英语小故事演讲比赛总结
为了丰富校园文化生活，进一步激发学生的英语学习热情，给学生搭建一个展示英语风采的平台，营造生动活泼的校园英语氛围，我科组于9月29日成功举行了七至九年级学生的英语故事演讲比赛活动。
经过班级海选，本次比赛共选出18位学生参加。选手们按抽签顺序逐个上台，娴熟地为评委和观众展示自己精心准备的英语故事。他们演讲的故事丰富多彩，有寓言故事、有童话故事，有现成故事的改编，也有生活体验的创作，给人以耳目一新之感。参赛选手流畅的语言，丰富的表情，自然的舞台风格，博得了评委和观众们阵阵热烈的掌声。经过激烈的角逐，本次比赛共评出了一等奖二名，二等奖三名，三等奖四名，优秀奖九名。
此次比赛，为英语优等生提供了锻炼和展示的舞台，也充分展现了我校学子的英语风采，并由此发掘了一批有潜力的学生。同学们在活动中提高了学习英语的兴趣，增强了自信心，促进了英语口语水平的提高。我们的英语故事演讲比赛虽已落下帷幕，但学生学习英语的热情不会结束。今后我们还将继续开展形式多样的英语活动，为学生的成长和发展搭建更广阔的舞台，全面提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

《用英语讲好中国故事》比赛活动发言
尊敬的各位来宾、同学们：大家下午好！
首先我代表金柳林外国语学校的全体教职员工和同学们对各位的到来表示诚挚的欢迎。
感谢组委会把的启动仪式放到金柳林学校，必将促进我校的各项工作。
我想借此机会给所有参赛的同学们讲几句话：
这个活动是一个非常难得的展示机会，是我们学习英语的好机会，是我们获得文化自信的机会，是让世界了解中国的机会，更是让中国融入世界争取发展的机会。同学们要珍惜机会，勇敢的展示自己。
金柳林秉承“东西并融、明德启智”的教育理念，致力于学科建设和核心素养“双一流”的高标准定位，作为北京外国语大学国际教育集团的实验学校，金柳林的同学们更应该把握机会，把日常所学在舞台上自信的展示。更重要的是通过这个活动深入了解我们自己的文化，深入了解我们身边发生的事，通过了解要明白自己的责任，明白国家振兴需要我们每一个人的努力，需要我们努力的读书，需要在更大的舞台去传播中国的正能量！
作为北外国际实验学校，我们的课程体系建设不仅在英语学科上非常收益，北外国际教育集团的国际化教育理念和优质教育资源的借鉴、吸收、落地的思路深深的影响着我们，使得我们在其他学科建设上也深深收益。比如我们的数学学科建设，我们学校小学国际班学生的新加坡数学课已经是全英文授课了，我们还为不同程度的学生附加了澳大利亚的思维挑战赛、张景中院士的教育数学项目，在幼儿园把德国的逻辑狗教具作为基本的训练课程，就是要给在金柳林外国语学校的学生从幼儿园开始一个非常清晰的的思维发展路线图，让所有的孩子喜欢数学、让有数学天才的学生有无限的发展可能。
相信通过此次大赛更能够激发同学们的学习英语的热情，更能够深入了解中国文化的内涵。中国文化源远流长、博大精深；中国文化属于中国，也属于世界，用英语演绎璀璨的中国文化，展现英语应用水平的同时，传承中国文化，展现文化自信。
同学们我们不仅要用英语讲中国故事，更要用英语讲好中国故事。

范雨馨代表甲，姚一凡代表乙（甲：尊敬的老师，乙：亲爱的同学们，齐：大家下午好！）
甲：在我们漫漫人生路上，什么不可丢弃？ 乙：当我们遇到艰难困苦时，什么永留身边？ 甲：它就在我们身边离我们那么近。乙：它虽在我们身边可离我们又那么远。
甲：它是我们远行方向上的灯塔，指引我们前进的方向。乙：它是我们人生道路上的挚友，伴随着我们前进。
甲：它就是清正廉洁，五（2）班“廉洁小故事比赛”主题班会活动现在开始！
乙：清政廉洁既是一个人的立身之本，也是一个集体、一个民族、一个国家的生存之基。清政廉洁的人，才能心智清明，择善而从。这些内容都跟我们息息相关。
甲：今天我们就来举行一场“廉洁小故事比赛”。参加比赛的同学有六位。选手讲故事的时间不得超过4分钟，不少于3分钟，违者扣分。如果故事能背下来，则加分。其他同学都是评委，给这六位选手投票，每位同学可以投两次票，但自己小组的选手只能投一次，我们会根据投票结果分出一二三等奖。大家都准备好了吗？比赛开始！
乙：我们小学生要讲廉洁，其实，在古时就有许多先人为我们做了好榜样。《忆江南》这首诗大家都听过吧，这首诗的作者就是大名鼎鼎的白居易，但他也做过官，想知道白居易的故事吗？请听由1号选手李炫阳为我们带来的《白居易怒打行贿人》。请2号选手周宇翔做好准备。
甲：谢谢1号选手李炫阳。我们学过一篇课文《谈礼貌》，课文中通过介绍周总理讲礼貌等故事来说明了作者的观点。周恩来曾经是我国国务院总理，他也是中国无产阶级革命家、政治家、军事家、外交家，中国共产党和中华人民共和国的主要领导人，中国人民解放军主要创建人和领导人，他在国际上也享有很高威望。接下来请听2号选手周宇翔为我们带来的《周恩来从政廉洁小故事》。并请3号选手袁逸飞做准备。（鼓掌）
乙：谢谢2号选手周宇翔。大家知道海瑞吗，他从小就有远大的志向，立志日后如果做官，就要做一个不谋取私利，不谄媚权贵，刚直不阿的好官。请听3号选手袁逸飞为我们带来的故事《廉洁的海瑞》。请4号选手陆清做好准备。
甲：谢谢3号选手袁逸飞。大家还记得《孔繁森》这篇课文吗？这篇课文介绍了孔繁森主动献血的故事。请听4号选手陆清为我们带来的《孔繁森廉洁小故事》，并请5号选手陶馨逸做好准备。
乙：谢谢4号选手陆清。大家知道卢怀慎吗？他官居宰相，但为官廉洁、举贤荐能，正直敢言，并为后人所尊。请听5号选手陶馨逸为我们带来的《唐朝宰相卢怀慎》，并请6号选手王骏晖做好准备。
乙：谢谢5号选手陶馨逸。在一年级时，我们学过一篇课文《陈毅探母》，讲述的是十大元帅陈毅探望母亲的故事。下面请听6号选手王骏晖为我们带来的《陈毅的“礼品”》。乙：谢谢6号选手王骏晖。这些官员并没有因为自己是官，而贪赃枉法，反而廉洁自律，让人佩服！我相信在座的同学们肯定也和我们有同样的感受。

甲：我们的祖国是一个有着悠久历史、灿烂文明的大国。在5000年的历史长河中，中华文化哺育着中华儿女。中华民族是一个诚实守信、勤俭节约、正直无私、自律自强的民族。清政廉洁是中华民族自古以来推崇的一种人格境界。清政廉洁是一种个人修养，也是一种道德行为。只有遵纪守法、不贪婪，才能善待父母，善待朋友。虽然这是一场比赛，但廉洁的作风将会陪伴我们一生。

第四篇：英语口语比赛小故事
The Fox and the Goat（狐狸和山羊）
One day a fox fell into a well.一天，一只狐狸失足掉到了井里。He tried to get out of it, but he couldn’t.不论他如何挣扎仍没法爬上来。Just then a goat came to the well.就在当时，一只山羊来到井边。She wanted to drink some water.她想喝水。
She looked down into the well and saw a fox there.她往井里看发现狐狸在井里。The goat said to the fox, “Is the water good?”
便问狐狸：“井水好不好喝？” “Yes, the water is good,” said the fox.狐狸说：“是的，井里的水很好喝。”
The goat jumped into the well and drank much water as she liked.山羊便不假思索地跳了下去，咕咚咕咚痛饮。After a while the goat said to the fox, “How can we get out of this well?” 一会儿之后，山羊问狐狸：“我们怎么从井里出去？”
The fox said, “Well!Put your feet on the wall.狐狸说：“你用前脚扒在井墙上。Then I jump up from your back.我从你后背跳上井去，After that I will help you out.”
再拉你上来，我们就都得救了。“Oh, it’s a fine idea,” said the goat.“嗯，真的是个好办法。”山羊说。
And the fox got upon her back and jumped out of the well.狐狸跳到他的背上，再用力一跳，跳出了井口。“Now help me out, please!” said the goat.“现在请把我救出去吧！”山羊说。
“Why didn’t you think of how to get out, before you jumped in?” The fox said,then ran away.“为什么你在跳进井里之前没有想着如何上来呢？”狐狸说完就跑开了。
The story tell us: Think twice before your action.这个故事告诉我们：三思而后行。Look at the Sky from the Bottom of a Well 坐井观天
There is a frog.有一只青蛙住在井底，He lives in a well and he never goes out of the well.他从来没有去过井外面。He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of the well.他以为天空就和井口一样大。One day a crow comes to the well.一天，一只乌鸦飞到井边，He sees the frog and says, “Frog, let’s have a talk.”
看见青蛙，就对它说：“青蛙，咱们聊聊吧。” Then the frog asks, “Where are you from?”
青蛙就问他：“你从哪里来？” “I fly from the sky,” the crow says.“我从天上上来。” The frog feels surprised and says，青蛙惊讶了，就说：
“The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well.“天空就只有这井口这么大，How do you fly from the sky?”
你怎么会从天上飞老呢？” The crow says, “The sky is very big.乌鸦说：“天空很大。
You always stay in the well, so you don’t know the world is big.” 只不过你一直呆在井里，所有不知道世界很大。” The frog says, “I don’t believe.”
青蛙说：“我不相信。”
But the crow says, “You can come out and have a look by yourself.” 乌鸦说：“你可以出来，自己看看嘛。” So the frog comes out from the well.于是青蛙来到井外。
He is very surprised.How big the world is!他十分惊讶，原来世界这么大！
Later, people use it to describe the ones who have a very narrow view.后来，人们就用“坐井观天”来比喻一个人的思想狭隘。
The wolf and the lamb(狼和小羊)Once upon a time a wolf was lapping at a stream.从前，一只狼在溪流喝水，When he looked up, he saw a lamb drinking a little lower down.看到一只小羊在下游喝水。“There”s my supper,“ he thought.那是我的晚餐，”狼想，”I will find some excuse to catch it.“ “我要找一个借口吃掉他。”
Then he called out to the lamb, ”How dare you muddle the water?“于是，他恶狠狠地对小羊说：“你怎么敢搅浑浊了我的水？”
”No, master,“ said the lamb.”我没有，先生，”小羊回答说，I cannot muddle your water because it runs down from you to me.“ “我在下游喝水，怎么能搅浑浊你喝的水呢？” ”Well, then,“ said the wolf.“那么，”狼见此计不成，又说道，”Why did you call me bad names this time last year?“
“你去年的今天为什么说我的坏话？”
”It was impossible,“ said the lamb.“不可能，”小羊说，”I am only six months old.“
“我现在才只有六个月大。” ”I don“t care,” shouted the wolf.“我不管，”狼说，“If it was not you, it must be your father.”
“如果不是你，就是你的爸爸。”
After that he rushed at the poor little lamb and ate it up.说完，他就冲向小山羊，把他吃掉了。
This story tells us: A bad man always has excuse when he wants to do bad thing.寓意: 当一个坏人想为自己所做的坏事寻找借口时，他不会在乎这个借口是否恰当。
Belling the cat 老鼠开会
Long ago, there was a big cat in the house.从前，一所房子里面有一只大猫，He caught many mice while they were stealing food.他抓住了很多偷东西的老鼠。
One day the mice had a meeting to talk about the way to deal with their common enemy.一天，老鼠在一起开会商量如何对付他们共同的敌人。
Some said this, and some said that.会上大家各有各的主张
At last a young mouse said that he had a good idea.最后，一只小老鼠站出来说他有一个好主意。“We could tie a bell around the neck of the cat.我们可以在猫的脖子上绑一个铃铛，Then when he comes near, 那么如果他来到附近，we can hear the sound of the bell, and run away.” 我们听到铃声就可以马上逃跑。” Everyone was agree with that idea, 大家都赞同这个建议，but an old wise mouse said, 这时一只聪明的老耗子站出来说：
“That is a good idea, but who will tie the bell to the cat?” “这的确是个绝妙的主意，但是谁来给猫的脖子上绑铃铛呢?”
The mice looked at each other, but nobody spoke.老鼠们面面相觑，谁也没有说话。
The story tell us:Easier said than done.寓意: 有些事情说起来容易，做起来却很难。
The fox and the grapes
One hot summer day a fox was walking through an orchard.He stopped before a bunch of 4 grapes.They were ripe and juicy.“I’m just feeling thirsty,” he thought.So he backed up a few paces, got a running start, jumped up, but could not reach the grapes.He walked back.One, two, three, he jumped up again, but still, he missed the grapes.The fox tried again and again, but never succeeded.At last he decided to give it up.He walked away with his nose in the air, and said“I am sure they are sour.”
●一个炎热的夏日，狐狸走过一个果园，他停在一大串熟透而多汁的葡萄前。
●狐狸想：“我正口渴呢。”于是他后退了几步，向前一冲，跳起来，却无法够到葡萄。
●狐狸后退又试。一次，两次，三次，但是都没有得到葡萄。
●狐狸试了一次又一次，都没有成功。最后，他决定放弃，他昂起头,边走边说：“葡萄还没有成熟，我敢肯定它是酸的。”
寓意: 在经历了许多尝试而不能获得成功的时候，有些人往往故意轻视成功，以此来寻求心理安慰。

One day, a monkey rides his bike near the river.This time he sees a lion under a tree.The lion runs at him.He is afraid and falls into the river.He can’t swim.He shouts.The rabbit hears him.He jumps into the river.The rabbit swims to the monkey, but he can’t help him.Luckily, an elephant comes along.He is very strong.He helps the rabbit and monkey.Three friends are very happy.They go to the elephant’s home.Then, three of them become good friends.三个好朋友

These are some crazy and weird superstitions.Feel free to add some more, I know there are so many of them in this world。第一条：数字“13” 01 The number 13.这只是个数字。但是，每逢13号的礼拜五，人们普遍都会焦虑。很多机场没有13号登机口(好吧，你们真的以为12A登机口的乘客们不会发觉吗？)很多宾馆也没有13楼。It’s just a number.Yet, people tweak on Friday the 13th.Many airports don’t have a gate #13.(Like the folks at 12A won’t figure it out。)Many hotels don’t have a floor #13.人们告诉我，这个关于数字13的迷信来自叛徒犹大。他是那个坏信徒，是那个在“最后的晚餐”中第13个坐下的人。我觉得与其迷信13，不如迷信“坏信徒会带来厄运”，这样更理智些。
I was always told that the superstition is based on the idea that Judas, the bad disciple, was the 13th man to sit down to the table at The Last Supper.I think a more rational superstition would be to fear bad disciples。
第二条：在窗边挂一只橡果可以防止被闪电击中。02 An acorn at the window will keep lightning out。唔…真是神奇的橡果啊。That is some acorn.第三条：在新球棒上吐口口水，可以保持好运。
03 Spit on a new bat before using it for the first time to make it lucky.好恶心，好恶心，好恶心！在09年春，由于害怕猪流感的传播，全美的高中禁止运动员们在赛后握手。我很肯定他们也同样禁止了往球棒上吐口水这事儿。
Gross.Gross.Gross.In the spring of 2009, in fear of the Swine Flu, high schools all over the country forbade their athletes from shaking hands after the game.Pretty sure “not spitting on the bat” was implied.此外，从基本物理学的角度来讲，一个被口水润滑过的球棒的摩擦力更小，因此击球打滑的几率更大了…好吧，我真是精神病人思维广啊。
And speaking in terms of basic physics, having a lubricated bat makes for less friction, and therefore, slippery balls … okay, now I’m just out of control.第四条：为了写这篇文章，我得先去拿个蝴蝶研究的博士学位： 04 In order to write this article, I had to get a Ph.D.in butterflies… 蝴蝶出现得比以往早，预示着天气不错。
The early appearance of butterflies indicates fair weather.如果第一只蝴蝶是黄色的，那会是晴天。If the first butterfly is yellow, it will be sunny weather.如果第一只蝴蝶是白色的，那会是雨天。If the first butterfly is white, it will be rainy summer。如果第一只蝴蝶是白色的，会有人去世。If the first butterfly is white, someone will die。如果第一只蝴蝶是红色的，你会很健康。If the first butterfly is red, you will be healthy。
如果飞来了一只白蝴蝶，预示着夏天来了。If a white butterfly comes, summer follows.如果一只白蝴蝶从西南方向飞来，那就要下雨了。If a white butterfly flies from the southwest, expect rain。如果蝴蝶在围栏或树枝的下方飞舞，预示着快下雨了。
If butterflies are found hanging from the underside of rails or branches, it’s going to rain。如果发现它们在小树枝上方，说明不会下雨。If they are on the top of small branches, it will not rain。

如果你在夜晚见到蝴蝶，便将会死去。If you see a butterfly at night, you will die。呼，写完了！很“通俗易懂”吧，嗯？ There!Simple, right? 第五条：如果船上有猫，预示着会有好运。05 A cat onboard a ship is considered to bring luck。
我曾经在船上住过。猫绝对是个累赘。船上的角角落落都是它藏身、大小便的地方；甚至连机械装置都被破坏成了一片片的。有谁会愿意负责清理那些垃圾桶？垃圾桶可不是什么吉祥玩意儿。
I used to live on a ship.A cat would have been a real drag.All of those spaces to hide in, poop in, pee in? All of that machinery to get torn to pieces in? And who exactly would have been in charge of cleaning the litter boxes? Litter boxes are never lucky。第六条：如果三个人一起拍照，中间的那个会最先死掉。
06 If three people are photographed together, the one in the middle will die first。我不知道它是真是假，但这条让我毛骨悚然。
I can’t rationalize it, but this one just gives me the shivers。
第七条：经过墓地的时候，如果你把双手插在兜里，便能保护你的父母。
07 If you stick your hands in your pocket while walking past a graveyard, it will protect your parents。
我不禁好奇：假如我把里兜翻出来会发生什么？或者，假如我脱掉裤子摇摇手臂，又会发生些啥？
Makes me wonder what happens if I turn my pockets inside out.Or, take off my pants and wave my arms around.第八条：搬家的时候不要带走扫帚，它会带来厄运。把它扔了，买个新的。
