关于举办昌吉学院第九届英语口语大赛的通知
为进一步丰富大学校园生活,同时为加强和改进我院学风建设,激发全院学生学习英语的热情,提高全院学生英语整体水平,学院团委决定将举办昌吉学院第九届英语演讲大赛,现将有关事宜通知如下:
一、组织机构

二、参赛对象及报名时间
凡昌吉学院在校学生,均可报名参加。竞赛分大学英语组和专业英语组两个组分别进行。初赛各系院(专业组外语系各英语专业班级)至少推荐8名选手。大学英语组和专业英语组进入复赛的选手人数各为12-15人。
各系院接此通知后请于3月29日前将参加初赛的选手名单报外语系学生工作办公室,逾期不报者按弃权处理。
三、竞赛办法
本次大赛由初赛和复赛组成。
初赛部分:
专业组初赛选手于3月28日下午8:00在新校区1416教室、大学英语组新校区及老校区选手于4月初接受院团委及外语系公外教研室的审核,最终确定进入复赛的名单。专业英语组由院团委及外语系专业教研室负责选拔进入复赛的选手。
复赛部分:
复赛将于2013年4月中旬进行,分大学英语组和专业英语组分别进行两场比赛。评委将由外语系外籍教师及外语系教师担任。
四、本次大赛的复赛由三部分组成:
1、定题演讲:此部分的主题内容为Thesmilebehindthetear参赛选手可以围绕主题内容自拟题目。此部分英语专业组占总分的70%,大学
英语组占总分的30%。演讲时间为3分钟(正负10秒以内,否则扣0.5-1分)。
2、即兴演讲:大赛组委会将组织外语系英语专业教师设计题目,题目采用看图说话、名人名言评论等形式。赛题严格保密。复赛时,由选手提前15分钟准备。此部分占总分的40%,演讲时间为3分钟。
3、回答问题:由1名中国籍英语教师和1名外籍英语教师负责就定题演讲或即兴演讲的内容提问,每个问题给30秒的准备时间,回答时间控制在1分钟之内。此部分占总分的30%。
4、第二部分仅适用于专业英语组。
要求:
1)内容:主题鲜明,与小标题相符,内容清楚、结构清晰、中心突出,合理展开、阐释充分、证据相关、逻辑性强,内容生动、吸引人、不枯燥、能抓住观众注意力。
2)语言:应使用地道的英语。语言准确(发音清晰,音调、音高合适,选词用词准确、相关),语言流利(连读、词重音、句重音、语调、节奏等准确、适中)
3)技巧:幽默感(不能是哑剧式的幽默或调侃,不能使用道具),注意手势,眼神接触和身体语言,自信,有感情与气势;适当使用修辞手段(比喻、类比等)。
定题演讲部分要求参赛选手的稿子必须是自写稿(若发现演讲中摘抄部分超过全篇讲稿的25%以上者,将最少扣5分)。所有参赛选手必须在2013年4月10日之前将两份演讲稿(A4纸,正文为小四号字体)由各系辅导员交至外语系学生工作办公室。演讲稿上须注明参赛选手的系、室、班级、组别以及指导老师的姓名及选手5寸全身照片一张(生活艺术照皆可)。否则,复赛成绩将被扣除5分。
注:
1、3月29日大学英语组初赛报名截止,请各系在此日期前将报名名单用附件以Excel表格形式发送至邮箱1486731067@qq.com,并填好相关信息(姓名、系别、班级、宿舍号、联系方式、指导老师)逾期不报者,按弃权处理。
2、4月9日星期二下午8:00在新校区1302举办新校区各系公外组初赛,4月11日星期四下午6:00在老校区教室举办老校区各系公外组初赛。
五、奖励
本次竞赛 设“昌吉学院英语演讲大赛”大学英语组和专业英语组一等奖各1名、二等奖各2名、三等奖各3名,优秀奖若干名。对获得一、二、三等奖的选手将颁发荣誉证书,并给予一定的物质奖励。

EXPO-Focus on the future life As we all know, about half a month later, the world EXPO will be held in the international and modern city—shanghai.On the exhibition, many advanced technologies will be showed.I think the most exciting thing will be the robots.Some experts told the journalists that during the EXPO a lot of robots will be demonstrated to the public, some of which can tell you the exact location where you want to go, and this small facility can identify 15 languages.People must be surprised at them, I think.You know what?(This a native sentence)Some scientists predict that in the near future, robots will become an essential part of our daily life.Can you imagine how wonderful life will be if you have a very intelligent robot in your daily life? Indeed(As a matter of fact, The truth is), it’s really hard to imagine.I suppose some of you must have seen the famous film < I Robot>, I think the robots in the near future will be just like those in the film.To some degree(in some sense), we can say that robots can liberate us from the dull work, like doing
housework.You do not need to worry about their working efficiency, and you do not need to worry if the robots will be tired.Robots are not afraid of doing such things repeatedly.In the future, there won’t be any workers working on the street.That is to say, hopefully, robots can do jobs such as sweeping the streets, removing the dustbins instead of workers, so that we can save more hands to do other things.In conclusion, the World-expo will bring us an eye feast, an encyclopedia of advanced technolgies, which will consequently convenience our life in a tremendous way.Trust me, robots are not merely our dreams or fantasies, they will create a totally different miracle.Thank you, the World-expo, and thank those who have made great contributions to the development of advanced technologies.That’s all!Thank you.(Thanks for your attention)

关于举行全市小学英语口语大赛的通知
各镇街(矿区)教育办公室,市直各小学:
为提高全市小学英语教师的综合素质,增强英语教师的课堂教学口语表达能力,培养学生的基本英语素养和初步形成用英语与他人进行交流的能力,经研究,决定举办全市小学英语口语大赛。采取教师组和学生组同时分别进行比赛的形式,现将有关事宜通知如下:
一、参赛对象
全市小学所有英语教师(含英语教研员)和学生。
二、比赛内容
参赛教师和学生可以从以下几个方面任选一题,也可以结合自己的实际情况自拟题目,演讲时间为3分钟。
教师选题参考:
1、My dreams , Chinese dream;2.My amateur life.3.My low-carbon life;4.Make my students love English;5.How to make my class active and interactive; 6.My hobby.学生选题参考: 1.My dreams.2.My family/my friends/my teachers… 3.I like reading/writing… 4.My hobby/ my study…
5.Tell a story.三、时间安排
1、第一阶段(11月28 日—12 月5日),镇街(矿区)各小学、市直小学各级部组织评选。
2、第二阶段(12月8日—12月12日),参与第一阶段评选并获得第一名的选手参加镇街(矿区)、市直小学评选。
3、第三阶段(12月15日—12月19日),各单位参与第二阶段评选并获得第一名的选手在实验小学桃花源校区参加决赛。
四、比赛程序
比赛分教师、学生两组同时进行;每组比赛分两部分依次进行。
(一)教师组:
第一部分即兴演讲。教师就自选话题进行演讲,时间3分钟; 第二部分定题演讲。教师抽取一个固定话题进行课堂教学设计,现场模拟教学演讲,时间3分钟(共6分钟)。
(二)学生组:
第一部分即兴演讲,就自选话题进行演讲,时间3分钟; 第二部分回答问题,评委就参赛选手所选话题现场提两个问题,选手回答每个问题的时间不超过1分钟。
注意事项:演讲稿由教师自己创作,禁止从网上下载;决赛选手的参赛号和抽取课题均由抽签决定,所抽到的号码或话题为最终结果,不得与任何人交换;演讲稿(附译文)交给评委收回,不得带出演讲室;比赛结束后,参赛师生要把演讲稿电子版发到教研室邮箱fcjysnam@126.com;参赛选手采取流水演讲形式,一次性完成,不重复进演讲室。
五、评分细则:比赛采取10 分制。
(1)演讲内容(3 分):要求紧扣主题,观点鲜明,内容生动,格调积极向上,有真情实感;
(2)语言表达(3 分):要求脱稿演讲,语言规范,口齿清晰,语音、语调优美标准,感情充沛,语言生动流畅,感染力强;
(3)形象风度(2 分):要求衣着得体,举止大方,表情自然,能灵活运用语速、手势等演讲技巧;
(4)综合印象(1 分):由评委根据选手的临场表现做出综合素质评价。
(5)时间恰当(1 分):演讲不得超时,超时者酌情扣分。
六、奖项设置
依据比赛成绩,分别设一等奖12人,二等奖8人。根据学生比赛成绩相应设立教师指导奖,每单位一名。
