初中英语阅读比赛方案

英语阅读在初中英语教学中越来越重要，考试所占的比例也越来越大，学生失分也比较多。为了让学生更加重视英语阅读，强化学生的阅读意识，提高大家英文阅读的能力以及自主阅读的能力，同时英语文章中蕴藏着很多的英美文化知识，这也是一个学习英语的人必需了解的，使同学们对阅读的模式有一个整体的认识，提高同学们的英语阅读能力和学习英语的兴趣，为之后的英语学习打下良好的基础。经英语教研组讨论决定开展中学英语阅读比赛，具体比赛方案如下：

一、比赛时间：（周三下午六点——七点半）

二、比赛地点：理化实验室

三、参赛对象：七、八、九年级每班各选派10名优秀学生参赛

四、出卷及阅卷教师：

七年级组：王惠和方世英老师负责出试卷，改卷：初一全体英语老师。

八年级组：陈清焕和陈正荣老师负责出试卷，改卷：初二全体英语老师。

九年级组：陶红丽老师负责出试卷，改卷：初三全体英语老师

（要求：

1、题型要求：完形填空20%，阅读理解20%，阅读匹配20% 看图填空20%信息归纳20%；

2、符合年级特点；

3、结合新课标要求）

六、奖项设置： 七、八、九年级各设一等奖2名，二等奖3名，三等奖5名(每人奖状一张，另一等奖各一本硬抄，二等奖各一本软抄，三等奖各二本英语作业本)希望各班英语教师认真对待，参赛学生精心挑选、准备，争取佳绩!

Crossing the Sea

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.The title of our speech today is “Crossing the Sea”.An English poet by the name of Rudyard Kipling once wrote in his poem “We and They”:

“All the people like us are We

And everyone else is They

We live over the sea

While They live over the way

We eat pork and beef with cowhorn-handled knives

They who gobble their rice off a leaf

Are horrified out of their lives.”

When these lines first caught my eyes, I was shocked-how could two peoples remain so isolated and ignorant of each other in the past? Today's society, of course, is an entirely different picture.Those people who used to eat with cowhorn-handled knives might be very skillful in using chopsticks, and those people who used to gobble their rice might be as well have taken to fish and chips.Indeed, just take China as an example: Our modern life has been influenced by Western style of living in so many ways that it's no longer surprising to see teenagers going crazy about rock-and-roll, whole families dining out at McDonald's and even rather elderly people dressed

初中英语课外活动方案

英语课外活动是课堂教学的补充和延伸，在于培养学生对英语的兴趣、爱好、增长知识、提高技能、丰富学生的课余文化生活，与课堂教学相比更具灵活性、可塑性，因而学生非常乐意参加。本学期我们将根据学校的具体情况有计划有目的的开展活动，重视教学质量，调动学生的极积性，努力把英语课外活动搞得有声有色。现将本学期英语课外活动活动安排制定如下：

一．活动目的

本活动设计主要着眼于提高学生的英语综合素养，通过听说读写的活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣，形成英语学习氛围，同时丰富课余活动，给学生提供展示自己的平台，为今后的英语学习做准备。

二．活动安排 活动一：英文歌曲大赛

活动要求：各年级预赛评选出两个优秀班级，然后年级组之间进行竞赛，采取评委打分的方法，按照得分分为特等奖、一等奖、二等奖三个等级，并给与相应的表彰。

随着现代文化的发展，英语方面的影视作品越来越多，其中不乏适合中学生观看的影片，各年级可以选择1-2部适合本年级学生观看的英文电影，组织时间统一观看，然后用英语写出自己的观后感，在班级内进行展示交流。这不仅丰富了学生的课余活动，同时又锻炼了学生的英语表达能力，激发学习英语的兴趣，有助于学生英语水平的提高。

活动六：举办英语晚会

在周末或者学期末，各班可以举办英语晚会，学生自编自导，可以唱英文歌、表演话剧或课文中的小短剧、讲故事、朗诵等。节目内容丰富，同时要结合本教学内容，学生自己写稿子，教师审阅。这样准备出的节目，适合学生的水平，使学生能在语言能力上得到提高，工作能力上得到锻炼。这样的晚会学生比较喜爱参加。

活动六：英语趣味知识竞赛
