高考英语语法要点复习教案
完形填空(cloze)又称综合填空,其命题原理是格式塔心理学。格式塔心理学强调整体感知和对从语义上的整体把握。一篇完形填空测试考生的重点和考查初衷,这与短文的空格设计密切相关。如果空格要求学生填入连词、介词、冠词等,则空格为功能性空格;如果要求填入名词、形容词、动词等实义词,则空格为语义空格。从近几年的高考试题看,完形填空以语义空格为主,语法部分的内容已经弱化为对词法的考查。完形填空的空格分为四种类型:词内项、词间项、句内项、句间项,难度是逐渐上升的。在十五道题中,平均的数量比例是2:3:5:5。
一、近年高考完形填空题的命题趋势和新题动向
1.阅读量逐年提高,阅读时间减少。
《高考考纲》要求完形填空题篇幅为一段约200-250单词的,不过自1998年起高考完形填空在词数上都超过260个单词;XX年高考完形填空题词数为274词,答题时间由原来的18分钟减少为15分钟,这在阅读难度及速度上都对考生提出了更高的要求。
2.生词量有增无减。
XX年以前的高考完形填空题中除人名、地名和部分注释词外,基本上没有生词;但从XX年开始出现大量不含汉语注释的生词,如在XX年高考完形中出现的生词:link,mountEverest,AbominableSnowman,occasion,adventure,footprint,prehistory,track等词;在XX年高考完形中的生词更是令考生料想不到的,不到300词的中竟多达10个生词,如:intelligence,auto-repair,counter,hammer,goddamned,uneasy,try...onsb.,creature等词或词组。这些生词的出现影响了阅读的速度,使学生出现理解偏差或理解困难,从而降低了答题正确率。
3.长句增多,句式灵活,结构复杂。
近几年高考完形材料在句子上突出了对行文逻辑及理解能力方面的考查,在选材上主要表现为长句、复合句增多、句子结构复杂、句式丰富多样,极大地增加了阅读难度,限制了学生的理解程度。如:

4.题目设置上单纯语法考查减少,上下文联系考查力度加大,并且以同义词、相似词为典型的迷惑选项增多
近几年《考纲》明确要求加强对考生应用能力的考查,在应用中测试考生运用英语基础知识的能力,这一点在近几年高考完形填空中得到了淋漓尽致的体现。具体体现在在题目设置上相似项增多,迷惑选项较强,考生必须通过寻找上下文隐含信息,感受语境,采用直接和排除等技巧才能找出符合题意的最佳选项。
5.完形填空的第一句都是完整的句子,并且每篇都有一个主题。
如果学生能在考试中把握到高考完形填空的这一特点,就能够对有初步的了解,树立全局意识,并且对于梳理上下文脉络,抓住的主旨也大有裨益。
二、完形填空题的解题方法和高分策略
1.语义优先于语法原则
由于的开头部分一般不设空格,而是对所选短文的题材和可能涉及的内容作简单的介绍或提示,并且单纯的语法题几乎从该题型中消失,如果一味按照语法规则来选择答案,就陷入了答题误区,因为几乎每一题的四个选项都符合语法规则;理解的大意并结合语言结构对每个空格作出正确的判断,方为上策。
2.词内选项句内找原则
从近几年的高考原题来看,近义词或词组的辨析正成为考试的热点。四个选择项要么都是词义相近的名词单数或复数,要么都是近义动词的同一时态等,只能根据上下文的语境作出正确的选择。如果提供的四个选择项词义相差悬殊,则上文或下文肯定有答题提示,有时第一个空格要读完全文才能回答。以XX年高考上海卷第一篇完形填空为例,短文开头提到农民们生活艰难,正寻求新的赚钱方式,随后就说“除了种植新品种的谷物外,还有一些赚钱方法,其中最不同寻常的就是赛羊了。”该考题为空格提供了四个选项,都是形容词性,A项是“共同的,普遍的”;c项是“灵活的”;D项是“非法的”。只有B项“奇特的”符合上下文的语境。农民不是靠种植谷物而靠赛羊来赚钱前所未闻,当然是奇特的赚钱方法了。本题当属句间项考题。
3.四遍法原则
考生正确的答题步骤应该是:首先跳过空格通读全文,了解短文的大意及的体裁,同时将一眼就看出答案的几道题答出;第二遍是答题的关键,考生应一个个地去推敲,切忌按题号顺序答题,不能确定的先跳过去,先易后难是答题原则;第三遍是通篇考虑,把一些上下文联系很强,甚至牵涉到段与段之间逻辑关系的困难空缺填好;第四遍是检查,做完后再通读一遍全文,从整体把握的意思,修正与全文不相称的选项。
三、平时的练习方法和提高途径
良好的完形填空成绩主要表现在良好的阅读习惯和良好的语法功底,有人说,“得阅读者得天下”。完形填空也不例外。培养自己良好的阅读习惯应做到:
1.要以意群,语义为单位读,不要逐词逐句地认;
2.要借助视觉扫读,不要手指唇动或无声心读;
3.要从头至尾,一气呵成,不要频繁回读;
4.要直接理解原文,不要逐词逐句地心译;
5.要利用上下文和构词法猜测生词,推测出句意,不要频繁查阅词典;
6.逐步扩大视距,要纵式快速阅读,不要横式赏析细读。
高三学生的训练量应保持在一个星期6篇题目,每次完成三篇,时间控制在每篇14分钟之内。做题之后注意总结和彻底查清单词的辨义,同时辅以必要的语法书作查缺补漏之用。完形填空题型只要经过科学的训练,相信同学们会得到长足的进步。

一、学习英语的两大难关--单词和语法
毋庸置疑,单词和语法是学习英语的两大难点。语法是构成英语的骨架,单词要考语法构架的支撑才会记牢和灵活的应用。
这里,我们只说英语语法。如果您有机会问一问学过英语的人--不论这些人是否学有所成:“你认为英语最难学的地方是什么?”答案不外呼有两个,一是单词难记,二是语法难学。“单词难记”就是“记不住”或者“记了就忘”;“语法难学”就是对各种语法现象“混淆不清”。
二、对“混淆不清”的一种测试方法
您学英语语法是否存在“混淆不清”的问题,可以采用下面的方法检测一下:

一、问:下面的句子使用了什么时态?里面be动词可不可以相互窜换哪?为什么? 如果您答对了说明您对“这些时态的概念”以及“这些时态中的be动词的用法”已经基本掌握。
1.Jhon is an actor.(一般现在时,第三人称单数)
2.They are some of the famous stars.(一般现在时,复数人称)
3.What was the most interesting stoty in this book?(一般过去时,第三人称单数)
这里提供的是一个自我检测的方法,“判断句子的时态”并问一个“为什么”,往往会收到意想不到的效果。假如您对自己的答案不确信,就说明您对英语语法的记忆和理解存在“混淆不清”问题。
三、对付“混淆不清”的方法
您应当对自己的学习成果做一个详细的记录,也就是采用记笔记的方式来加强记忆。
1.如果您是在校的学生,一定要养成记笔记的良好习惯,记笔记为了什么?只记笔记而不把他变成自己的知识等于没记,因此,这些笔记要用心背记。记笔记的另一个好处是,当“混淆不清”的情况出现的时候,就可以从中找到答案。
那么,笔记要记些什么内容哪?答案是:只要是你认为不会的东西最好都要记录下来。最后,一定要定期复习、背记笔记中的内容,比如一周。随着学习内容的增多,笔记会越来越厚,是不是到后来只在一周内复习这些内容会很困难哪?答案是“不会”。只要您坚持定期复习,就会发现实际需要特别记忆的内容会越来越少,这就是“书越看越薄”的道理。此外,随着“混淆不清”的问题的解决,还要对笔记的内容进行补充,更新,以防再忘记。
2.如果您是靠自修来学习英语,这也意味着您在学习外语的道路上会遇到更多的困难和困惑。那么首先给您的忠告是:“一定要坚持”、“坚持就会成功”。
自学的困难:遇到问题,您不能象在校的学生那样可以随时请教身边的人,大多数情况下您只能借助参考书籍来解决问题,但是很多情况下“书籍不是万能的”;
自学的困惑:当遇到问题时虽然找到了答案,但往往会“不确信”,况且,语言是一种自然形成的东西,规律(也就是语法)是人们的总结,诸多规律之外的东西并不在语法书籍上。还有,对自己的学习成果无法及时检测。
因此,建议在此教师的指导下的自学。笔者认为,自学最好要有一定的基础,因为学习语言不同于学习其他的东西,语言由于其他自然形成的特点,有很多系统、复杂的现象和规则,这些规则往往只可意会,不可言传。
那么,要有多么深厚的基础才可以自学哪?回答是,起码应当具备初中以上、比较扎实的基础。当然,这仅仅是就普遍情况而言,如果您非常聪明,或者处身与比较特殊的环境(比如旅居国外、与美国人生活在一起等等),学会说英语就很简单了。
要想学习地道的英语,每天都要做的三件事:读单词,背语法,读文章
准备工作:挑选一篇文章,根据自己的水平选择长度和难度
第一步:生词读熟,但不一定非得背会。
只背单词而不去运用,很快就会忘记,因此“读熟”以致“运用”是记忆单词的关键。
背单词最忌讳的习惯:
1.只背字母拼读而不读出声音来。如只记忆“a、u、t、u、m、n”,而不把autumn这个词读出来。
2.采用某些“速记”来背单词,搞点旁门左道。
目前有好多人采用所谓的“速记法”、“魔咒”来记忆单词,比如come“来”,后面加了一个尾巴comet就是“彗星”“来了”。
我相信上述方法会给你留下深刻的印象,几秒钟就记住了。但这只适用于“玩玩”而已,用这些方法记忆电话号码、文学、历史、地理是个不错的选择。但假如你记忆1000乃至5000个英文单词怎么办?要应付四六级考试也用这样的方法,恐怕一辈子也过不了关。
第二步:涉及的语法一定弄懂。
比如“祈使句”的规则。
1.祈使句没有主语,因为主语都是“你、你们”,故省略了。
2.祈使句都是以动词原型开头:Give me a hand,please!请帮我一把。
3.祈使句的否定都用Don’t+动词原型。Don’t touch that.别碰那个。
这些规则要“口述能详”,就是用口述的方式说出来。
第三步:至少花一个小时把这篇文章读得烂熟。
在读的过程中会:加深单词的记忆、熟悉语法的结构、培养良好的语感。培养良好的语感是地道的外语的关键。
选择一本好的英汉词典对学习英语至关重要
初中、高中的学生处于学习英语的初级阶段,因此,英汉词典是首选。目前流行的英汉词典有很多,根据中国的英语教学、升学考试的状况看,笔者首推《英华大词典》可以说《英华大词典》是真正为学习者所编写的词典。
《英华大词典》(A New English-Chinese Dictionary)原著:郑易里 曹成修。最初出版于1959年,从那时候起就一直是教师和学生们的首选。以后又经过几次修订、补充,词条丰富,解释详尽,特别适合中国学生使用。
关于“双解词典”。建议学习者在学习英语的初级阶段不要使用“双解词典”。除收录词汇量和解释不够详尽外,在你对英语的词汇、语法和语音运用还不十分熟练的情况下,“双解”基本派不上用场。
关于《牛津双解英汉词典》。目前“最流行”也是“最时髦”的词典之一,“初阶”和“中阶”都过于简单,实在不适用于中国式的“咬文嚼字”的教学和考试方式,况且,收录的词条少得可怜。而“高阶”也只适合有一定英语基础的人使用,也仅仅限于对单词的英语解释部分。
