教学内容:
本课时教材中的Let's learn部分主要是学习关于头部各部位的单词: head, eye, face , ear, nose, mouth。Let's do部分则是融活动与复习巩固为一体,通过TPR(Total Physical Response)活动练习并运用所学的词汇。设计理念:
本节课是人教版小学英语三年级的教学内容,在日常生活中,我们最熟悉的莫过于自己的身体各部位,如何让学生学会用英语来表达自己的身体各部位是本单元所要学习的教学内容。通过学生学会用英语来表达自己的身体部位,发展他们的语言表达能力,同时进一步培养他们的语言综合运用能力。鉴于本课词汇的特点及学生现有知识水平,我准备引导学生听、看、读、想、说来逐步引导学生学会表达自己的身体部位,发展学生的语言思维和运用能力。同时,多表扬、勤鼓励,使不同层次的学生都有学习积极性,在知识上均有所提高。
教学目标:

5、用Powerpoint 制作的头部及五官课件。
教学过程:
1. 上课一开始,现场一首英文歌《Hello》.然后让学生进行日常口语训练:教师先示范自我介绍good morning!/nice to meet you./ hello!I’m Miss Du.What’s your name? 然后让学生进行自我介绍。.热身活动listen and act,教师说:open your pencil-case.closeyour books.„让学生做出动作。
设计意图:提高对知识的再现率,为学习新知识埋下伏笔。同时,通过课前的对话,热身活动,活跃了课堂气氛,调动了学生的学习兴趣,使课堂教学以轻松活泼的形式开始。
(二).新课呈现
1.教师出示Zoom头部图说:Look, this is our friend, Zoom.引导学生打招呼。教师假装侧耳听Zoom讲话:Zoom说他今天想教大家认识他的五官,你们愿意吗?
教师依次出示head,face, ear,nose,mouth,eye这几个五官部位,结合身体语言,逐个呈现这几个新单词。然后分别采用升降调教师逐个带读这几个新单词,再指名让学生读一读。每教一个单词,教师都要示范拼读单词,要求学生跟读,并把单词写在黑板上预先画好的四线格内。接着,教师领读单词,学生跟读,全班分组齐读,再采用个别或两人等不同形式让学生读一读。教师及时纠错,及时鼓励表扬。
2.单词巩固。Play a game“Which is missing?”从准备好的单词卡片中任意抽出一张,学生认读完单词,必须说出那个单词不见了,最快说出的学生将得到一个小奖品。
设计意图:用Zoom将单词引出,让学生有一种新奇的感觉,产生浓厚的兴趣,通过观察教师书写,尝试拼读单词,为以后的书写打下良好的基础,符合学生的认知规律和心理年龄特点。通过视觉观察复习单词,训练学生的快速记忆能力,调动了课堂气氛。
(三).过渡
1.教师指着自己的鼻子说:look at me.This is my nose。然后板书look at me。This is my„,让学生一起读一读。接着问学生:where is your nose? Canyoutell me?引导鼓励学生试着说一说自己的五官look at me.This is my nose/eye/„。并强调my, your的含义。
2.听录音,Let’s learn的词汇,要求学生指读,做到“眼到、口到、手到、心到”。
设计意图:语言教学要贯彻整体性原则,“句不离词,词不离句!”单词教学应放到句子中教学,对话中教学,让学生学会应用新知。
3.let’s do教师发指令:open your mouth.Closeyoureyes.show me your nose„让学生做一做,然后教师左手摸头的动作:Guess, What am I doing?教读“touch”,辅助动作加以理解。自然引入let’s do :touch your head/face/ear/nose/ mouth/eye。听录音,跟做相应动作。
设计意图:let’s do既可以活跃课堂气氛,又是对本节课重点教学内容的巩固练习。在学生充分掌握生词的基础上,教师运用体态语示范新动作,引导学生对指令作出正确反应。让学生全身心参与到活动中来,培养学生各种机能的协调发展。
4. game: Let’s draw
教师在黑板上准备两个没有五官的头部图,分男女两组,每次请男女生各一名,蒙眼听口令画五官,老师随意指某个部位,其余生大声说出单词,两生画出正确部位,胜利者,该组得一面小红旗。
设计意图:通过游戏及增强了记忆,又获得了快乐,同时又让学生明白了,做什么事都要认真观察,做到心中有数。
(四).拓展延伸
Make a chant.教师启发学生把单词编成儿歌来记忆,很好记又难忘,引导学生自编儿歌:头是head真聪明,耳朵ear听声音,眼睛eye看东西,鼻子nose闻气味,嘴巴mouth会说话,脸是face爱干净。
设计意图:进行此创编活动,将单词融入到儿歌,有助于学生巩固所学知识,提高学生的记忆能力,培养学生对知识的创新能力,达到学以致用的目的。

熟读本课新词。课本第16页的画五官活动。

Look at me 可加上动作,eye把e e比作眼睛,y当鼻子,形象,有助于记忆练face,加入歌曲this si my face,增加趣味性。之后将单词放在eyes and ears歌曲里操练,效果好。最后,让学生同桌练习,touch your …扩大操练面。
小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣,但不能单靠说说唱唱玩玩等简单的活动练习。因为培养兴趣主要是为学习英语,游戏活动应成为小学生学习英语语言知识的手段。因此,我们激发学生对英语的学习兴趣过程,不能只停留在课堂表面的“活”,“乐”,“玩”中。“不学习语言规则,不掌握相当的词汇,英语的应用能力就是空中楼阁”,有的同学想积极参与活动却无能为力:说明活动要能应用语言知识首先要学会掌握知识,所以活动要在掌握基础知识基础之上进行效果更好。而语言本身具有的魅力,才是学生持久学习的驱动力,才是用之不尽,取之不绝的能源。因此活动、游戏作为帮助学生学好英语的一种有效教学形式,要真正发挥其辅助教学的功能,达到寓教于乐的真正目的。
在活动教学过程中,不可回避的如何对待优中差生。我设计活动要注重面向全体学生,难度适中,让大家都参与。我根据个人素质,性格特点,记忆力,反应速度等,在心中把每个班分成三组,因材施教,分层要求,以求最有效的激励机制促学生不断上进。在激发他们的主动参与亲身实践中,培养他们的独立思考和合作探究的创新精神,实践能力,无形中调动学生的言语资料库。在实践中他们学会自我评价,由此产生的成就感又转化为无穷尽的学习后继力。
