第一篇:英语演讲稿 Yes, we can
Yes, we can
This is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady.Lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye. These are words of the song Bye-Bye.Every time when I hear it, I’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 2008.The snow storm, the Tibet issue, the obstruction to the Olympic torch relay, the earthquake……Time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake
occurred in Sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families.I’ll never forget those days I sat front of the TV, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive.I’ll never forget those days most newspapers and websites were all in black and white.I’ll never forget those days I had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people. At the same time, I also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on China and the fight against the Tibetan separatists.I can still remember the day when I went to see the torch relay at Hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek.I wore the T-shirt with words Light the Passion, Light the Dream. When the torch passed by, we cheered Go China, Go Beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping. It was the opening ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human Yes, we can.Yes, we can, because we are united and brave
Yes, we can because we have trust and love
Yes, we can because we are the member of the great nation China

Yes, I can!
Yes, I can!Hello, everyone.I’m Crystal.I’m 13 years old.Once, the American President Obama said in his speech: “Yes, we can!” Today, on this stage, I also want to say “Yes, I can!” Let’s share a story. There is an 11-year-old Chinese boy who decided to speak English fluently at his age of 4.Nobody believed he could do that because he was not able to know 26 letters at that time. His parents didn’t know English, either. However, he succeeded in speaking English fluently after two years of learning and practicing.More than that, he also helped over 20 thousand foreign visitors with his English on the Great Wall.It was really a miracle for him.He met great difficult in doing that.In 2008, his family was in a great debt of more than 2 million yuan.He was hardly able to afford his educational fees. However, the parents did everything to help him make his dream come true. They ate only Chinese cabbages and potatoes to save money to buy books. He was moved by his parents’ supporting, and decided to hold on his dream to make his parents happy.Sometimes we may stop our dream for many kinds of reasons. But think of the boy, only action can tell the truth.Who knows what will happen in the future!Just do as you decided! And never forget “Yes, I can!”
第四篇:初三英语演讲比赛演讲稿-Yes, We can
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.I’m glad to be here to give you my speech called ‘ Yes, we can.’
If we want to say ‘yes, we can’, we must know what things we need to do first.Just like to me, it’s my duty and honour to make it a good speech for you.I believe I can.We need to know more meaningful things. For example, the 35th President of United States, J.F.Kennedy, said this in his inaugural speech: ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.’ Can we do more for our society? Yes, we can.We can make it a better world through our hard work.I n Barack Obama’s victory speech, he told a story about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta.Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.She was born just a generation past slavery, a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky;when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons, BECause she was a woman and BECause of the color of her skin. This reminds me of Martin Luther King’s well-known speech—I have a dream. He said, ‘I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”’And now, it’s the 21st century.A man has touched down on the
moon. The Cold War has been ended. An African-American is chosen to be the next president of USA.Can Martin Luther King’s dream come true? Sadly, it can’t at the present. But, if we do our best, can our dream o of peace, liberty and equality come true in the future? Yes, we can.We need change and we can change the world and ourselves. We are sure, yes we canBelieve that if we do our best, we can say it in a fantastic voice—
‘ Yes, we can.’
Thank you.
