一、搞好整体设计,优化复习思路
如何使整体设计更趋于合理,是总复习成败的关键。为此,教学中我们十分重视总复习教学方法的探索。经过几年的实践,我们提出了“初三英语总复习五阶段教学法”,把整个教学过程按时间顺序划分为以下五个阶段: ⒈ 复习准备阶段
在本阶段摸清学生的基础情况,进行有关的学法指导,增强学生的中考意识。⒉ 大专题复习阶段
主要是夯实基础,建立和形成完整的知识体系和知识结构,提高学生的学科基础素质。根据中学英语课程标准,对教材的单元顺序重新调整,力求使知识系统化、结构化、程序化,以弥补学生在掌握基础知识方面的不足。⒊ 小专题复习阶段
主要是突出重点、突破难点、强化热点,提高学生的思维水平。此阶段以专题训练为主,穿插综合训练。
⒋ 强化训练阶段

经过多年的实践,我们感到“五阶段复习模式”强调了系统的整体功能,每个阶段的复习工作都是针对学生认知过程反映出的问题及中考的要求进行的,每个阶段都有明确的目标,针对性强,便于检查评价,使加强双基与能力培养、全面复习与突出重点、知识准备与心理准备落到了实处,因而收到了良好的教学效果。
二、对学生综合指导,提高主体学习的能力
心理教育和方法教育是素质教育的重要组成部分,而且科学的方法是提高学习效率的重要保证,先进的教法只有和相应的学法相结合才能收到理想的效果。在复习教学中,要在重视教法改革的同时,加强学法指导。教师要把培养学生良好的学习习惯、提高心理素质、培养学生根据自身情况确定学习策略的能力以及自学能力作为重点,结合教学内容加以指导。

一、建立内在、稳定的心理优势
良好的心理条件是积极参与的前提,但有的教师从“应试”出发,教学内容缺乏提督,脱离学生认识水平,学生经过努力却看不到成绩,以致丧失信心,学习成绩锐减。这种情况普哦怀里学生先前的良好的心理条件,影响学生学习的积极性。这就要求教师要深入钻研教材,既让优生有时可做,也要让差生有成功的机会,让每个学生都能“跳一跳,摸得着”,让他们在学习中尝到成功的喜悦,增强自信心,帮助学生建立起内在,稳定的心理

二、制定复习计划
初中英语三年共五本书,语言知识复杂,内容繁多,而复习时间却很短暂,要在最后升学考试中取得好的成绩,就应制订一个周密的计划。首先,教师对《大纲》要有透彻、全面的理解,要了解学生的思想状况、学习态度、知识层次高低等。其次,针对教学实际整理复习资料,最后把握中考要求及考试范围。具体做法大概分以下几个步骤:
1、重视课本基础知识:
主要包括:因标、拼读规则、单词、词组、短语等,用一个月时间把五册书的单词、词组、短语进行总结归纳。
2、整理归纳知识点
在复习的第二步,教师应高度概括初中英语知识,那整个初中英语分成几个部分进行总结归纳,使学生完善知识结构,弄清每个知识点之间纵横的联系,形成知识的结构网络。例如:名词的复数。人称代词的各种形式,基数词和序数词,形容词的比较级和最高级,动词的 第三人称单数,现在分词,过去式和过去分词等等。
3、搞好专题训练
经过前两部的复习,学生掌握的基础知识已比较全面、系统、完整。但为了突出重点,突破难点,强化易错点,专题训练是必不可少的。选择专题,既要考虑只是又要考虑能力,教师要站在一定的高度去审视研究手头的资料,不要让资料牵着鼻子走,要选用有一定的典型性,代表性和针对性,既能考察能力又能考查知识的题目。如(1)单项填空选择:选题要突出知识、能力综合测试的原则,要引导学生在具体的语言环境总灵活运用语法知识,注意词语意义的辨析、习惯用法、固定搭配及情景交际。(2)
完型填空:选题要突出训练对文章上下文语境中逻辑意义的理解,分析其特点和解题思路。(3)阅读理解:引导学生掌握阅读技巧,提高解题思路和质量。(4)看图说话:引导学生会看图猜意,用准词形词义,避开难点,尽可能写出简单而正确的句子。
3、模拟训练,综合提高
要求教师要选取高质量的模拟训练题,对学生进行实战演练,然后进行讲评,找出学生出错较多的地方,帮助学生找出出错原因。讲评不能就题论题,而是应该抓住试题中的典型题目,讲清原理,归纳方法,总结规律,并对典型题目进行引申、推广。
三、变学生的弱项为强项
由于教师平时不注重对学生书面表达的训练和指导,一提写作学生就犯晕,久而久之,写作往往成为学生的弱项。那么怎样才能培养学生的写作能力呢?
1、激发学生写作兴趣
兴趣是最好的老师。写作的教学成功,会使学生不一写为苦,而是一些为乐。要提高学生的写作兴趣,首先要消除学生的畏惧情绪,写作初期要放宽要求,降低难度,以保证学生写作的顺利完成。评价中多采用鼓励性语言,使每位学生都有成功的体验。克朗学生把自己的英语作文经修改后汇编成书,再班中展出,相互传阅。其次开展多种形式的写作训练,如写日记、写贺卡、英语手抄报和黑板报竞赛,英语作文竞赛,演讲比赛等。
2、写作训练要循序渐进
英语写作与其它技能、技巧一样,需要一个长时间的发展和训练过程才能臻于成熟和稳固,而且这个过程应遵循由形式到内容,按照由简到繁,由易到难的原则逐步展开。在入门阶段可要求学生根据自己的实际情况,对课文中出现的一些句群表述进行模仿写作,介绍自己或好友。如My name is„„I am in Class
Two,Grade One。要求不要过高,句子数量可不作明确的规定,学生能写几句就写几句。随之可进行一些看图作文、自画自写作文训练等。如让学生画自己大房屋等。然后再用句型表述出来,这样的写作既有趣,又新颖,学生很喜欢。初三学生可加强多种综合练习,特别是命题作文的训练,充分发挥学生的创造性,使每名学生最大限度地把自己所掌握的词汇、语法、句型等运用于作文中去,写出具有个人特色的英语作文。
3、养成良好的习惯,掌握正确的方法
英语写作是一个英语学习者综合能力的体现。学生只有养成良好的英语写作习惯,才有提高英语写作水平的可能。(1)要培养学生规范、清楚、美观、快速的书写技能,给读者以一种舒适的感觉。(2)培养学生用英语思维的良好习惯。写作时不要先想汉语,后想英语,更不要一句一句的翻译成英语,要从构思起就进入英语世界。
四|、在复习中要注意两个问题
1、面对英语成绩参差不齐的学生,教师在上复习课时,心中
一定要有把尺子。我认为在复习阶段一味满足好学生不利于大面积提高英语教学质量,易使差学生产生破罐子破摔的想法,甚至放弃英语学习。所以复习要“抓两头带中间”,善于发现他们的的一点点进步并及时进行表扬,从而坚定他们能学好英语的信心,促使他们抓住初中最后一次机会,努力把英语学好。
2、要处理好教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用
复习课上很多教师喜欢以教师自己为中心,这样,学生只是被动的听。教师整理好的语言知识让学生抄录在笔记本上。这复习方式有它的优点既节省时间,又一目了然,但也存在着最大的弊端,就是忽视了学生的主观能动性。如果经过学生自己动脑思考整理过的内容往往记得很牢固。整理过程中既能增加对课本的理解,又能发现自己的不足。因此,教师在复习的过程中同时指导学生充分发挥他们在复习中的主体作用,引导他们整理初中阶段的主要知识点、语言点,让学生成为课堂中的主角。
