商务往来或者正式文书。如果你和收信人没有在现实中打过交道,就用这个。

正式。在商务谈判场合,当信件话题很严肃的时候使用。有时,当你和收件人之间有分歧或者冲突的时候,可以使用。
在正式场合使用一个随和的结尾并不一定意味着什么不恰当的事情。有的时候,这样做可以显得你很自信,谈话很随和。然而,这样做之前请了解一下对方是不是喜欢这种随和的方式。
除了几位答主提到的语气不同,还有诸位都没提到一点,英文比较正式信或者是商业信件中yours fathfully 和yours sincerly跟开头称呼是有固定搭配的。参看BBC的Learning English 括号里的是简略翻译
Beginning and ending the letter
We can now begin the letter but leave as much space as possible so that the body of the letter sits tidily in the middle part of the page.(信正文部分放在纸的中间)

从澳洲求职的流程中涉及到的信件谈谈这几个词的用法

一般是第一次和对方(中介 或者 hr)联系,开头是 Dear Sir / Madam, 结尾就要对应放 Yours faithfully 接下来 可能有过电话/邮件的联系 敲定面试日期,开头是 Dear XXX,结尾对应 Yours sincerely 入职后,澳洲的人际关系距离变近的很快,日常寒暄是不用以上正式结尾,Best regards;Best wishes;Thanks and regards 随便用,cheers 也见过。当然你也可以参考发件人的结尾用语,选个同等程度的用回去。最后朋友之间就随便啦。如果有个女神给你发邮件没有结尾语,恭喜你她不是爱死你了 就是恨死你了。
首先,Best Wishes和其他3个词不是同类阿。Best wishes是一个祝福语,并不是用在最后记名的地方。用法: Best Wishes

大家都说了Sincerely/Regards和Cheers大致区别是正式和非正式。
Sincerely在信中不单用,一般都是Yours Sincerely.这个非常正式。并且是要对认识对方才用。如果双方不认识,但要非常正式,就用Yours Faithfully
Regards一般也不单用,一般用的是Best Regards/Warm Regards/Kind Regards。介于不正式和正式之间

个人经验,在商业信函中,或者说在邮件中,1.第一次联系,推销,建立业务关系,通常用sincerely,(Yours sincerely=I'm sincerely yours).学校学的外贸商业函电中比较正式的这种。
2.建立关系后,业务伙伴来往直接降为 best regards, 甚至直接br.欧洲客户特别喜欢这样,美国人则随意的多。甚至不用br, 直接收尾。
3.没有见过cheers.4.thanks一般只用过thanks for your cooperation in advance 或者最后再次致谢。个人不喜欢用br, 经常顺手thanks/xxxx.也没啥问题。
5.best wishes 过年,圣诞等私人场合用过,平时还是br.,一句话,br打天下。
看了高票答案觉得都不够完整。
使用valediction的时候,不仅要考虑随意/正式,也要考虑对方是哪国人。
美式英语:随意亲近的表示通常用Best;正式的用Sincerely, 或Yours sincerely,或Thank you。英 式英语:随意亲近的表示通常用Cheers;正式书信中,Best regards常见但偏商业化(香港人不管干什么都喜欢用BR),而在standard British English中,若信件开头为Dear Sir/Madam, Dear Manager此类未特指对方姓名的称呼,则用Yours faithfully结尾,若开头称呼有具体指称对方姓名,则用Yours sincerely。
如果双方实在够熟悉,或短时间多次电邮往来,为了省事也可直接署名。

至于best wishes,老实讲现实生活中我还未遇到过。好像小学初中学写英文贺卡的时候蛮常用。
首先,熟人之间是不写信的。因此,只说说在商务信函中的使用。
1)Sincerely, Regards, 没有区别,可以在任何情况下使用。你写了sincerely,也无法显出你sincere。2)Best wishes, 我个人认为这种说法比较娘炮。适用于不谈工作的商业信函,比如沟通感情、表达感谢的那种。3)Cheers,适用于团队内部。我也不知道写了这个cheers想表达什么,但是看起来特熟络、地道、高端。对于团队里的那些菜鸟来说,显得逼格高人一等。

随着网络的普及,日常财务工作中电子邮件成为了必不可少的沟通工具之一,但是在实际工作中,经常遇到这样的问题,收到的一封邮件,题目竟然是“无标题”,偶尔收到一个还好,收到的多了,在后期查找时很不方便,下属公司报送的财务报表,不注明公司名称,下面是从网上看到一篇关于电子邮件的商务礼仪,和大家分享。
“在商务交往中要尊重一个人,首先就要懂得替他节省时间”,电子邮件礼仪的一个重要方面就是节省他人时间,只把有价值的信息提供给需要的人。
写Email就能看出其人为人处世的态度。你作为发信人写每封Email的时候,要想到收信人会怎样看这封Email,时刻站在对方立场考虑,将心比心。
同时勿对别人之回答过度期望,当然更不应对别人之回答不屑一顾。以下职业电子邮件中礼仪问题,希望能给您的工作带来帮助!
一、关于邮件主题
主题是接收者了解邮件的第一信息,因此要提纲挈领,使用有意义的主题行,这样可以让收件人迅速了解邮件内容并判断其重要性。
1.一定不要空白标题,这是最失礼的;
2.标题要简短,不宜冗长,不要让outlook用,才能显示完你的标题;
3.标题要能反映文章的内容和重要性,切忌使用含义不清的标题,如“王先生收”;
4.一封信尽可能只针对一个主题,不在一封信内谈及多件事情,以便于日后整理;
5.可适当用使用大写字母或特殊字符(如“*!”等)来突出标题,引起收件人注意,但应适度,特别是不要随便就用“紧急”之类的字眼;
6.回复对方邮件时,可以根据回复内容需要更改标题,不要RE、RE一大串。
二、关于称呼与问候
1.恰当地称呼收件者,拿捏尺度 1.1 邮件的开头要称呼收件人。这既显得礼貌,也明确提醒某收件人,此邮件是面向他的,要求其给出必要的回应;在多个收件人的情况下可以称呼大家、ALL。
1.2 如果对方有职务,应按职务尊称对方,如“x经理”;如果不清楚职务,则应按通常的“x先生”、“x小姐”称呼,但要把性别先搞清楚。
1.3 不熟悉的人不宜直接称呼英文名,对级别高于自己的人也不宜称呼英文名。称呼全名也是不礼貌 的,不要逮谁都用个“Dear xxx”,显得很熟络。
2.Email开头结尾最好要有问候语
最简单的开头写一个“HI”,中文的写个“你好”;结尾常见的写个Best Regards,中文的写个“祝您顺利”之类的也就可以了。
俗话说得好,“礼多人不怪”,礼貌一些,总是好的,即便邮件中有些地方不妥,对方也能平静的看待。
三、职场的电子邮件礼仪
1.Email正文要简明扼要,行文通顺
Email正文应简明扼要的说清楚事情;如果具体内容确实很多,正文应只作摘要介绍,然后单独写个文件作为附件进行详细描述。
正文行文应通顺,多用简单词汇和短句,准确清晰的表达,不要出现让人晦涩难懂的语句。
2.注意Email的论述语气
根据收件人与自己的熟络程度、等级关系;邮件是对内还是对外性质的不同,选择恰当的语气进行论述,以免引起对方不适。
尊重对方,请、谢谢之类的语句要经常出现。
电子邮件可轻易地转给他人,因此对别人意见的评论必须谨慎而客观。“邮件门”就是深刻的教训!
3.Email正文多用1234之类的列表,以清晰明确。
如果事情复杂,最好1、2、3、4的列几个段落进行清晰明确的说明。保持你的每个段落简短不冗长,没人有时间仔细看你没分段的长篇大论。4.一次邮件交待完整信息
最好在一次邮件中把相关信息全部说清楚、说准确。不要过两分钟之后再发一封什么“补充”或者“更正”之类的邮件,这会让人很反感。
5.尽可能避免拼写错误和错别字,注意使用拼写检查
这是对别人的尊重,也是自己态度的体现。如果是英文Email,最好把拼写检查功能打开。
在邮件发送之前,务必自己仔细阅读一遍,检查行文是否通顺,拼写是否有错误。
6.合理提示重要信息
不要动不动就用大写字母、粗体斜体、颜色字体、加大字号等手段对一些信息进行提示。合理的提 示是必要的,但过多的提示则会让人抓不住重点,影响阅读。
7.合理利用图片,表格等形式来辅助阐述
对于很多带有技术介绍或讨论性质的邮件,单纯以文字形式很难描述清楚。如果配合图表加以阐述,收件人一定会表扬你的体贴。
8.不要动不动使用¤之类的笑脸字符,在商务信函里面这样显得比较轻佻
Business Email 不是你的情书,所以¤之类的最好慎用。只用在某些你确实需要强调出一定的轻松气氛的场合。
四、夹带附件
1.如果邮件带有附件,应在正文里面提示收件人查看附件;
2.附件文件应按有意义的名字命名,不可用外星人才看懂的文件名;
3.正文中应对附件内容做简要说明,特别是带有多个附件时;
4.附件数目不宜超过4个,数目较多时应打包压缩成一个文件;
5.如果附件是特殊格式文件,因在正文中说明打开方式,以免影响使用;
6.如果附件过大(不宜超过2MB),应分割成几个小文件分别发送;
7.尊重对方的习惯,不主动发起英文邮件;
如果对方与你的邮件往来是采用中文,请不要自作聪明的发送英文邮件给他;如果对方发英文邮件给你,也不要老土的用中文回复。8.选择便于阅读的字号和字体。
中文老实点用宋体或新宋体,英文就用Verdana 或 Arial 字型,字号用五号或10号字即可。这是经研究证明最适合在线阅读的字号和字体。
不要用稀奇古怪的字体或斜体,最好不用背景信纸,特别对公务邮件。
五、结尾签名
每封邮件在结尾都应签名,这样对方可以清楚的知道发件人信息。虽然你的朋友可能从发件人中认出你,但不要为你的朋友设计这样的工作。
1.签名信息不宜过多
电子邮件消息末尾加上签名档是必要的。签名档可包括姓名、职务、公司、电话、传真、地址等信息,但信息不宜行数过多,一般不超过4行。
你只需将一些必要信息放在上面,对方如果需要更详细的信息,自然会与你联系。
引用一个短语作为你的签名的一部分是可行的,比如你的座右铭,或公司的宣传口号。但是要分清收件人对象与场合,切记一定要得体。
2.不要只用一个签名档
对内、对私、对熟悉的客户等群体的邮件往来,签名档应该进行简化。过于正式的签名档会让对方显得疏远。你可以在OUTLOOK中设置多个签名档,灵活调用。
3.签名档文字应选择与正文文字匹配,简体、繁体或英文,以免出现乱码。字号一般应选择比正文字体小一些。
六、邮件回复 1.及时回复Email
收到他人的重要电子邮件后,即刻回复对方一下,往往还是不可少的,这是对他人的尊重,理想的回复时间是2小时内,特别是对一些紧急重要的邮件。
对每一份邮件都立即处理是很占用时间的,对于一些优先级低的邮件可集中在特定时间处理,但一般不要超过24小时。
如果事情复杂,你无法及时确切回复,那至少应该及时的回复说“收到了”,我们正在处理,一旦有结果就会及时回复。不要让对方苦苦等待,记住:及时做出响应,哪怕只是确认一下收到了。如果你正在出差或休假,应该设定自动回复功能,提示发件人,以免影响工作。
2.进行针对性回复
当回件答复问题的时候,最好把相关的问题抄到回件中,然后附上答案。不要用简单的,那样太生硬了,应该进行必要的阐述,让对方一次性理解,避免再反复交流,浪费资源。
3.回复不得少于10个字
对方给你发来一大段邮件,你却只回复“是的”、“对”、“谢谢”、“已知道”等字眼,这是非 常不礼貌的。怎么着也要凑够10个字,显示出你的尊重。
4.不要就同一问题多次回复讨论,不要盖高楼
如果收发双方就同一问题的交流回复超过3次,这只能说明交流不畅,说不清楚。此时应采用电话 沟通等其它方式进行交流后再做判断。
电子邮件有时并不是最好的交流方式。
对于较为复杂的问题,多个收件人频繁回复,发表看法,把邮件越RE越高,这将导致邮件过于冗长笨拙而不可阅读。
此时应即是对之前讨论的结果进行小结,删减瘦身,突出有用信息。5.要区分Reply和Reply All(区分单独回复和回复全体)
如果只需要单独一个人知道的事,单独回复给他一个人就行了。
如果你对发件人提出的要求做出结论响应,应该replay all,让大家都知道;不要让对方帮你完成 这件事情。
如果你对发件人的提出的问题不清楚,或有不同的意见,应该与发件人单独沟通,不要当着所有人的面,不停的RE来RE去,与发件人讨论。
你们讨论好了再告诉大家。不要向上司频繁发送没有确定结果的邮件。
点击“回复全部”前,要三思而行!6.主动控制邮件的来往
为避免无谓的回复,浪费资源,可在文中指定部分收件人给出回复,或在文末添上以下语句:“全 部办妥”、“无需行动”、“仅供参考,无需回复”。
七、正确使用发送,抄送,密送 要区分To和CC还有BCC(区分收件人、抄送人、秘送人)
1.To的人是要受理这封邮件所涉及的主要问题的,理应对邮件予以回复响应。
2.而CC的人则只是需要知道这回事,CC的人没有义务对邮件予以响应,当然如果CC的人有建议,当然可以回Email。
3.而BCC是秘送,即收信人是不知道你发给了BCC的人了的。这个可能用在非常的场合。
4.TO,CC中的各收件人的排列应遵循一定的规则。比如按部门排列;按职位等级从高到低或从低到高都可以。适当的规则有助于提升你的形象!
5.只给需要信息的人发送邮件,不要占用他人的资源。
6.转发邮件要突出信息。
八、注意事项
1.在你转发消息之前,首先确保所有收件人需要此消息;
2.转发敏感或者机密信息要小心谨慎,不要把内部消息转发给外部人员,或者未经授权的接收人;
3.如果有需要 还应对转发邮件的内容进行修改和整理,以突出信息; 4.不要将RE了几十层的邮件发给他人,让人摸不着头脑;
5.对外重要文件必须经高阶主管认可签字转为PDF文件,或由高阶主管亲自发送;
6.所有的电子邮件应自我Double check后才发出。
【点评】
1、沟通的效果,面对面最好,电话次之,邮件最差;
2、以后发送的邮件切记不要出现无标题之类,这样给收件人后期查询带来很多不便,同时也给收件人留下一个不好的印象;
3、如果前后发送同一个主题的邮件,但是邮件的内容有所变化,应在邮件标题中有所提示,如(更新)字样,当然,最好的方式是一步到位;
4、准确把握收件人、抄送人、密送人的不同使用方法及不同;
5、一个邮件通常只包含一件事情;
6、邮件的征文应突出主题,便于收件人阅读所要表达的重点,如果内容太多,可在邮件正文简明扼要的概括下内容要点,并注明详细内容请参看附件;
7、特殊格式的文件,需注明打开的方式,这样给使用者会带来更多的方便;
8、对财务人员来说,在报送报表、应收账款等情况时,可注明“**年**月**公司**报表”,在报送应收账款时,可注明“**公司应收账款表(截止**月**日)”,这样可以使人更加方便的阅读,也便于后期查看;
9、日常在发送邮件时,可以在word里面先进行输入,然后再复制到邮箱里,一方面在word里面便于编辑,另一方面word提供了自动保存功能,可以使我们更高效的工作,最后还可以利用word提供的【工具】-【拼写和语法】来检查是否存在语法错误;
邮件沟通较之面对面交流的一大优势在于,你可以借助一切力量使得你撰写的邮件准确无误得表达你的意图,而不必担心发音不标准或语法错误等让人尴尬的掉链子情况发生。
但往往人们忽视的便是一些细枝末节的注意事项,这儿有一些建议可以保证你的邮件给人留下好印象。
1.Know your email terms: 英语电子邮件发送程序有很多缩写,如果你不知道意思的话,你向老板提出的加薪请求就可能发给了整个办公室!
“Reply to all”表示你的回复将发送给每一个收到原始邮件的人。在邮件的地址栏内,“cc”(carbon copy)部分指的是该邮件发给你指定的人,即“抄送),而“bcc”指你可以悄悄的发送邮件而不让其他的人知道,即”密送“,b代表的是“blind”(掩藏的)。如果有人要你“forward”一封邮件,意思是要你通过转发的功能发送邮件,有时侯简写成“fw.” 2.Use the Right Greeting:尽管用“Hey”作为写给朋友的电子邮件开场白没有任何问题,但是最好不要用这种方式给一个潜在的商务伙伴这样写信。另一方面,使用非常正式的传统开场白“Dear Sir” 也已经越来越过时了。最好写成“Dear Mr./ Ms.” 后跟那个人的姓氏。同事之间,通常可直呼其名,如“Dear John”)。
3.Keep it Short and Clear: 有些情况下,可能需要用华丽的词藻和复杂的句式来彰显你的聪明才智和教育背景。而在用英语写邮件的时候,清晰、有条理的方式才是最佳选择。在邮件的第一段清楚的表明你写信的目的,保证每一段中都有代表核心观点的中心句。使用类似“first, second, next, and finally”的词引导读者你所要表述的每一个观点。你不需在邮件中包括所有的详细内容,取而代之的可以是类似“If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me,”这样的短语来结束邮件,这样一来可以为对方创造进一步交流的前提。
4.Be polite and tactful: 懂得谦逊和准确传达信息的重要性。“I want.”之类的词能避免则避免出现,相比之下,“I would like”显得更尊重对方。又如“I am interested in”是提出请求建议或寻求意见的好方法。5.电子邮件正确结尾: “I am looking forward to your reply,” “Thank you,”或者“Sincerely”都是给收信人留下好印象的结尾方式。

从问候开始
用问候语开始邮件内容非常重要,例如“Dear Lillian,”。根据你与收件人的关系亲近与否,你可能选择使用他们的姓氏来称呼他们而不是直呼其名,例如“Dear Mrs.Price,”。如果关系比较亲密的话,你就可以说,“Hi Kelly,”如果你和公司联系,而不是个人,你就可以写“To Whom It May Concern:”
感谢收件人
如果你在回复客户的询问,你应该以感谢开头。例如,如果有客户想了解你的公司,你就可以说,“Thank you for contacting ABC Company.”如果此人已经回复过你的一封邮件了,那就一定要说,“Thank you for your prompt reply.”或是“Thanks for getting back to me.”如果你可以找到任何机会那一定要谢谢收信人。这样对方就会感到比较舒服,而且显得更礼貌。
表明你的意图
然后,如果是你主动写电子邮件给别人的话,那就不可能再写什么感谢的字句了。那就以你写此邮件的目的开头。例如,“I am writing to enquire about …”或是“I am writing in reference to …”在电子邮件开头澄清你的来意非常重要,这样才能更好的引出邮件的主要内容。记得要注意语法,拼写和标点符号,保持句子简短明了并句意前后一致。
结束语 在你结束邮件之前,再次感谢收信人并加上些礼貌语结尾。你可以“Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”或“Thank you for your consideration.”开始接着写,“If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let me know.” 及“I look forward to hearing from you.”
结束
最后是写上合适的结尾并附上你的名字。“Best regards,” “Sincerely,”及“Thank you,”都很规范化。最好不要用“Best wishes,”或“Cheers,”类的词因为这些词都常用在非正式的私人邮件中。最后,在你发送邮件之前,最好再读一遍你的内容并检查其中有没有任何的拼写错误,这样就能保证你发出的是一封真正完美的邮件!
