I am honored to be here, excited to give a short speech about which one is more important, personal experience and knowledge from books.In my opinion, personal experience is more important than knowledge from books.There is no doubt that all the information we need to be able to function well in society is got from books.In the meantime, knowledge is learned by personal experience.We learn to recognize when we make a mistake and how to make it right.Well, with due respect to all those great authors of the books, but in university, I do realize that personal experience means extremely much to me.As we are in this transformational age where communications and commerce are global, technology is almost magical, and the ambition for a better life is now universal, and I think this is why we are here today.We want to earn our personal experience through practicing our oral English, sharing our opinions with all the judges and audience here.And I think we are lucky to be alive at this moment of the history.Never before has our country enjoyed so much prosperity and so much social progress with so few crises.I mean, we get three opinions in life.We can follow the path of life by following the map, or we can keep the map in our back pocket for further reference, and we can apply both of them to our real life.Think twice before you make a decision.At last I wanna share my personal experience which is riding a bike to Beijing alone to end my speech,.Along the way I forced my eyes on the GPS navigation.Unfortunately I was lost before I got there.It is personal experience like this that makes me believe that personal experience is more crucial than knowledge from books.

主席：各位观众，大家好！人们常说：“管理靠责任，成功靠能力”、“责任重于泰山”。“天下兴亡，匹夫有责”。显然说的是能力和责任的问题。我们今天要讨论的话题则是责任与能力哪一个更重要。正方的观点是责任更重要。反方的观点是能力更重要。到底哪一个更重要呢？

下面，辩论开始，首先我们欢迎正方一辩发言，时间1分钟30秒。

正方一辩：

谢谢主席，大家好：

我方观点是责任胜于能力。什么是责任？责任是承担应当承担的任务，完成应当完成的使命。世间万物都有自己的责任，人从生到死，责任二字伴随一生。随着我们社会角色的增多，身上肩负的责任也就越来越重，我们要对社会负责，家庭负责，工作负责。

具体来说：首先，责任是道德建设的基本元素，官德、师德、职业道德、社会公德都以责任为基础，为前提。责任对于一个人来说，只有轻重之分，而无有无之别。承担责任更是体现了一个人的追求和品格。

其次，责任是一种做事态度，古人云：天地生人，有一人当有一人之业；人生在世，生一日当尽一日之勤。回顾沭阳这十几年的发展历程，正是有了仇书记，莫书记，特别是现在的蒋书记，一心为民的负责任的态度，才有了今天的沭阳新貌。

再次，责任是一种思想境界，责任的最高境界体现了人性的升华，总有一些人用行动诠释着责任的最高境界：2011感动中国十大人物之一，公安部副部长刘金国，率领消防官兵，浴血火场，用行动向我们讲述了作为人民公仆应尽的责任。

鉴于以上观点，我方坚信：责任胜于能力。

主席：好，刚才正方一辩对自己的观点作了立论陈述，现在我们来看看反方是如何破题立论的。请反方一辩发言，时间也是1分钟30秒。请！

反一辩：谢谢主席，大家好！感谢对方一辩的精彩陈词，首先要申明的是我方并不是说责任不重要，而是强调能力与责任的主次关系。我方也认为人从生到死责任一字伴随一生，但是如果没有能力如何承担责任。俗话说：富不过三代，这虽然不是百分百准确的至理名言，但也反映了一种普遍存在的社会现象，由于在长辈精心呵护下，第二第三代才丧失了创业守业的能力。难道是他们不想让自己和家人过上好日子的责任心造成的么？

曾几何时，国人就想嫦娥般奔月，为什么今天才能实现？这正是得益于国家的经济实力，科学技术等综合能力的提高而实现的！而不是对方辩友一直强调的责任。

在知识爆炸，竞争日益激烈，信息爆发的今天，难道对方辩友还没有认识到能力的重要性吗?综上所述，我方观点——能力胜于责任。

正方二辩：对方辩友应该知道2011年震惊全国的小悦悦事件

吧？那么对方辩友是如何来看待的呢？

反方二辩：我当然知道，但对方辩友不要忘记，从法律角度来看，小悦悦是个无民事行为能力人，造成小悦悦悲剧的前

提，正是因为自我防范能力和自救能力的缺失，如果

一个有完全行为能力的人在相同情况下，危险绝对不

会发生。

反方三辩：噢····原来对方辩友就是这样看待18个行人路过却

不施救的可悲现实的吗？请问对方辩友，如何看待酒

后驾车这类问题？

反方三辩：交通事故的发生，表面上缺失责任心，但新闻报道中

多为“无证驾驶”，作为司机是在酒精作用下，一定

程度上丧失自我意识、控制能力。

正方二辩：我方不否认酒精具有麻醉作用，但如果就此为其造成的结果开脱，事情于法都是说不通的，同样是司机，为什么有的人可以不酒后驾驶，有的人却以身试法？

正方二辩：2011年11月，在深圳引发了公众密切关注的“缝肛

门”事件，整个社会对医生护士的评价再次跌倒了谷

底，那请问对方辩友，人们关注的、人们谴责的，是

医生们的责任还是医生们的能力呢？

反方二辩：请对方辩友不要犯以偏概全的错误，诸如“缝肛门”

此类事件毕竟少数，否则也不会成为新闻，而我们好

奇的是他的主角为什么不是你我而是医生呢？还不

是以他们的医疗能力为前提的吗？2011年感动中国

十大人物之一吴孟超老人不正是用他的精湛的医术

征服了我们吗？

正方二辩：穿行于沭阳城区，主干道两侧，公交站台前，广告灯

箱上，“责任比能力重要”、“责任重于泰山”等各种

关于“责任文化”的标语随处可见，对方辩友作为沭

阳人，你是否认同这样的宣传呢？

反方三辩：沭阳历史悠久，北周周武帝建德七年置沭阳县，那么

多年来，属羊的历史为什么因仇和而改变了？为什么

只有蒋建明书记提出责任文化呢？这不充分地证明

能力的重要吗？

反方四辩：谢谢主席，大家好！刚刚对方辩友的辩论，不可否认很精彩。但我坚信“能力比责任更重要”

首先，我们说能力比责任更重要，并不可否认责任的价值，只是我们处理事情的时候，责任给我们的只能是动力，能力不是你根本过无能为力的其次，在《论语。季氏吧》有这么一句话“周仁有言曰：陈力就列，不能者止“这句话讲的是一个职位，有能力者居之。没有能力就下来，可见能力从古至今都是作为一个人价值的体现，能力作为一个成功者是必备的，责任只是能力的一个延伸。再次，责任心不是能够强求的，而能力是可以后天培养的，只是空谈责任，忽略能力，那就不用谈责任了。因为根本没有能力负责任。只有有了能力才谈到责任，这样才有能力对自己所做的每一件事负责任。

最后，请让我用一句话结束我的总结，能力是基础而责任是能力的验身，能力决定责任，而责任改变不了能力。谢谢

为什么社会上到处宣传环境保护，可总是有垃圾随处乱扔，企业大量排污，严重影响人类的生命财产安全，难道他们就只有制造垃圾的能力吗？

如果说环境污染还可以勉强辩解为经济发展的“副产品”，而往食品里蓄意添加有毒物质，又该如何理解呢？

三聚氰胺奶粉，毒害了多少无固定婴儿，咸鸭蛋含有致癌苏丹红，灌水银的长江刀鱼，地沟油、双汇“瘦肉精”、染色馒头、抹了蜡的苹果……说到这里，我们是否会感叹：国人的能力真是不敢小窥啊！这是没有能力的问题吗？

当前社会，已经到了责任心严重缺失的地步！最后，请允许我用沭阳文化之歌中的两句歌词来结束今天的总结：你我生长在奋进沭阳，一心将责任文化弘扬，哪怕是花海浪花一朵，也要奉献出经典交响。

Iq is more important than EQ.IQ is intelligence quotient.It is that ability to understand objective things and use knowledge to solve practical problems.Intelligence including many aspects, such as observation, memory, imagination, analytical skills, thinking skills, adaptability and so on.IQ mark the level of intellectual development.EQ is Emotional Intelligence.It mainly refers to the quality of the people in the mood, emotion, will, tolerance of frustration.Generally speaking, the EQ is no obvious innate differences between people, more closely related to nurture.Emotional intelligence consists of five main areas: self-knowledge, self-management, identifying others' emotions, self-motivation, dealing with interpersonal relationships.The level of emotional intelligence cannot be accurately expressed by testing, while the IQ can.It can only be judged according to the overall performance of the individual.First of all, the intelligence quotient(IQ)plays a decisive influence on a person's life.We take the pains to learn all kinds of courses since childhood.Through the rigorous entrance examination for secondary school and college as well as postgraduate, we finally obtain the ideal degree and manage to knock on the door of a company.However, that may not be all.In order to increase our chances of successful interview we may need to get other qualifications and professional competence

credentials, such as CET-4, CET-6, the National Computer Rank Examination certificate, the Certified Public Accountants and so on.It is a very common phenomenon if you didn't pass the CET-6 or did not reach a certain score, you may miss the chance to be a good job.Needless to say, the importance of the intelligence quotient is obvious.Second, people with high IQ are more likely to succeed than those with only high emotional intelligence.A great man is not very good at talking, but they all have high IQ, rich, solid and profound knowledge base at all times and in all countries.If Madame Curie didn’t have a Paris university physics, mathematics learning experience, she couldn’t become the discoverer of radium.Third, IQ is the source and foundation of eq.The level of the emotional intelligence depends largely on the cultivation of nurture, it grows with age and knowledge.Only when the knowledge what we have occupied reached a certain degree, we can realize we should be strong and confident, should control our emotions.It's hard to say to a starving baby “you should have strong!”, but we can teach him to shout “mama!” In conclusion, I think that intelligence quotient(IQ)plays a more important role in one's career.
