Lesson Type: New lesson

一、教材分析。

What color is it? 是一个承上启下的单元,有效而全面地复习了预备篇前三单元的内容后,本单元的主要介绍用颜色表达物品的特征,为以后的单元学习奠定良好的基础。

第一课设计了一个远距离观察物品的情景。第一部分老师拿着一本书,一个铅笔盒,一支铅笔问学生What colour is it? 要真实,自然。第二部分让学生动手图一图颜色,可增加学生的兴趣,发挥他们的想象,又可通过彩图帮助学生们练习口语,为提问颜色创设了合乎生活逻辑的语境。

第二课是以复数的形式对颜色提问。第一部分是针对学生看不见或看不清的物品提问,这种提问的设计合情合理,避免了类似 What's this? It's a pen.明知故问的问答。第二部分复习巩固十种颜色的表达,同时学习letters(Ss — Zz)8个字母;学习words 紧密围绕“询问颜色”这一话题,把字母、有关颜色的日常交际用语、词汇和结构有机地结合起来。让学生通过结组讨论,看图上色,听读等手段达到对该部分内容的深刻理解。

二、学情分析。

七年级绝大部分学生对英语很感兴趣,学习热情较高,有学习英语的愿望和兴趣,乐于参与各种英语实践活动。具体表现在:

1、有学好英语的信心,敢于用英语进行表达;语言组织能力、逻辑表达能力,都需加强。

2、乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教;能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。但个别学生的学习热情较低,学习欠主动。

3、学生正处于成长发育阶段,记忆力较好,理解和认知水平还有待提高。

本节课以师生互动为主,充分练习,展示个性,让学生运用所学知识来解决问题,实现课堂时效性。

三、教学内容: 六个字母和六个表示颜色的单词。

本单元为Starter的最后一个单元,主要学习字母Ss,Tt,Uu,Vv,Ww,Xx,Yy,Zz和表示颜色的六个单词(red, yellow, green, blue, black and white, color)以及What color is it? It’s……

四、教学目标:

1、知识和能力目标

通过本课时的学习使学生掌握本单元的重点词汇和句型,使学生能运用所学英语,正地 描述物体的颜色,同时进一步学习分辨人物的用语,并加以运用。

2、过程和方法目标

通过训练使学生具备相应的听、说、读、写的能力及运用所学词汇和句型进行交流的能力。口语训练应当自始至终在一种鲜明的色彩背景下进行,旨在营造那种为学生所喜爱的欢快气氛,教师应当在十种颜色上大做文章;在使用投影时要使颜色突出来。、3、情感态度和价值观目标

本节课围绕教学目标展开整个教学活动。由全班的热身,引入新课,到听力操练,再到小组对话,小组讨论,最后结束整堂课。在课堂上,学生们都积极地参与到学习活动中,并能积极地回答问题,积极地进行小组活动。就这点而言,学生在一定程度上做到了自主的学习和参与,从而为实现教学目标奠定良好的基础。

然而,通过这次系统培训后,我发现本次教学三维目标没有在教学设计上充分凸现出来,没有确切地写出知识目标,情感目标和学习策略。虽然自己会说只要自己心里明白就行,但是如果没有用文字充分表达出来,日积月累就会养成不良的习惯从而造成不良的影响。所以在以后的工作中,细节上还是要多加注意的!

在这堂课上,虽然学生很积极,表象看起来是很懂了,但是最终能否实现教学目标呢?这才是最根本的问题。在这节课中,倘若单单只讲解几个生词和句子,那会很空洞无味。

这一课时还要求学生认识四个形容词性物主代词(my, your, his, her)。当然,在这一课时内,不可能要求学生立刻就完全掌握其用法,但是至少要让学生明白,“我的,你的,他的,她的”是如何表达的。所以课堂上还需多一点的单词练习,比如单词的英汉互译,句子的英汉互译。通过板书在黑板上,让学生去做,再集体讲解,这样不断的操练才能加深学生对新知识的印象。毕竟素质教育还是要面对考试。

因此,在以后的课堂教学中,不仅要操练学生的听说能力,更要锻炼学生的写作和做题能力!这样才能全面的做好素质教育和考试的结合!

设计理念:新《英语课程标准》把教学的总体目标分为语言目标,交际目标,情感态度目标,文化意识的培养以及学习策略的培养等。其中,情感态度指兴趣、动机、自信、意志和合作精神等影响学生学习过程和学习效果的相关因素以及在学习过程中逐渐形成的祖国意识和国际视野。保持积极的学习态度是英语学习成功的关键。所以,我们在教学中应该不断激发并强化学生的学习兴趣,并引导他们逐渐将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机,以使他们树立自信心,锻炼克服困难的意志,认识自己学习的优势与不足,乐于与他人合作,养成和谐和健康向上的品格。下面我以人教版GO FOR IT(Starter Unit3 What color is it?)为例

Unit 3: This is my sister.教学设计

一、教材分析 对于刚进入七年级的学生来说,在预备篇第三单元他们会继续学习26个英文字母中的S—Z和谈论颜色。在预备篇前两个单元中,学生主要学习的是字母A—R及元音字母a,e,I,o在单词中的基本发音,本单元会学习u在单词中的常见发音。通过预备篇三个单元的学习,教师应尽量激发并强化英语学习处于不同层次的学生(包括小学阶段没有学习过英语的学生)的学习兴趣,引导学生树立学好英语的信心,乐于与他人合作和参与英语实践活动,并且乐于了解异国文化,为初中乃至以后的英语学习奠定良好的基础。

本单元围绕“询问颜色”这一话题,把字母﹑有关颜色的交际用语﹑词汇和结构有机结合起来,给我们展示了一幅生动而多彩的生活画面,同时有效而全面地巩固前两个单元的内容。创设两个任务:一是学习谈论不同颜色的字母,目的是学习字母S—Z和一些颜

二是让学生相互谈论生活中的事物,学会用what引导的特殊疑问句对物品及颜色进行提问与回答,并掌握其构成。

能正确认读、书写26个英文字母;能听懂关于描述物品及颜色的简单对话;能运用what引导的特殊疑问句谈论生活中的事物,并进行简单的描述,对颜色进行提问与回答。

三、过程和方法目标

本单元口语训练应当自始至终在一种鲜明的色彩背景下进行,旨在营造那种为学生所喜爱的欢快气氛,教师应当在十种颜色上大做文章;在使用实物时要使颜色醒目;在组合图画时,要尽量用大色块;在使用投影时要使颜色突出来。教师可以从教室环境上入手营造色彩气氛,如:选取十种颜色的硬色板,剪成各个大写字母;或者将色板剪成各种卡通动物形象,悬挂在教室当中或在墙上,注明各种颜色的英语字块。

四、情感态度和价值观目标

用各种可以调动学生积极性的活动来提高学生的活跃性,激发他们参与讨论的热情。例如小组活动与他人合作,培养学生相互帮助,共同完成学习任务;同时可以对学生进行美育教育,从小培养他们对美的正确认识。学情分析

“What color"学生在学习的过程中很容易把它错写成或错读成“What’s color”,因此在练习中要反复强调。教学准备

Teaching aims(教学目标)

1、学习英语字母S-Z。

2、能在四线格里正确地书写S-Z的大、小写。

3、能认读其印刷体和手写体的大小写形式(注意书写格式、笔划、笔顺合乎标准)。注意字母在字母表里的次序。

Difficulties(难点):

对初学者来讲,小学的汉语拼音对学习英语字母有一定的干扰。引导学生仔细观察字母的大小写格式,避免书写错误,做到书写正确、美观。

教学设

StepⅠ Revision and warming-up

1、,Hang the white paper on the blackboardwrite the capital letter “A” with a red pen, then ask the students:

T:What color is it?

The teacher answers herself:It’s red.

2、The teacher teaches the other colors with the color pens,repeat these words until students grasp them.

1.Focus attention on the picture in Activity 1a.Ask Students to find the capital letters in the picture to match the lower case letters.Then check the answers.2.Play the recording.Stop the tape after each letter and have students repeat.Check pronunciation and correct if necessary.3.Play the recording again.Have students repeat the eight letters in one set.Check pronunciation and correct if necessary.Step Ⅲ Practice

Do the color changes with the other colors.Yellow + red =orange,yellow + red +black =brown, yellow +red +blue +black,etc. A1so the teacher can let students discuss what color the objects are around us such as the color of the traffic lights,letter—box,bananas and so on„
