Nowadays, the relationship between man and nature is not as harmonies as before.Man’s unreasonable activities cause series of environmental problems, like acid rain, the greenhouse effect, soil erosion, droughts etc.In my view, we shouldn’t develop our economy at the expense of nature.We must take some active actions to protect our environment.First of all we’d better plan more trees, reduce waste.Secondly we have to reduce the number of vehicles in the streets of our cities。Lastly, we have to reduce the pollution that factories are causing.In a word, We must deal with a good relationship between environmental protection and economic development.3.How has technology made our life easier? In my opinion, I think work first and then postgraduate education is more rational.In this way, one person can come into contact with varies kinds of work and gain a lot of practical experiences,broaden his horizon and have a general impression of knowledge that mentioned in books.After work ,he would konw what he should learn , when he review or learn knowledge points that refers to what he had experienced, it will be easier for him to full awareness contents of books.Besides, it’s also a good chance to learn new ways to do his work better.Generally speaking, I think it’s a better way to combine theory with practice, and benefit one’s growing best.6.Nowadays finding a job is not easy, which involves such factors as job hunters’ experience, ability, diploma, personality and so on.As for the ability and diploma, which do you think plays the more important role in securing a job?
I think ability is more important for the job interview.Though diploma is also necessary for a job interview, ability is the key point.Whether you can manage the job you applicate and whether you can handle things wellall depend on your ability.If you only own a good diploma but no ability , what is the use of employing you?
Even though having a high education qualification, after entering the coporation, if you can't accomplish the appointed tasks, in another words, you haven't the ability to finish your work, then your manager will still fire you without hesitation.A diploma is a piece of paper which establishes your education degree.But your true ability and the real knowledge come from your hard work.If you got a diploma by dishonest behavior, no matter how high a diploma it is, it were just a piece of paper, and you were as blank as that paper.so,dont value diploma too high, you should develop and improve

一学期快结束了，英语口语协会的活动在这一学期中也将画上句号。半年的社团工作中，我们经历了风风雨雨，我们在经历挫折与失败的同时也获得了成功。本协会以“服从领导，团结同学，提高英语口语，丰富校园文化生活”为准则，认真完成了各项工作任务，现将本学期的工作情况汇报如下：
一、本学期活动
本学期，我们协会举办了各种有益的活动，像英语角、播放原声版电影、希望之星英语风采大赛。在希望之星英语风采大赛中，我们邀请了8位老师做评委，他们本着公平、公正的原则为选手们打分点评，使每位选手都赛出了水平，赛出了实力。在播放电影中，我们协会能够坐在一起商讨，最大可能的为同学们播放有益且能够缓解同学们学习压力的经典影片。
二、活动目的英语协会是一个学术性的协会，大多数同学加入我们协会最直接的目地就是提高自己的英语水平，而本协会能够提供这样一个平台，让同学们学习、交流。我们协会尽可能多的给予同学们锻炼和展示的自我平台，让同学们融入到活动轻松、愉快的氛围当中，在无形当中提高同学们的英语水平。
