May I use the bathroom?
Can you direct me to the restroom?
chapter.2
May I join you?
I'm going out to lunch.Would you like
to join me?
想问别人是否能一起去,除了用:May I join you? Would you mind if I join you?
chapter.3
Can I come and see you? Can I come and see you now?
I come and see you。
chapter.4
May I ask a favor of you? Would you do me a favor?又或者是:Would youmind helping me?
Will you do me a favor? Do me a favor,will you?
I need your help very badly。
后,你可以跟对方说:You're my lifesaver。
chapter.5
You
或者是:No kidding!
成:You must be joking! 或者是:It's unbelievable。
真的对她说:No,I'm serious。
chapter.6
I know how you feel。 如果对方是比较熟悉的朋友,你可以说:I feel for you。 If there is anything I can
do for you, please let me know。
I'm sorry
to hear that。 或者可以说:That's too bad。
I know how you feel。
chapter.7
Thank you.I'd like to.
I'd like to之后其实是省略了内容,原来的意思应该是Thank you.I'd like to go to the concert。 其实还有别的说法,简单些的说法是:Thank you.I would.或者是:Yes,I would. Thank you.I'd like to very much.她为了加强语气所以在I'd like to后加上very much这两个字。除了用Thank you.I'd like to.
pleasure.
chapter.8
Thank you
for asking me.
Well, thank you for asking me andway and please ask me again.
Thank you for asking me.chapter.9
盐时,你可以说:Please pass the salt。
Would you pass the salt, please? Would you mind passing the salt?
Would you pass the salt?
chapter.10
chapter.11
I'm afraid I won't
be able to come.
I'm afraid I won't be able to come. I'm afraid I won't be able to go.
chapter.12
I'm afraid I won't be able to come.
Let's make it some other time. I'll take a rain check on it.rain check这个字意思是雨天换票证,当一些表演或者比赛因为下雨的关系要延迟,主办方会
Let's make it some other time,通常男孩吃柠檬的时候都会听到女孩说Let's make it some other time,下
chapter.13
Would you leave me alone?
Please give me some space.
chapter.14
Do you mind if I smoke?
