学生在做书面表达时出现的典型错误主要有以下几个方面: 1.审题不认真,偏离主题。

2.抓不住写作要点,文章内容混乱。

下笔前,需要列出内容要点,然后用英语把这些要点表达出来,最后连句成文,与要点有关的细节可适当发挥,画龙点睛。有的学生抓不住重点,写一些与要点无关的内容,更有甚者,摘抄阅读理解的片段来蒙骗阅卷老师,结果丢了本不该丢的分。

3.用词不准确,汉语式表达方式比比皆是。有的学生极力追求使用花哨的词语,而忽视基本词语,结果杜撰出一些错误百出的英语词句来,使自己的成绩大打折扣。

(1)常用词拼写错误严重。

(2)关键词用错。好多考生把关键词,尤其是句中的动词用错。例如:An entrance fee shouldn’t be taken(应为charged).It will effect(应该用 affect)the face of the city.The money will be used to support(应为pay)the garden workers等等。

(3)受母语干扰严重。今年的书面表达题用到的词汇和句型多为初中课本出现的,且使用频率较高的基本词汇,并不难。可是有些学生受汉语影响程度很深,尽写出汉语式的英语句子,不合乎英语的习惯和语法。

4.语言基本功差,语法错误严重。

(1)时态、语态错误。在评卷过程中我们发现一部分考生语言基本功较差,分不清一般现在时与一般过去时使用的特定场合,有的通篇使用一般过去时,这与本题要求不符。另外,区分不开主动语态和被动语态,该用主动语态的句子,用了被动语态,该用被动语态的地方却用了主动语态。如:The park must be built(应为must build)a gate and walls.The money will use(应为be used)to pay the garden workers.The park is needed(应该用needs)to build a gate等。

(2)句与句之间缺少必要的过渡词语。一篇文章要想上下文连贯、通顺,条理清楚,恰当地使用过渡语是非常必要的。过渡词语能承上启下,帮助读者理清文章的思路,密切句子之间的逻辑关系,从而使整段文字衔接自然、流畅。但是有相当数量的考生不会使用but, so, however, because, on the other hand, what’s more, besides 等过渡词语,致使所写文章前后不连贯,条理不清楚,重点不突出。

(3)句子结构错误,语序不当。例如,有的学生这样写:40% students against /againsted the idea.The result as follows„.There are sixty percent students think„.If charged an entrance fee„ The entrance fee shouldn’t very high.(4)句子类型单一,用词呆板。有不少学生通篇用简单句、陈述句、小短句,不会使用较复杂的句子,如强调句、倒装句、主从复合句和固定句型,因而文章显得单调乏味,档次不高。

三、书写不规范,卷面不整洁。主要表现在:(1)字母大小不均,难以辨认。(2)不会按移行规则移行。(3)标点符号使用不当。从2000年起,书面表达题采用新的评分标准,规定“拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面”。评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。有的学生受汉语影响,每写一句话就点一个逗号,无法辨认应该在哪儿断句,还有的学生根本不会正确使用英语标点,如逗号、句号和句号等。(4)字迹潦草,卷面不整洁。书面表达要求学生具有书写规范化的能力。所谓书写规范,要求字迹清楚、工整,卷面整洁,美观大方。但遗憾的是,在评卷过程中,我们发现有相当多的考生的书写是不尽人薏的。究其原因:一是平时不注意书写训练,没有养成良好的书写习惯,二是答题时间紧张,书写太快所致,结果字迹潦草,卷面不整洁,影响了考生的实际成绩。

四、书面表达题应试对策。高考英语书面表达是以文章内容要点,语言是否得体及字数作为评分依据,而更侧重语言的表达。考生在进行书面表达训练时,应注意以下几点:

1.认真审题。审题是做好书面表达的关键。考生对写什么,怎么写,在头脑中必须有一个清晰的思路。

2.在平时训练中应在谴词造句上多下工夫。从词语上,尽可能运用自己学过的,并且是比较熟悉的词语。从句式上,力求使句式多样化,如强调句、倒装句、各种从句及常用句型与长短句交互使用,丰富自己的表现力,同样的意思尽量用多种方法表达。

3.句与句之间恰当地使用一些过渡词语,使上下文连贯、顺畅。4.写完后,认真检查、核实、校正,将错误降低到最低限度

英语的书面表达教学曾经是我在教学过程中十分棘手的一个问题,英语的书面表达和语文的小作文相似,它要求的篇幅十分短小,仅限于150个单词或150个字。但“麻雀虽小,五脏俱全”,要在这么短小的一片文章里表达清楚一件事,或阐明一种观点的话,不仅要求学生有高度的概括能力,而且要求学生有熟练的驾驭英语的能力。在教学过程中我一直在分析学生写作中存在的问题,摸索确实可行的方法,创造可能的条件,最大可能的提高学生的写作能力。

学生面临的写作困难主要有以下几个方面:1.心里因素的制约。一部分学生根本不重视书面表达,因为初中时所养成的定势思维,初中时书面表达很简单,根本不需要去刻意的练习。还有一部分学生认为英语书面表达难写。他们认为英语写作提高耗时长、见效慢;另外,学生在写作过程中词汇缺乏,所掌握的基本技能很有限。2.写作内容单调。对大多数学生而言,几乎在作文中都体现出内容贫乏,思路狭窄、不开阔。3.写作技巧欠缺。不少同学动笔前没有审题、构思的习惯,提笔就写,边想边写,东拼西凑,语无伦次,根本没有使文章主题与段落和句子连为一体的整体概念。另一方面,学生在写作时只注意单句的意思表达,而忽视了句子的逻辑关系。分析了学生的主要问题之后,我就有意识地对学生进行写作重要性的教育,并通过立足教材和活用教材,重视挖掘,拓宽学生写作的渠道,指导学生进行高效的英语写作练习。

一、重视学生平时的积累。

书面表达注重学生综合运用语言的能力,从高一就要抓起,指导学生养成良好的语言习得习惯,着重打好语言学习基础,尤其是词句的练习。此外,还要采取一些方法培养学生的语感和笔头写作能力。

1、背诵课文中含有语言点的句子、段落,含有主旨句的段落,并且进行仿说、活用。这样做不仅可以帮助学生理解课文,记忆重要的短语、句型,而且还可以积累话题写作内容和培养语感。

2、积累短语词汇。词汇是说话写作的必需材料要求学生每天运用联想、发散等方法记忆一定量的单词。在词汇教学中,坚持用英语解释新单词,注意同义词和同词根的积累,开发学生发散性思维。例如:见到短语as a matter of fact(事实上)这个短语时,就可以让学生写出所有的表达这个意思的词和短语,有in fact ;in actual fact;in reality以及副词actually。并且要求学生造句,在句子中记住它们。

3、收集英语中写作的各种题型的格式和篇章结构,尤其是一些实用文体如书信、邀请函、通知、口头通知等。背诵开头和结尾的优美句型。

4、坚持一句多译练习。开发学生发散性思维,坚持表达方式多样化的练习。如:会议结束了,就可以翻译为:

to their meeting.5、限时训练,集中精力,一气呵成。在限定时间内,一般是20分钟,完成写作、修改,定稿和誊写任务是有一定难度的,所以平时注重限时训练,养成良好习惯,时刻提醒同学要善于避生就熟,“曲线”表达,但切记中文式英语,要善于英语思维。

二、加强英语写作步骤的教学。

在教学中,一直向学生强调要想拿高分就要取悦于阅卷老师。阅卷老师喜欢的文章:字体工整,卷面整洁,紧扣主题,条理清晰;语言地道,过渡自然;长度适中,一气呵成。而讨厌的文章:层次不清,段落不分;语句不通,杂乱无章;书写潦草,卷面不清。在教学中应根据教学内容设计使用一系列教学活动,提高学生的写作技能。

第一步:审题构思,明确体裁和格式。在平时写作训练中,让学生明确常见的几种文体和格式,教师应该结合课文分类,按题材归纳,通过对各种文体的分析,掌握各种文体所需语言材料,促使学生熟悉英语篇章的常见结构,使学生熟悉不同文体的构成要素和不同要素的层次结构。只有这样学生写作时才会得心应手。

第二步:抓住要点,一一对应。要点齐全是得高分的关键,要点遗漏要扣分。一般为5~8个要点,加一些次要点构成一篇文章。可用列提纲式或关键词列出,以防遗漏。

第三步:遣词造句,句式灵活多变。教师应该帮助学生选择丰富多彩的语言材料。这些材料能够调动学生的兴趣,在润物无声中丰富学生的语言知识,提高学生的语感,开阔学生的文化视野。在阅读中,有意识的对各种从句、倒装句、强调结构、虚拟语气等语言形式进行分析、欣赏和积累对于学生形成英语语感、准确表达自己的思想有很大的帮助。从而为从根本上迅速提高学生书面表达能力打下扎实的基础。仅仅做到这些还不够,让学生的作文亮起来还要注意:

1、用词要亮,要简洁,不重复,要生动。

2、避免汉语式英语。如:The fish doesn’t smell fresh.不能写成:The fish

smells not fresh.3、造句要亮:可以有意识地在文中使用非谓语动词形式、倒装句、虚拟语气、省略句及with的复合结构等句式,使文章更有表现力和感染力。如:

A strong storm hit/struck in our city last week要比A strong storm happened in our city last week生动活泼的多。

又如:Only by working hard can we succeed要比We can succeed by Working hard更富有说服力。

4、句间和段间过渡要亮。要在文章中段间、句间恰当使用一些表示过渡性的词语。如:表转折用but,however,nevertheless,yet,while,though,although,on the contrary等;表原因用because,since,for,以及介词短语because of,thanks to,due to,owing to等;表个人观点用in my opinion,as far as I concerned,personally,from my point of view,I think等还有其他的英语中表示上下文逻辑关系的词,使文章有机地结合在一起成为一个完整的整体。

第四步:规范作文 的篇章结构。作文基本格式很重要,三段式仍需强调:开头段—开门见山,点明主旨;主体段—衔接自然,内容连贯;可以由一个或一个以上的自然段组成,主要是以说明事由、叙述事件为主体,应该详细写。结尾段—简洁有力,首尾呼应。这三段浑然一体,不可分割。这就要求学生会用恰当的过渡词和过渡句使文章承上启下,流畅通顺。

总之,英文写作是一个学生综合能力的书面体现,是一个长期复杂的训练过程。只有坚持不懈地把学生综合能力的培养贯穿于日常的教学活动中,在写作教学中不断探索和创新,才能打破传统写作教学的模式,达到一个新的高度。教师要将阅读、翻译和写作技能的培养结合起来,加强对语言基本知识和基本技能的训练及中西思维差异的对比研究,这样才能使中学生的英语写作水平得到全面提高。培养学生的写作能力不是一蹴而就的,需要教师在平时就从学生的实际水平出发,有目的、有机会、有要求、有检查、有反馈地进行训练,由易至难,循序渐进。只有这样,学生到高考时才能做到厚积薄发,思如泉涌,下笔如有神。

英语的学习包括听、说、读、写四项基本训练,而英语写作是一种最全面的综合性训练,涉及到社会、文化背景、生活方式、风俗习惯等,它不仅有助于掌握这门语言,而且也有较大的实用价值。在高考英语试卷中书面表达分值是25分。可是英语书面表达部分却是令学生最头痛的部分。尤其是高中生,由于他们英语基础薄弱,造成大多数学生对英语写作产生惧怕的心里。每次写作文时,不是犯这样的错误,就是犯那样的错误。甚至有些学生在考试中放弃了这部份的得分机会。因此,加强学生的写作能力培养势在必行。

经过一番考虑之后,我对所任教班级学生英语学习情况进行调查,了解学生在英语写作中所存在的问题,学生们的困惑很多,比如说,不知道该用哪一种时态,该用哪些单词和短语,该怎样连词成句,因此会犯许多错误:主语中的、谓语动词中的、宾语中、状语中的、定语中的、词法方面的错误以及标点符号的错误等等

面对学生的这么多疑问,我觉得要提高学生的英语写作水平应该变以往的教学手段。根据学生对英语基础知识点的掌握程度,有计划的进行引导,训练。

(一)句型训练。写作训练从词法,句法知识入手,结合课本的一些重点单词,短语,进行五种基本句型的造句练习。例如:

S+V — The First World War broke out in 1914, S+V+O — We’re leading a happy life.S+V+P — The mixture tastes terrible.S+V+O(I)+O(D)— Mr Brown will give us a talk this afternoon, S+V+O+C — We should make our classroom clean and tidy.(二)改写对话。以第一人称或第三人称的口气讲述并写下已学过的对话内容。在改写中只要在理解原对话的基础上,给主要的句子换上一个主语即可。这样循序渐进的写作训练,理解主题,抓住要点的阅读能力会逐渐增强,词语,句型的运用能力也会大大提高。

(三)连词成句,连段成篇,看图作文等创造性的练习。

进行这方面的训练应循序渐进。注意先易后难,先学会运用 简单句,并列句,让后学会用复合句表达;先写句子,让后过度到围绕一个人,一件事,一个观点去写文章,由不限定时间到限定时间,由字数少到字数多,由模仿到创造。除了正确引导,有计划训练外,批改也是书面表达训练的一个重要环节。批改的艺术性和反馈的及时性则是吸引学生的学习兴趣,激发写作积极性.提高写作水平的原动力之一。优化评改则是批改艺术性和反馈及时性的体现。优化评改,一则要求批改要形式多样,灵活运用,如,全批、小组批改、面批、学生互改、对照范文修改等。而且,尽量让每个学生都能得到面批的机会,当面详细指出他们的优点和需改进的地方,让学生感到老师在注意、重视他,这会促使学生在一定程度上对写作给予重视,更加投入;二则除了指出错误和不足外,应尽可能多用一些表扬、鼓励、感动的评语激发他们的写作热情。发现优秀习作时,将其修改后当堂朗读或张贴在教室的习作栏进行展览,抓住一切可表扬的机会鼓励学生;再者,批改一定要及时,最好赶在学生急于知道结果时发还;最后.将改时随手记下的错误加以归类总结,对典型的、普遍性的错误要详细讲解。

经过两年的实践已初步形成了高三英语书面表达训练的基本模式,但由于时间有限,方法也不够完善和全面,各方面都还需要进一步的充实和扩展。这些都有待于在今后的教学实践中不断探索、总结和逐步规范。
