本学期共学习四个单元,十二个话题:Unit1 The Changing World 本单元教学内容主要围绕假期经历、人口问题、社会问题展开;Unit2 Saving The Earth本单元的三个话题仅仅围绕环境问题展开;Unit3 English throughout the world.本话题围绕着世界语言——英语展开,谈到了英语的广泛运用、英语学习的重要性、不同国家应用英语的差异、英语的发展、手势语、英语学习策略等问题;Unit4 Amazing Science本单元围绕着科学技术展开,谈到了“神州”五号、电脑科技、科技方面以及神秘的太空,便于中学生了解科学技术达到发展.一.外语教学和其他学科一样,有严谨的系统性和连贯性。学生在初

一、初二段所获得的语言技能,能否在初三年级得到继续发展,是防止分化的又一个问题。这就给教师提出了更高的要求,即力求把教学搞“实”、搞“活”。所谓“实”就是讲究实际效果,把课程标准化为具体的要求,落实到教和学上,对每课时的教学计划逐项落实。课堂上,少讲空话,多做实事,精讲多练,以学生为主;对每个单元进行考查、总结,分析存在问题,及时补缺补差,帮助学生过关。平时作业或测验得到好成绩或有进步的,一定在班上进行表扬,给予肯定;对作业错漏较多的当面批改,及时订正。所谓“活”就是侧重知识的活用训练,把外语课由“讲演课”变成“实践课”。采用任务型的教学方法,使学生一上课就置身于一个讲英语、用英语的环境中,在既紧张而又活泼的气氛中学习英语。第一个课时,我先把完成任务所需的语言写在黑板上,从而引出新单词,然后设置任务,要求同学们讨论他们能做的和不该做的。这学期我们搬迁到了宏村学校,大家置身于美丽而又洁净的新的学习环境中,是不是都想为她做些什么呢?我引导学生结合实际,从我做起,从身边做起,很自然地,学生在情景中大量实践,用已知的学习未知的,很容易掌握所学内容。英语和其它功课一样,需要多练多做。这几个月以来,我给同学们补充了许多练习,既巩固了所学知识,又拓宽了他们的知识视野。同时良好的师生关系对培养学生的兴趣大有帮助,因此,教师要注意控制自己的情绪,普遍关心学生,尤其差生,同他们交朋友,不歧视他们,不动辄呵斥他们,常鼓励他们的学习自信心和学习热情。让他们在自信中学习,在快乐中进步。新课程改革不是纸上谈兵,必须要与实践相结合,今后我要努力学习,积极进取,积极参与课程改革,在课改中不断学习,不断实践,不断反思。二.全面复习,突出重点

通过几次的月考后,我了解到今后的试题注重知识的覆盖面,着重考查学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。在平时的复习工作中,除了抓基础知识外,我更注重提高学生的试题分析能力。我注意收集中考的信息,最大限度地掌握中考命题的有关信息,研究复习的对策,突出重点,提高复习效果。三.做好学习方法上的指导

好的学习方法可以起到事半功倍的效果。我把早读课交由学生自己支配,但不是漫无目的的瞎读,而是有重点的读书,读自己认为掌握不够的部分。单词过不了关的,就记单词;课文不熟悉的,就读课文;句型记不住的,就背句型和例子。同时,我还引导学生注意总结解题经验,探索解题规律,养成良好的解题习惯。并且,我要求学生建立改错本,将错题整理收集起来,反复加强记忆。对于那些没有建立错题本的同学,我要求他们将做过的试卷很好的保存起来,以便自己复习时能用得着。

四.提高课堂40分钟的效率

课堂只有40分钟,学生也不可能在课后花很多时间在一门功课上。因此,教师必须提高英语课堂教学的效率。我在课前做好充分准备,加大课堂信息量,理论联系实际,精讲精练,讲练结合。讲,注意讲重点和难点;练,以限时训练为主,提高学生的解题速度和解题能力;评,及时评讲,重在指导。但有时我发现,因为怕学生漏掉了某些知识点,我还是讲得多了一些,给他们自己思考的时间少了一些。

五、学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣、自信心和学习动力;在英语课堂上不积极参与,缺少主动发言的热情或根本不愿意发言;另外,相当一部分学生在听新课时跟不上老师的节奏或不能理解教师相对较快的指示语。

六、学生对英语课堂知识的掌握不实在、理解不全面,课外花的冤枉时间多;而大部分学生对书本知识不够重视,找不到英语学科复习的有效载体,不能有效的利用课本,适时地回归课本,英语复习缺乏系统性,英语学习缺乏主动性。

七、部分学生缺少教师明确的指导,在复习时缺乏系统安排和科学计划,或者学习和复习没有个性化特点,导致学习效果不明显。

八、基于以上情况,我们认为作为学生中考的把关者,九年级英语教师首先要有正确地意识,应充分认识到:一节课有没有效益,并不是指教师有没有教完内容或教得认真不认真,而是指学生有没有学到什么或学生学得好不好。如果学生不想学或学了没有收获,即使教师教得很辛苦也是无效教学;或者学生学得很辛苦,却没有得到应有的发展,也是无效或低效教学。

九、教师要有课堂效益意识。教学效益首先体现在课堂教学信息量、教学活动的广度和密度以及媒体的使用上。有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。尤其是在复习课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段,不但可以活跃课堂,更能提高学生的参与面,短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有效的吸引并集中学生的学习注意,从而最终提高学习的听课效益;其次,课堂效益意识还体现在教学的设计中要充分为学而教,以学生如何有效获取知识,提高能力的标准来设计教学。课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与,有助于他们有效内化知识与信息,复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导,在教学中恰当地渗透中考的信息,拓宽教学内容。

十、英语课堂上教师应及时有效获取学情反馈,有效地进行课前回顾,课堂小结等环节的落实。为有效地提高英语课堂教学效益,教师还可以制定科学的、操作性强的、激励性的英语学习效果评价制度,坚持对学生的听课、作业、笔记等方面进行跟踪,及时了解学生的学习、复习状态与状况,以便在课堂教学过程中做出针对性的调整。

十一、注重课堂教学效率的提高,要切实抓好备课这一环节,即备课要精,练习要精,作业要精。同时,我们要积极进行教学反思,由教师自己及时反省、思考、探索和解决教学过程中存在的问题,及时调整教学方法,优化教学过程。在课堂教学中强调基础知识的学习。教师要突破现行教材的局限性,在重点语法项目上有系统的强化训练。在句法上不能拘泥于传统的语法层面,要搜集材料,适当拓宽。

十二、要强化分层次教学与辅导,通过分层次教学和辅导提升学生的成绩,从方法上,要抓住学生学习的薄弱点,区别不同情况,有针对性辅导。从策略上,加强学生实际问题的研究,做到缺什么、补什么,从对象上,要重点关注学科明显薄弱的学生,采用教师定学生、师生结对、辅导等有效形式使学生随时能得到教师的辅导和帮助,从而切实提高学生成绩。

十三、树立信心,明确目标

信心是动力,目标是方向。我们知道初三英语生词多,课文长而且难,听、说、读、写要求高。学生在学习中将会遇到许多困难,因此,信心十足,目标明确是成功地进行英语>教学的一个重要因素。首先,教师要上好课。如:备好课,吃透教材,抓住重点、难点,做到有的放矢。其次,教师要提高授课的效率,注重授课的艺术,活跃课堂气氛,激发学习兴趣,采用灵活多变的>教学方法。

英语学习切不可盲目,一定要制定一个切实可行、周密有效的计划。同时老师要给学生明确各阶段的学习目标,并制定相应的措施来保证目标的实施,要加大督促检查的力度,并在此基础上进行总结。在>教学过程中,应注意思想教育与知识>教学互相渗透,寓思想素质教育于知识教育之中,如:向学生讲述中国经济的迅猛发展急需大量的外语人才、北京奥运会的举办更需要更多的人会讲英语等,让学生认识到学英语的重要性,鼓励学生树立远大的理想,努力学好英语。
