Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some think yes, while others hold the opposite.

这句话乍看没亮点，但将众人皆知的“think”换为“insist”有没有觉得高大上了许多?

这个可是小编当年的“杀手锏”啊，虽谈不上洋气，但正确率百分百啊，还超好记!

“think”最终闪亮登场，但“seem to”为整个句子增添了点婉转之感，这种客观的方式貌似较受老外(尤其腐国人)喜爱。
引出不一样观点的万能模板：
1、People's views on。。。 vary from person to person。 Some hold that。。。 。 However， others believe that。。。。人们对……的观点因人而异。有些人认为。。。。。然而其他人却认为……
看这个长度就已然鹤立鸡群。其实，也是一个蛮简单也好记的模板。
2、Attitudes towards (drugs) vary from person to person。 人们对待吸毒的态度因人而异。
乍一看，跟上句的开头神似，其实就是省略掉了“people's”，不仅仅清爽并且好像高端了一些。
3、People may have different opinions on。。。人们对……可能会有不一样的见解。
又是一个婉转的句子，展示其客观性。
4、There are different opinions among people as to。。。关于……人们的观点大不相同。
“different”虽拉低了水准，但“as to”又拯救了回来。
5、Different people hold different attitudes toward (failure)。对(失败)人们的态度各不相同。
这句话貌似亮点不多，顶多一个“hold”，但也是安全牌，容易理解。
得出最终结论的万能模板：
1、Taking all these factors into consideration， we naturally e to the conclusion that。。。把所有这些因素加以研究，我们自然会得出结论……
很完全的答法，“take sth into consideration”短语的应用，加分。
2、Taking into account all these factors， we may reasonably e to the conclusion that。。。研究所有这些因素，我们可能会得出合理的结论……
“Take into account sth”短语似乎又比上句的“take sth into consideration”提升了一个层次。
3、HenceTherefore， we'd better e to the conclusion that。。。所以，自然我们得出以下结论。。。
“Hence”一词用在文章中大气吧，但别平时口语中用，否则即使老外也用一种看老古董的眼神看你。。。
再特意提一句：“we'd better”在那里不是“不得不”或“最好”的意思，而是一种自然而然，水到渠成的得出结论。
4、There is no doubt that (job-hopping) has its drawbacks as well as merits。毫无疑问，跳槽有优点也有缺点。
短语“there is no doubt that”上线，同时运用我们的老朋友“as well as”增加看点。
5、All in all， we cannot live without。。。 But at the same time we must try to find out new ways to cope with the problems that would arise。总之，我们没有……是无法生活的。但同时，我们必须寻求新的解决办法来对付可能出现的新问题。
这句话一般用于作文结尾，属万能句式，句式较为简单，方便操作。
提出最终提议的万能模板：
1、It is high time that we put an end to the (trend)。该是我们停止这一趋势的时候了。
“It is high time” 打头，为该句增色。注：that 后跟虚拟语气，后跟动词的一般过去式，表示“是某人做。。。的时候了”或者“是某人不做。。。的时候了”
2、It is time to take the advice of 。。。 and to put special emphasis on the improvement of 。。。该是采纳……的提议，并对……的进展给予十分重视的时候了。
去掉一个“high”，画风完全不一样，不用过去式，只需用“to do”来替代。
3、There is no doubt that enough concern must be paid to the problem of 。。。毫无疑问，对……问题应予以足够的重视。
“there is no doubt that”+被动还是蛮经典的组合。
4、Obviously，。。。。 If we want to do something。。。 ， it is essential that。。。显然，如果我们想做某事，我们需要……
这句有些老生常谈，稍微不“常”的就是“essential” 替代了“important”。
5、Only in this way can we。。。 仅有这样，我们才能。。。
Only+倒装，经典万能句式，还能看出点水平呢。
6、It must be realized that。。。 我们必须意识到。。。
把人人都会的“I realized”升格为被动语态，省略了主语，监考教师绝对会眼前一亮的!

In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old.
He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20_, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. 其次，就是英语学习需要耐心，需要持之以恒，相信自己，坚持就是胜利。想要靠临时突击，临时抱佛脚的做法不可取也不可行。
比如有一段时间，一个学生学英语很认真，但考试成绩进步不大，他就会灰心丧气，“老师，为什么我这么努力学英语，成绩还是上不去”，我就告诉他，英语是一个慢热的过程，是一个慢慢积累的过程，同时我认为学习英语的过程也是一个吸收别人长处，更新的过程！你只有脚踏实地，慢慢来，才会把它学好。孩子们，你们有信心吗？不能让我失望哦！
我确信：

首先非常感谢大家能从百忙中抽空来参加今天的家长会。我是新担任三年级英语的老师。非常盼望着与您交流，共同探讨孩子成才的问题。大家都知道，我们的学生在小学毕业考时是要参加英语考试的，并且英语成绩也是各重点中学录取学生的一个重要参考。另外，由于中学里已经开始使用与小学英语课本相配套的教材，小学英语基础的好坏也就直接对中学里的继续学习产生很大的影响，因此，我们的学生从现在起就必须认真学习，打好基础。
下面我简单地介绍一下本次英语期中考试的情况。一些同学成绩考得还不错，可是绝大部分还不是很好。也可能是因为换老师的原因。不过家长们不用担心，英语是这学期新加的课，孩子需要时间来适应新的语言不是那么容易，在以后的日子里我会努力帮助他们来学习好这门课。
三年级英语是起始阶段，学习英语的习惯很多是依靠这一学年来养成的。有些五六年级学生感叹自己听不懂或不能很好认读，就是因为在三四年级时没有好的基础造成的，这时候去补就比较困难了。要学好英语，除了课堂要认真听以外，还需要课后的努力巩固。由于是外语学习，光依靠一周二课时是很不够的。孩子必须在家及时对课堂的新授内容及时巩固。因为课堂是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。本学期英语学习的内容：
1、每单元后面都有单词，这就要同学们回家去复习，消化这些单词。词汇是三年级考试的重要内容，一定要过关。

3、听力训练：试卷中听力题的比重占三分之二。所以说每天的听录音跟读任务还是不容忽视的。4.配套的基础训练，课堂作业本和平时小测验。在学校老师会尽最大的努力进行教学，但课余时间还需要广大家长大力配合。
为了协助孩子更好地学好英语，请家长配合老师完成以下工作：有磁带的同学一定要听磁带，每天15分钟。没有磁带的同学一定要大声的读课文，读出来是很重要的，家长要鼓励孩子每天大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己，也有利于他人纠正自己的错误。背单词是难点，重点，希望家长能都督促一下，单词是慢慢积累下来的，一天背5个单词，一年下来就是1825个单词，多么可观的数字，所以家长一定督促孩子记单词，单词不会就和咱们汉语里不会汉字一样，将寸步难行。

二.发言稿的写作技巧与方法指导 发言稿是生活中一种常见的应用文体，是参加会议的人为了在会议上表达自己的意见、看法、进行思想汇报或工作情况汇报而事先准备好的文稿。英文开幕词、闭幕词、欢迎词、欢送词、告别词和演讲稿是正式社交场合最常见的发言稿。（1）格式
发言稿一般由称呼语、正文和结束语三部分组成。发言稿的开头和结尾一般有固定的格式。例如：（见屏幕）dear friends，i am very glad to introduce muself to you„„that’s all.thank you.dear friends，today i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of„„that’s all.thank you for listening。
如果面对的是熟悉的听众，开头和结尾也可以活泼些、灵活些 例如:（见屏幕）

发言稿正文常分为三部分：

（2）条理要清晰。一篇发言稿要谈几方面的问题，每一方面有那些要点要进行阐述，都要安排得有条有理，让人听起来容易抓住重点。
（3）适当增加关联词和细节。发言稿开头于结尾已经给出。那么在命题形式上侧重于 考查发言稿正文的写法，所以我们在根据要点组织正文内容时，可以适当增加关 联词和细节，以使短文连贯、完整。
（4）语言要简洁明快，发言时因为要直接面对听众，所以发言稿的特定形式决定了其 语言的口语性强，因此应少用复杂句，多用简单句。话说的要准确、易懂，最好 运用大众语言。所以我们在组织句子时要注意“三多一少”即简单句式多，祈使 句多、情态动词多，修饰性词语少。但文中的句型也要善于变化，不要过于单一。
