1.热身(Warm-up)Let’s start
教师引导学生看Let’s start部分的挂图,并请学生谈一谈里面要表达的信息,可以多问几个问题,如: What can you see from the picture? Which one do you like ? 2.新课呈现(Presentation and Practice)Let's learn(1)教师拿出公共汽车的图片,自问自答:“How do I go to school?I go to school by bus .”并在黑板上写下:by bus。教师再重复刚才的句子并问某一学生: What about you? How do you go to school?'’学生如果回答:“Me too!”教师就继续问下一名学生,直到有不同答案,教师帮助学生说出完整的句子:“I go...to school by„”并将相应的短语写在黑板上。(2)看短语贴卡片游戏
教师依次出示画着不同交通工具的短语卡片,让学生迅速地贴在黑板上的“by'’短语旁边,教师领读短语和句子“l go to school by„”
(3)学生听录音,跟读Let's learn部分的内容。教师注意纠正学生的语音、语调 Let's chant 教师放本课时Let's chant部分的录音,学生先静听一遍,再跟录音轻声吟唱一遍。教师再放录音,带着学生一起边唱边做动作.3.作业

2.能够表述自己以何种方式以及适当使用表示频度的副词,如:Usually I come on foot.二、教学重、难点

1.热身(Warm-up)Let's sing 教师播放本单元的歌曲“How you get there?”学生听并轻声跟唱。2.预习(Preview)Let's try 教师放录音,学生看图选择正确答案,并从听觉上进一步感知主要句型。3.新课呈现(Presentation)Let's talk(1)教师提问学生:“How do I come to school,do you know? Ask me,please!’’鼓励要更多的学生参与提问教师:“How do you come to school?”然后教师在黑板上画一个不行的人、一辆自行车、一辆公共汽车和一辆计程车的图案,回答说:“Usually I come to school on foot.How about you?”鼓励学生回答。
(2)教师放课文录音,之前向学生提出问题:“How do Mike,Amy and Mrs Smith come to school?listen.”学生听后回答问题。
(3)学生跟读录音,然后两人一组替换句型中的关键词练习对话。
(4)教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片,让学生读词后快速拼成正确的句子,或者空出四会句子当中的某些短语或单词,只给出打头的第一个字母作提示,让学生填充句予。最后再让学生书写四会句子。Group work 教师让学生四人一组,通过提问“How do you come to school?”了解同学用何种方式上学并能恰当使用频度副词和句子“That’s good exercise„.” 4.作业

1.能够听、说、认读以下短语:Slow down and stop at a yellow light.Stop and wait at a red light.Go at a green light.能够听、说、读、写短语和单词:slow down,stop,wait,go。
2.能够了解基本的交通规则,即红灯、黄灯、绿灯的功能;并能听懂英语指令做出相应的动作。

1.热身(Warm-up)老师在课前准备三张不同颜色的卡片,剪成圆形,做成红绿黄灯。复习单词:red, yellow, green.让学生根据老师出示的卡片快速读出单词。2.新课呈现(Presentation)(1)教师指着教室里的日光灯说:I like the lights because I can see things clearly at night.Can we see lights in different colours in our city ? 出示doctor,teacher, student, nurse 图片,让学生找出老师所说单词的图。
老师首先报:doctor.这个单词没学过,学生通过排除的方法找出医生。
老师拿着图领读 doctor, 抽读。
(2)出示单词卡片:doctor, teacher, nurse, student,让学生把卡片贴在相应的图下面,并拼读单词,正确的给相应小组加五角星。
3、Read the eight words together.(四)Play a game(巩固所学单词)游戏1:What’s missing? 把八张单词卡片贴在黑板上,静听老师说出其中七个单词,然后老师问:What’s missing? 学生立即说出没报的单词。同样的方法复习每个单词。
游戏2:Follow me.(单词卡片贴在黑板上)全班分两大组:
1、一组的一位同学报单词nurse, 另一组的一同学立即拼读:N-U-R-S-E, nurse.2、一组的一位同学拼读B-O-Y,另一组的一同学立即读出单词:boy.回答正确得分,否则另一组得分。最后看谁的分数高。

三、教材内容分析: 本单元的核心教学内容是“认物”,主要学习句子What are these/ those? They’re„。Book4A中已经出现What’s this/ that? It’s„句型。教学中教师可以采用以旧带新的方法,从单数句式引出复数句式,还可以通过单复数形式比较找出它们之间的区别。本单元主要出现了水果类单词,除lemons, strawberries, grapes三种水果是第一次出现以外,其余八种均在Book3A第三单元中出现过。教师可通过句型Do you like „? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.的问答教授这三个新单词,并适当补充一些学生感兴趣的水果单词。本单元出现的是这些单词的复数形式,涉及到词形、读音的变化,是教学中的难点。教师可以对名词复数的词形和读音进行归类。
与本单元所出现的水果类单词紧密结合的是在商店里购物的常用语Can I help you? How many kilos? These or those?等。在教学中教师要注意创设购物情景,让学生熟练自如的运用这些购物的基本用语。另外可以根据学生的具体情况适当补充一些其他购物用语或让学有余力的学生课后去收集这类交际用语,以扩充他们的知识面、锻炼他们的自主学习能力。

Postscript: 本单元为复习单元,课本中设置了多有样的习题类型。对单词进行本单元是复习部分,所设置的练习都是前四单元中所要求掌握的单词或句型。在习题的设置上,以形象生动的图片为主,还有一部分习题,把前面所学的知识杂糅到一个题目中,如,一些对话题中,所出现的句子和单词不一定只来自一篇课文,考察了同学们对所学知识的让同学们在练习过程中,对以前所学习的知识有一个系统和整体上的感受。既有听力方面的练习,也有书写和说话的训练,方式很全面。
