如让学生积极参与教学活动，并让其体验到成功的愉悦；创设一个适度的学习竞赛环境；发挥趣味历史的作用；提高教师自身的教学艺术等等。

⑵教会学生学习

有一部分后进生在学习历史上费工夫不少，但学习成绩总不理想，这是学习不适应性的重要表现之一。教师要加强对学生的学习指导，一方面要有意识地培养学生正确的历史学习观念；另一方面是在教学过程中加强学法指导和学习心理辅导。

⑶在历史教学过程中加强抽象逻辑思维的训练和培养。

要针对后进生抽象逻辑思维能力不适应历史学习的问题，从七年级教学开始就加强抽象逻辑能力训练，始终把教学过程设计成学生在教师指导下主动探求知识的过程。这样学生不仅学会了知识，还学到了历史的基本思想和基本方法，培养了学生逻辑思维能力，为进一步学习奠定较好的基础。

⑷改革教学方法，帮助学生树立主体意识

①课堂教学应以学生为主体，教师决不可以越俎代庖，以知识的讲授替代主体的活动。教师要讲究教学策略，采用生动活泼的形式，使学困生开动脑筋，积极参与，大胆实践，在参与过程中品尝成功的愉悦，激发学习历史的动机。

②历史探究性学习，能有效地沟通历史与生活之间的联系，激发学生学习历史的兴趣。作为教师，要善于为学生的学习设臵探究的情境，营造探究的氛围，有计划、有目的地指导学生开展探究性活动。

③掌握反馈信息，精心设计练习。教学活动中，教师要注意掌握反馈信息，及时采取措施，弥补缺陷，以保证达到预期的教学目的。

练习是掌握知识、形成技能的重要途径。应该精心设计每个练习，做到有的放矢，练在点子上，多次反馈，重视讲评，具体地帮助学困生弥补知识缺漏，使之切实掌握所学知识，并在实际运用中，逐渐形成技能技巧。

⑸实施分层教学与个别辅导策略。在历史学习中出现两极分化是难免的。因此，分层教学与个别辅导就十分必要。在分层指导中，教师要运用教育机智，坚持实事求是的原则，有针对性地指导学生克服学习中遇到的困难，摆脱学习中的窘境，最终实现预期的成长与发展目标。

⑹建立和谐的师生关系

心理学认为，人的情感与认识过程是相联系的，任何认识过程都伴随着情感。初中生对某一学科的学习兴趣与学习情感密不可分，他们往往不是从理性上认为某学科重要而去学好它，常常因为不喜欢某课任老师而放弃该科的学习。“亲其师，信其道。”和谐的师生关系是保证和促进学习的重要因素，特别要对后进生热情辅导，真诚帮助，从精神上多鼓励，学法上多指导，树立他们的自信心，拉近他们与优生的距离，改善他们的学习能力，提高他们的学习成绩。
