在对外贸易中,我们面对的是来自世界各国、操着不同语言的客户,除了过硬的业务知识外,当然最重要的就是要过语言关。虽然世界上的语言有那么多种,但是英语作为一种世界语言,是我们每个外贸人必须要掌握的。另外,在跟国际商家做生意时,我们代表的不仅仅是个人或一个公司,也代表我们国家的形象,所以,掌握外事接待方面的技巧在外贸工作中也显得尤为重要。以下,结合我本人几年来的工作经验,对这两方面做了些总结,与大家分享,希望对大家有所帮助!

Part 1: 英语学习方面的经验

总觉得时间快得不敢去想,转眼已经毕业3年多了。毕业后,刚参加工作那会儿,雄心勃勃,对前途充满憧憬。无数次告诉自己一定要好好工作,坚持学习,将来挣好多好多的钱,让家人过上好日子。

记得第一份工作时,领导说是让我和另一个大学同学做翻译工作。刚参加工作,什么都不懂,感觉翻译是一份好神圣的职业啊,告诉自己一定要努力努力再努力才行。为了熟悉产品,我们下车间、去实验室实习,期间见到什么就往本本上记,平时在办公室也是捧着化工词典学习。我尽量让自己忙些,因为人一闲,就容易变懒。可是,我天生就对化学很反感,那些化工词汇怎么记也记不住,看到就头疼,简直就是浪费时间,浪费生命。所以啊,不管做什么事,先要培养兴趣才行。尤其是学英语。我从初中刚接触英语时,就对英语很感兴趣,听着成串的单词像鸟语一样从嘴里出来,就会感觉很兴奋。那时的想法很单纯,就想着有一天我也能跟老外对话就满足了。如今,我想我做到了。“兴趣是最好的老师”,希望大家都能培养起对英语的兴趣,那样学起来不会觉得枯燥无味。另外,对于专业词汇,一定不能死记硬背,要学以致用。用的多了,自然就记住了。比如我现在做汽车,以前对机械、汽车方面的词汇知之甚少,经过这么长时间在这个行业的接触,每天都要翻译些关于这些东西的资料,想不记住都很难。当然,记住了,不代表不会忘记,所以记忆是要反复刺激的。

我有个很深的感受,就是毕业参加工作后,想要坚持学习很难,需要很大的毅力,我想大多数朋友有着同样的感受吧!我就是毅力不够,总是给自己制定各种学习计划,但是真正能付诸实践的基本上没有。平时无所事事的时候不觉得,等到来了客人,人家说什么都听不懂的时候,才感到特别郁闷。于是乎,开始给自己制定学习计划,每天要花多少时间学习等等。起初几天可能还能坚持做到,然后就给自己找各种理由不执行了,比如今晚要跟朋友吃饭,明晚白天太累要早点睡了。其实,这是学习的大忌!后来,我就想办法,让自己始终有学习的动力。我发现让自己不断受刺激比较有效。比如,跟身边水平比自己高的人比较,为什么人家跟你工作的时间差不多,人家的英语就比你好;听些英语方面的讲座,比如疯狂英语,听听人家的经历,怎样几个月就说得一口好英语;看些英语节目,比如中央十套的希望英语杂志,中央九套的DIALOGUE,以及英语演讲比赛之类的。看到这些我都很受刺激,就会有学习的动力了。呵呵,就像我们老师说的,你们就像小毛驴,打一鞭子走一步。毕业后,更是这样,甚至拿着鞭子在后面打都不一定走。

其实,从初中开始接触英语的时候起,我就对英语很感兴趣,这使我的英语成绩一直很好。当然,那时候学校里不重视听力和口语,考试也不考这些。上了大学后,才感觉自己的听力

和口语太差了。虽然书面上的能力不差,可是毕竟英语是一种语言,是用来说的,交流的,不是什么时候都要写的。于是,开始着重提高自己的听力和口语。可是,我的性格比较内向,该说的时候不好意思说,总怕说错了,被别人笑话。以至于直到大学毕业,听力和口语都不是很好,但比哑巴英语要好一些,呵呵。毕业后,选择了与英语相关的工作,就是不希望把自己的专业荒废了。

从开始接触英语到现在,已经有十多年了。针对这十多年来学习英语的经验,总结如下:

1、听力:不管学习什么,都不是一天两天就能学好的。特别是英语听力。起初的时候,我为自己的听力水平很烦恼,与老外开会时总是很紧张,本来就听不太懂,这一紧张就更不行了,大脑一片空白。所以,总想在最短的时间提高,自己也就是初级水平,却非要找些中高级的听力材料联系,听不懂BBC和VOA的新闻,更是着急。结果,浪费了很多时间,却没有取得成效,这就是所谓的“欲速则不达”吧。

第二篇:外事接待英语

1、对来店客人首先致欢迎辞:

①welcome you to cansar holiday inn :欢迎您光临凯撒皇宫假日酒店;

②或者说it is our pleasure to have you at the XX hotel:您光临XX酒店,我们感到非常荣幸。这种说法更正式。

2、当客人休息时为客人选择饮用些什么时,可以说:

①can I help you? 可以为您效劳吗?

②或者说 what would you like? coffee or tea? 您喝点什么?是咖啡还是茶?

3、一些简单的饮品我们应该熟记,以便与客人沟通,例如:smart 醒目、cocalela 可口可乐、evian依云、watsons water屈臣氏、ice tea冰红茶、green tea绿茶、orangeace鲜橙多、vitamin drink脉动(维生素饮料)、deer啤酒等。

4、为客人推销按摩时,我们应该说:

①I would suggest you try massage/foot reflexology!我建议您做一个按摩/足疗!

②或者直接说you need massage?您需要按摩吗?room on comolemen tary.房间免费。

5、叫醒服务时,我们应该说:

①do you need woken up tomrrow morning? 您需要明早叫醒吗?

②at what time shall we call you? 我们应该什么时候叫您起床?

6、当客人休息好要走时,我们可以说:have a good rest? 休息好了吗?

7、当客人需要时可以说:we have a double at ¥80 and ¥100.a vailable which one would you prefer? 我们有价位在80元/100元的房间,您喜欢哪一种呢?

我们的房间为时间点制,开房费前要先告诉客人:check_out time is 12:00 noon.退房的时间为中午12点。
