三、分类解析——英语
3.0 写在前面
英语最最重要的还是词汇，所以整个研究生考试的准备过程中都要以这个为中心。没有足够的词汇为基础，什么语法，什么结构，甚至是什么答题技巧，全部都是虚的。在基础篇中将重点讲解如何学习词汇。同时大家要小心语法长难句陷阱，参见“考研陷阱”。另外，研究生入学考试的英语和国家英语等级考试（四六级）是有很大的不同的，请务必将这两者区分开来。因为两者考察的重心是不一样的。所以有六级考了较高分数的同学在研究生考试中考砸的。参见“考研误区”。
3.1 五轮复习纲要
每隔那么几年都要改革一下，不管它怎么改，把心态放平。如果英语听力是你的弱项，早点针对弱项进行强化，找出属于自己的方法。在下面的可能涉及到方法中没有包括听力这一项。如果需要，可以以6级英语听力作为模板参考。
3.1.1 第一轮复习基础篇（3月初-6月底）
基础篇重点是要强化词汇，同时如果语法基础确实很差的，当然有必要巩固语法，至少要知道XX从句，独立主格，主谓一致，祈使强调，时态语态等等。大致看看也不要过于深究，留下个印象在做阅读的时候稍微留意一下就行了。正如我说了，这时候重点是词汇突破。．．．． 记词汇首先要有好的词汇书。研究生考试，建议准备两本词汇书，分别是两类： 一类是阅读版的词汇书，这种书要求有足够多的例句，要足够的权威，词汇的解释应当足够的详尽并准确，有适当而不过多的拓展，能够包含有近义词词汇的区分（考研的重点），针对对象最好就是研究生考试，而目前市场上的这类书的代表作便是星火的《巧记·速记·精练》，这里我要说明一下，不要被这书的名字迷惑了，其实根本没什么巧记速记，词汇的增加那必须是踏踏实实一步步走下去的，调查过英语专业里的优秀学生，那也是把牛津一遍遍的背过之后才能有后来大家所看到的流利英语，但这本书不可否认确实编得不错，同时还配有mp3；
另一类称之为背诵版，这种书就是只有大纲词汇，及该单词的基本词义和历年研究生考试中出现过的词义，没有归纳总结，没有例句，但是要求错误少。这种书比较薄，尤其是对于基础较差的同学可以先从背诵版的单词书入手。因为差的词汇太多了，如果使用阅读版的话，速度会很慢，不利于大量单词的迅速积累。同时也需注意，这类书，不可否认的是，即便你词汇记住仍然难以面对考研中的难题，所以需要阅读版的辅助。这类书市面上非常多，但是质量差距很大，新东方也来凑数出了很多版本。笔者曾经用的文都的真题高频词汇记忆背诵版，感觉还算凑合，错误较少（不要太期望于完全没有错误）。
（介于这两者之间的那些单词书就酌情考虑吧）
如何背诵单词呢？
当然是拿着单词书一阵狂背。都到考研阶段了，相信大多数人都已经经历过了漫长的探索之路。笔者调查发现，迅速增加词汇量的最有效的途径就是背字典，有些所谓的阅读法，循序渐进法，联想法等等，个人认为对于大多数人来说都不大适合，包括很多语言专业的同学，无不是通过背字典的方式来迅速扩大词汇的。（做阅读，一天能增加几个单词呢？对于大多数人来说要多久才能准备到6000词汇量啊）
基础差的同学可以先拿着背诵版的单词书，以每天200词汇的速度迅速背诵单词书，一般单词书都在7000词汇左右，那么大概1个月就能全部扫完。有同学说我一天就20个单词都不能全部记住，能一天完成200的量么？从笔者的经历来说，是可以的。这里涉及到一些细节的问题：
刚开始估计很难做到一天200，但是第一天60个是完全可以做到的，然后慢慢的往上加，大概160~220就基本上到上限了。开始的阶段很痛苦，只要坚持下来你会发现并不是想象的那么不可能。相信很多同学到后来完全觉得200的量还不够，甚至还很想增加到300。建议不要那样。因为你还有数学要复习，并不只是英语这一门啊。而且不要太过于劳累，如果哪一天你做得过头了，后面几天你都可能不得不停下来休息，千万不要让自己背到脑子疼（是说的真的疼，可不是心理上感到会疼），那可就不妙了，一旦发生，一定要休息，打球，长跑，做做其他的事情调节情绪。身体是最重要的，考研不比马拉松。
把你每次没有背到的单词做上记号，这样就次次筛选，到后来过上数遍以后，单词量的总量就增加了很多了。不要期望每次都能把那些单词全部记下来（参加考研的人中应该不大可能有黄蓉和她老妈的记忆力吧），总有那么一些单词可能你背了很多遍以后还是记不住，但是不要太在意，不要花大量时间在那几个始终记不住的单词上，要努力提高总量。
这段时间，可以同时做一些阅读理解，在做阅读的基础上对提高单词的记忆有很大帮助，主要在于提高语感，增加单词的见面次数，这就如同你和一个女孩子天天在一个大教室上自习，你未必认识她，如果你们在教室门口见面，在楼梯处相会，在图书馆同时找一本书，同在肯德基打工，在家教中心再次遇到，很难想象你不会记得她。
阅读理解可以选择往年的真题作为练习，可以在7月前完成1991到2000年的真题，关于真题如何使用会在强化篇中讲述。另外根据自己的情况选择一些其它的资料（有真题也可以不准备其它资料了），比如星火的《考研阅读120篇》，感觉一般，做了真题以后你会觉得这些题出的水平和真题相差太大了，但是用来找语感还是不错的。09版张剑（03前的命题人）系列的书的口碑都还不错。也有人用张锦芯和石崇真的阅读，褒贬不一。任丽卿，夏X荣，肖克也是近几年出了很多的书。朱泰祺的书很多年都没有改版了，买了给人一种浪费钱的感觉，书的质量比起张剑的差很多（这是个人意见，但听说北京那边很多机构还是用他的书）。一本阅读书就足够了，没那么多时间也没必要做非常多，但要保证每天都练习。
在基础篇中提到的这些并不只是在打基础的时候适用，其实这些方法贯穿到整个考研的准备过程中。
3.1.2 第二轮复习强化篇（7月初-8月底）
这个阶段应该开始真题的强化训练了，以及英文的写作。不要怀疑现在开始准备写作是否太早，请参见“考研误区”。不要把什么事情往后压，否则到最后你将发现太多的事情需要你做，而那时你却什么事情也做不了。翻译和写作最能够体现出一个人的英语水平，这是后话。
如何使用真题
真题的正确使用是非常重要的。在这里所谈及到的方法，是从过来人的角度总结的经验，未必对所有人都有效，仅供参考。
可以把真题以2000年为界分为两个部分，2000年前的部分相对较为简单，2000后无论词汇量，还是命题思路都发生了改变；所以前部分可以用来作为刚开始复习时练练手，后部分就需要用来仔细分析了。
对过去这十多年的真题有个最起码的要求就是，要对这些文章和题目非常熟悉，做到没有一个单词不认识，没有一个结构不清楚。这是新东方的老师这么说的。（但也不是一件容易的事情啊）
为了做到这个，必须查出每篇文章中你所不清楚的词汇；对全文进行逐句翻译，只有这样你才能发现很多你在做阅读的时候忽略的细节。只要能长期坚持下来，你会逐渐发现命题规律并掌握这个规律，同时还有助于提高你拆分长难句的水平（重点应该是以最近十年的真题为基础进行分析）。这是一个很费时间的过程，所以希望能及早进行（比如从5月就可以开始准备了）。
分析真题的时候可以按照套题来进行，先进行模考（无论完形翻译还是作文，全部都要做），再对试卷进行分析，这样的效果会好一些；当然也有人是分类进行的。其实把真题过第2遍的时候再进行分类复习可能更好一些，这也同样适用于数学。
目前市面上关于真题解析比较好的版本就是张剑的《历年考研英语真题解析及复习思路》，该书历年封面均是黄色为主，故又叫做“黄宝书”。该书绝对值得仔细研究，甚至可以当作教材来学习。除此之外，沪江英语论坛的“黑暗版”英语真题解析也是非常好的资料（对于该书想做一点说明，03年以前的部分是由老版主独立完成的，其质量非常高，不亚于“黄宝书”，但是近几年的内容是由新版主增加的，很明显的表现出浮躁的作风，但仍然还算是不错的真题解析）。除此之外，还有考试虫的《洞穿考研》。应该可以开始准备写作了
英语作文一定要准备万能模板。相信大部分参加考研的同学的英语都不是非常好的，所．．．．．．．．．．．．．
以在准备写作时都应该要有好几个模板以备不时之需。而这些准备工作也应该尽量早些完成。
准备作文怎么准备呢？可以先从阅读大量的文章入手。你要写文章，那你就先要阅读别人的文章。于是就读那些往年的优秀文章。因为往年的优秀文章其实已经包含了大量的模板，你的任务就是把那些模板抽出来，改装成自己的东西。这个过程是很花时间的。
就算你有模板，你也需要一定的练习量。模板与你的写作水平是没有太大关系的，也就是说不能保证你的作文就肯定能得高分，所以必须大量练习。量要多大合适呢？每周至少完成一篇小作文和大作文吧。能力强的完成两篇足够了。不要太多，毕竟这是应试，作文你还想拿满分么？20分拿12到16分就差不多了（这要求其实已经很高了，尤其是A区），也拉不出什么差距的。（千万不要写跑题了，否则神仙也救不了你）
尽量把每种应用文都练习练习。
市面上关于写作的书较好的有考试虫的《万能作文》。新东方作文辅导班给出的那几篇文章也还可以，不过很多人都有了。张剑上面的那几篇也将就。还有夏X容的《作文一本通》，看看就行了。平时多练练，最好能有英语老师指点一下，效果将会明显不同。
3.1.3 第三轮复习进阶篇（9月初-11月初）
前面阶段的复习下来你就会发现很多欠缺的地方。这个阶段就应该针对这些欠缺的地方重点突破。
词汇深层含义，长难句的突破，文章总体结构的把握等方面就是这个阶段需要完成的。阅读版的词汇书+牛津帮你完成第一项，长难句突破可以使用胡敏的《长难句突破》（一定要在完成真题解析之后看效果更好，虽然张剑那本书上也有长难句解析，但相比之下胡敏的这本更佳），而文章总体结构的把握就要看你自己的理解能力了，没有相关的书，把 “黄宝书”+“黑暗版”+“考试虫”拿来作参考吧。
完形应该是很多人的老大难，你要考虑如何应对。新题型七选五，不好拿分，得专门练习（关键在于总结）。翻译，先把长难句弄通吧。翻译题都是长难句。这个阶段就是要进阶，否则只能在国家线徘徊，那会很痛苦的。
另外想说的还是阅读，不要把文章对了答案就算完了。一定要多看，尤其是英语真题的阅读理解，每过完一遍都会有相当的体会，多多总结。争取在11月以前至少过完3遍。
再次强调，整个英语复习过程中，词汇的学习（复习）始终都不要放松。
3.1.4 第四轮复习模考篇（11月初-12月中）
做真题的时候可能你没有很好的按时完成各个题目，但是在模考复习阶段务必严格执行。只有这样做，才能从根本上强迫你加快阅读和写作速度，针对自己的弱点合理安排考试时间及答题顺序，使你自己了解到自己的真正实力，并在一次次的模考中找到适合自己的方法。09版模考题中，张剑的《最后5套》（较难，推荐）和启航的《最后5套》（较易）都是比较好的套题。毕金献的那几套比较BT，对于想被打击下的还是不错的选择。还有北京考研班的《最后押题６套》。
原则还是做完一个再买下一个，十来套题就足够了，不要买很多堆在那儿。
3.1.5 第五轮复习冲刺篇（12月中-1月初）
冲刺阶段就不要太多的做题了，两三套模考就已经足够。空闲的时间把真题反反复复的再看看，把那些做错的题再看看，想想自己当时为什么做错的，保证考试的时候不要犯同样的错误。
把做过的完形再全部合起来做一下，主要是要把完形中遇到的那些词汇再熟悉，因为从往年的真题可以看到有些词汇是反反复复的被考到，对于这部分务必保证不要出错。把七选五的解题方法和思路再串串，适当的练练，因为考试的时候你状态不好或者时间不够的时候，宁愿放弃完形，也不可以放弃七选五（１０分啊）。从这几年来看，基本上都不是很难，仔细点能拿到６分。
北京考研班押中了０９的大作文，但是在准备的时候大家不要太去在意那些押题什么的。就算押中也未必就能考好，如果押中而没能考好更是影响后面科目的发挥。把自己的心情调节好就行了。考完也不要去多想。毕竟英语之后还有一门重量级科目——数学。
