As we known, there is a lot of holidays in every country, especially in China.You see,the new year is coming,2009.And the first holiday of 2009 is the New Year’s Day.So, I want to give my best wishes to you and a “Happy New Year!”

Well, when I’ve got this topic, I remember a holiday at once, that is the Children’s Day——the Children’s Day last year.Why? Because there is really something impressed me.那么,当我有这个问题,我记得度假一次,这是儿童节-在儿童节去年。为什么?由于实在的东西我留下深刻的印象。

Out of our surprise, when the celebration began, lots of children rushed to our place and asked for playing the game.There was a long line.The music played and played, children happily came and went.But time was limited.40 minutes later, we had to declare game over.At that time, I saw a little boy who didn’t want to leave, when we said to him the game was over again, he even cried.So, I let him play again.And he got the last toy.When I gave the prize to him, he smiled and said “ Thank you, teacher.” I felt so satisfied and because of the smile I wasn’t tired at all.在我们的惊讶,当庆祝活动开始时,许多儿童送往我们的位置,并要求玩游戏。有一长排。音乐比赛和发挥,孩子高兴地来了又走了。但时间是有限的。40分钟后,我们不得不宣布比赛结束。在那个时候,我看到了一个小男孩,谁不想离开,当我们对他说,比赛是一次又一次,他甚至哭了起来。所以,我让他再上场比赛。他拿到了最后的玩具。当我给他的奖金,他笑着说: “谢谢你,老师。”我觉得很满意,因为我是微笑不累的。

I’m proud of being a teacher
Wenyang Central Primary SchoolWu Jianjian Dear ladies and gentlemen,It’s my honor to stand here to make a speech.My topic today is “I’m proud of being a teacher”.This summer I was lucky to take part in the summer English training for primary school of Feicheng.One of my foreign teachers T.J.impressed me deeply.Every morning and afternoon before classes,he always asked us to say “Teachers are the greatest profession in the world.”It influenced me very deeply.To be a teacher may be not a good job,but I don’t regret my choice.I always remembered a message from one of my students.It happened on a spring festival.The student made rapid progress in the final examination.He sent me a message.He said,“Dear Ms Wu,you treated me like my mother.Without your help,I could not make so much progress.Thanks for your help.I love you forever,Ms Wu.May you be happy every day.”I was excited to receive the message.In my opinion,I just encouraged him often and taught him some learning methods.But it helped him a lot.From it,I knew my choice of being a teacher was right.I’m proud of being a teacher.So, in my opinion, we teachers must pay more attention and patience to children and above all——love them.If you give a little love to
children,you will get back a great deal.So,I will try my best to put all my heart and soul in the teaching.I’ll regard every student as my own child.Because I’m a teacher.Teachers are the greatest profession in the world.I’m proud of being a teacher.That’s all.Thank you.

关于举行全市小学英语口语大赛的通知
各镇街(矿区)教育办公室,市直各小学:
为提高全市小学英语教师的综合素质,增强英语教师的课堂教学口语表达能力,培养学生的基本英语素养和初步形成用英语与他人进行交流的能力,经研究,决定举办全市小学英语口语大赛。采取教师组和学生组同时分别进行比赛的形式,现将有关事宜通知如下:
一、参赛对象
全市小学所有英语教师(含英语教研员)和学生。
二、比赛内容
参赛教师和学生可以从以下几个方面任选一题,也可以结合自己的实际情况自拟题目,演讲时间为3分钟。
教师选题参考:
1、My dreams , Chinese dream;2.My amateur life.3.My low-carbon life;4.Make my students love English;5.How to make my class active and interactive; 6.My hobby.学生选题参考: 1.My dreams.2.My family/my friends/my teachers… 3.I like reading/writing… 4.My hobby/ my study…
5.Tell a story.三、时间安排
1、第一阶段(11月28 日—12 月5日),镇街(矿区)各小学、市直小学各级部组织评选。
2、第二阶段(12月8日—12月12日),参与第一阶段评选并获得第一名的选手参加镇街(矿区)、市直小学评选。
3、第三阶段(12月15日—12月19日),各单位参与第二阶段评选并获得第一名的选手在实验小学桃花源校区参加决赛。
四、比赛程序
比赛分教师、学生两组同时进行;每组比赛分两部分依次进行。
(一)教师组:
第一部分即兴演讲。教师就自选话题进行演讲,时间3分钟; 第二部分定题演讲。教师抽取一个固定话题进行课堂教学设计,现场模拟教学演讲,时间3分钟(共6分钟)。
(二)学生组:
第一部分即兴演讲,就自选话题进行演讲,时间3分钟; 第二部分回答问题,评委就参赛选手所选话题现场提两个问题,选手回答每个问题的时间不超过1分钟。
注意事项:演讲稿由教师自己创作,禁止从网上下载;决赛选手的参赛号和抽取课题均由抽签决定,所抽到的号码或话题为最终结果,不得与任何人交换;演讲稿(附译文)交给评委收回,不得带出演讲室;比赛结束后,参赛师生要把演讲稿电子版发到教研室邮箱fcjysnam@126.com;参赛选手采取流水演讲形式,一次性完成,不重复进演讲室。
五、评分细则:比赛采取10 分制。
(1)演讲内容(3 分):要求紧扣主题,观点鲜明,内容生动,格调积极向上,有真情实感;
(2)语言表达(3 分):要求脱稿演讲,语言规范,口齿清晰,语音、语调优美标准,感情充沛,语言生动流畅,感染力强;
(3)形象风度(2 分):要求衣着得体,举止大方,表情自然,能灵活运用语速、手势等演讲技巧;
(4)综合印象(1 分):由评委根据选手的临场表现做出综合素质评价。
(5)时间恰当(1 分):演讲不得超时,超时者酌情扣分。
六、奖项设置
依据比赛成绩,分别设一等奖12人,二等奖8人。根据学生比赛成绩相应设立教师指导奖,每单位一名。

Although our city Yancheng develops much faster and better, as we all know,the environment around us is getting worse and worse.For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories.Trees have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Some people even have no clean water to drink.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly dropped.So I think we must do something to protect the environment.What can we do to protect our environmemt? I think we should do the followings.First, it’s best to ride a bike to school.We’d better not take a bus or a taxi.Second, we should remember to turn off the lights when we leave the classroom.Third, in our free time, we can collect the empty bottles and waste paper for recycling.The fourth idea is turning off the shower when we’re not using it.Last, we had better not cut down the trees, we have to take care of the trees.I’m sure everyone can make a difference to the environment and make our city more and more beautiful.
