通过该课程的学习,学生能够了解酒店的基本情况和服务要求,学会与之相关的英语语汇和表达方式。通过对学生进行模拟酒店特定情境完成交际任务的语言训练,提高英语交际技能等,为英语专业课的学习奠定基础。

二、课程教学对象、目的和要求

该课程的开始适合英语专业的二年级学生。

五、考核

该门课程为考查。成绩为100分制,学生总评成绩取决于学生的出勤情况、课堂参与、课后作业和期末考试成绩,其中出勤占10%、课堂参与和课后作业占40%;期末考试占50%。考试采用教师提问、角色扮演、情景模拟等口语形式考察学生对以酒店英语的掌握情况。

作业:

本门课是一堂知识应用性极强的课程。因此,每一次课后要求学生对所学的知识进行模拟操练。并在第二次上课时组织对前一次课的检查,加强理解和应用。
