1、自由交谈,创设情景

T: Are you happy?(S: Yes.)I’m very happy, too.because Last week, I read an interesting book.Look, This book is about holidays.(我用自由交谈形式,自然将学生的思路引入到本课“Holidays”的学习中,与学生共同读一本节日的书,课件出示一本名为《Holidays》的书,从而导入新课。学生的好奇心与参与热情已被迅速调动起来,使学生感到自然,渐入情境,激活学生学习动机和创造潜能。)

2、说唱小诗,复习导入

课件展示打开“holidays”这本书,用小诗呈现上节课所学节日。

At Dragon Boat Festival, People usually throw rice dumplings into the river for Qu Yuan.(介绍历史人物屈原及端午节的由来).c.T: Did you throw rice dumping into the river? Did you eat rice dumplings? 八、教学反思

纵观整节课,我始终围绕“节日”这一贴近学生真实生活的话题展开教学。在教学中,我注重利用多媒体创设语言情境,使新的语言项目在真实的交流中自然生成并整体呈现,学生在和谐的学习环境中体验、感悟和运用新学的语言知识,其情感态度得以培养。

1、衔接巧妙自然,课堂教学浑然一体

一堂好的英语课必须要处理好各教学环节之间的衔接,使整个课堂教学浑然一体。本节课中,我把师生的问候与话题的引出、吟唱歌谣复习所学节日活动新授节日、师生谈论节日与Ben 和Yang Lin 谈论最喜爱的节日这几个教学环节巧妙地联系起来,从而降低了教学内容的难度,教师教得轻松,学生学得愉快。

2、真实平等的交流,培养和发展了学生积极的情感态度

新课程强调关注学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。教师与学生之间只有建立了有效的沟通和交流的渠道,才能真正实现师生之间、生生之间的情感交流。本课从谈论各个节日活动到师生交流最喜爱的节日以及在此节中活动,构建了一个开放、和谐、平等、互动的课堂,新的语言项目在师生真实而平等的交流中自然生成。这样不仅让学生轻松掌握了语言知识,还培养和发展了他们积极的情感态度。

3、创设情境,整体呈现新的语言项目

新课程标准提倡充分利用现代化教育技术提高教学效果。本节课中,我有效利用多媒体图、文、声并茂的优势,恰到好处地创设了近乎真实语言情景,让学生在真实的语境中理解、感悟和运用新学的语言项目。比如,我利用多媒体呈现春节拜访亲朋好友,一起聚餐的情景,因而不需要太多解释学生就理解了新的语言项目‘have a big lunch、eat delicious food、visit relatives and friends’的含义,了解春节人们的活动。此外,整体呈现语言项目有利于提高课堂学习效率。

4、渗透中西传统文化知识,并进行爱国主义教育

我呈现端午节时,学生欣赏一段激烈的龙舟比赛的录像,学生立刻猜测出是中国传统节日端午节,介绍历史人物屈原及端午节的由来把节日与历史名人联系起来,学生更全面了解节日的由来,渗透中国传统文化知识,并进行了爱国主义教育

在呈现国庆节时,设计庄严的国歌,中国地图的呈现,以及师生齐读“We love China!We love National Day!”激发了学生的爱国主义情感。

西方传统节日Easter,我抓住这一环节渗透文化知识让学生课前收集大量资料,请学生介绍复活节的相关知识,培养学生收集资料的能力,再利用课件英文介绍复活节知识。培养了学生跨文化交际意识,而且激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。

当然,本课教学也有不尽如人意之处,在今后教学中有待进一步调整与改进。
