The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know.I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.I turned around to find a wrinkled，little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.She said，“Hi handsome.My name is Rose.I' m eighty－seven years old.Can I give you a hug？”I laughed and enthusiastically responded，“Of course you may.”and she gave me a giant squeeze.“Why are you in college at such a young，innocent age？”I asked.She jokingly replied，“I'm here to meet a rich husband，get married，have a couple of children，and then retire and travel.”“No，seriously？”I asked.I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.“I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one.”she told me.After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milk shake We became instant friends.Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop.I was always mesmerized listening to this“time machine”as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.Over the course of the year，Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went.She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed up her from the other students.She was living it up.At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet.I'll never forget what she taught us.She was introduced and stepped up to the podium.As she began to deliver her prepared speech，she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said，“I'm sorry I'm so jittery.I gave up beer for Lent(一种威士忌的牌子)and this whisky is killing me.I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just t ell you what I know.” As we laughed she cleared her throat and began：“We do not stop playing because we are old；we grow old because we stop playing.There are only four secrets to staying young，being happy，and achieving success.”

第二个故事是我的一个朋友讲的：一个十来岁的男孩，放学经过菜市场时，没头没脑地抢了肉贩一块肉就跑。健壮的肉贩没费一点力气就抓住了男孩，夺回肉，抢过书包，扔下一句话：“叫家里大人来。”天黑后，男孩跟在母亲身后来了。母亲一见肉贩就不停地说对不起。母亲的泪掉下来。她艰难地说：“实在是我们没把孩子教好……可是他已经大半年没吃过肉了。他以前不是坏孩子，就原谅他这一次吧！”肉贩竖着的眉头一下子就掉了下来。他拿起刀，割下一大块肉，然后弯腰从案板下拎出书包，双手递给悲伤的母亲。母亲木然地接过，说：“谢谢！”牵着孩子的手，蹒跚地走了。回到家里，母亲用这块肉做了顿香喷喷的晚餐，久病的父亲还饮了半杯酒，后来，他们全家携手来到楼顶，纵身一跃……
我常常想，支持我们在绝望中一次次活下去的理由，究竟是什么？平庸的人说是本能，善良的人说是责任，坚强的人说是信念；我则以为是自尊——不是为了丧失了自尊就选择去死的自尊，我的自尊是为了不死，努力地活，哪怕水深火热！
妥协和绝望是人类的致命顽疾。而摧毁一个家庭的有力武器，是摧毁这个家庭母亲的意志。母亲不妥协，这个家就不会完，母亲不绝望，这个家就还有希望。假如父亲是梁的话，母亲就是墙，母亲这堵墙塌了，一个家也就垮了。

习惯了六点半那声尖锐而锋利的闹钟声。

我总是反反复复地希望时间能快点流逝，过后又反反复复地希望能有时光机载着我回到当初的美好。
这是什么烂对比。
闲下来的时候总怀念当初在学校的繁忙，而繁忙的时候又殷切的盼望听到今晚台风，所以在家自习之类的器械广播声。
像看一场廉价的电影，因为剧情太过无聊，中途睡着了，等醒过来时已经散场。出来后又觉得对不起那张电影票，懊恼又纠结的回了家。
你还是忙点好呀。黑掩面钻了出来。
不，还是闲点好！白也出来了。
于是，他们俩四目相怒地打了起来。
韩寒说，人生就是一面墙，而我们是一只猫，只有在墙上留下鲜艳的抓痕，才能越过这面高墙。
