一、基础阶段：(2013年1月-2013年3月初)

1、背单词：买一本单词书或者直接从网上下载最新词汇表(书)-新四级词汇大全(附有音标)最新六级词汇大全。每天100个单词把中文意思一定要背过会拼写争取在寒假内把词汇表中的约4000(5500)个单词全部过一遍有个大体印象。

2、练听力：听力在考试前一个月突击是没有什么太大的效果的。所以，在基础阶段时，要加大听力的练习。大家不需要特意去练习考试听力。可以从网上下载一些听力资料，也可以在线听。大家论坛为大家准备了英语听写资料VOA, BBC, CNN新闻听力练习100篇，每天听一篇，相信大家在9月份开学时，会有很大的收获因为四六级的听力语速很慢每天只需要听一篇。但是一定要一边听一遍写，直到能把英语都写下来，无论听多少遍。这就需要大家在寒假有着执着的学习精神。

3、语法：很多四六级考生在四六级答题时，尤其是在写作和深度阅读部分，语法问题很严重。可以适当地把四六级语法整体学习一下。

二、强化阶段：(2013年3月初-5月中旬)

1、词汇掌握：由于在寒假里以及假期前后大家的辛苦学习，单词基本已经掌握的差不多了。但在开学后的两个月里，还需要定时复习寒假里已经掌握的单词。单词需要至少3遍才能完全掌握。所以大家可以一周复习一部分单词，这时候的重点就要放在高频词汇上。六级-1000个高频词汇(听力加强版)，四级-1000个高频词汇-(听力加强版)。

2、阅读理解：将历年的四六级真题的阅读一篇一篇的看。难度并不大，自己好好分析，对照答案的说明然后做一遍。每天一篇，每份真题有两篇仔细阅读，一篇快速阅读。从2001年到2012年大约一共有90篇，只需要把这些文章分析的彻底，问题就不大

3、练听力还是以VOA的听力为主每天一篇写下来再对照答案。

三、冲刺阶段：(5月中旬-6月中旬)

1、背单词：再将单词从头至尾背一遍。最多用一星期的时间把单词复习第三遍。

2、练听力：这个阶段一定要开始练习历年真题的听力了。这时候要利用听力技巧。四六级听力技巧汇总，总会有一种方法适合你

3、做阅读：将做过的阅读在重新看看，哪里还有不懂及时解决。在做快速阅读时，不要先看文章，要先看题目，从题目去文章中定位，养成习惯，这样在考试时就不至于因为时间问题而做不完试卷。

4、写作：这个需要大家多看范文，从这些资料里找自己需要的写作资料吧!

5、翻译：同样将历年真题一道一道的认真做下来。每做完几年的，就做一个对比会，发现知识点都是重复出现的，所以翻译相对简单。另外要注意一些重点词组。

6、真题：模拟题实战训练。最后15天每天一套真题或模拟题。自己严格按照考试流程来，掐着时间做，做完后自己对照分数。

英语四六级讲座总结

为了解决学生在英语四、六级备考过程中遇到的疑难问题，及时了解四、六级考试动态，掌握四、六级考试各个环节的应试技巧，使同学们更有重点地备考，增强学生过级信心，提高过级率。我院特邀请刘红梅副教授在十二月五日在金利来204为我院全体学生开展《英语四、六级讲座》。

英语四六级考试得到了我院大多数同学的重视，当晚到场人数达两百人左右。此次讲座，刘红梅老师主要讲述了两方面的问题：1.四、六级的题型和分数分布情况；2.分析了四、六级考试的试题特点，详细讲解了听力、阅读理解、词汇、语法、完型填空、写作六个方面的题型特点及应试技巧，并提供了备考过程的科学安排时间法。讲座持续了两个多钟头，在此期间，大多数同学都认真做好笔记，也在互动环节积极提出自己学习过程中遇到的问题，并从中得到圆满解决。

短文部分包括短文理解及单词和词组听写。短文理解有3篇，采用多项选择题的形式进行考核。四级每篇长度为220-250词，六级为240-270词。每篇短文朗读一遍，提3-4个问题，每个问题后留有13-15秒的答题时间，共10题。单词及词组听写采用1篇短文，四级的长度为220-250词，六级为240-270词。要求考生在听懂短文的基础上用所听到的原文填写空缺的单词或词组，共10题。短文播放三遍。

3)阅读理解

阅读理解部分包括1篇长篇阅读和3篇仔细阅读，测试学生在不同层面上的阅读理解能力，包括理解篇章或段落的主旨大意和重要细节、综合分析、推测判断以及根据上下文推测词义等能力。该部分所占分值比例为35%，其中长篇阅读占10%，仔细阅读占25%。考试时间40分钟。

长篇阅读部分采用1篇较长篇幅的文章，总长度四级约1000词，六级约1200词。阅读速度四级约每分钟100词;六级约每分钟120词。篇章后附有10个句子，每句一题。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能对应两题，有的段落可能不对应任何一题。

仔细阅读部分要求考生阅读3篇短文。2篇为多项选择题型的短文理解测试，每篇长度四级为300-350词，六级为400-450词;1篇为选词填空，篇章长度四级为200-250词，六级为250-300词。短文理解每篇后有若干个问题，要求考生根据对文章的理解，从每题的四个选项中选择最佳答案。选词填空要求考生阅读一篇删去若干词汇的短文，然后从所给的选项中选择正确的词汇填空，使短文复原。

4)翻译

翻译部分测试学生把汉语所承载的信息用英语表达出来的能力，所占分值比例为15%，考试时间30分钟。翻译题型为段落汉译英。翻译内容涉及中国的历史、文化、经济、社会发展等。四级长度为140-160个汉字，六级长度为180-200个汉字。

4.分数解释

大学英语四、六级考试是标准相关-常模参照的标准化考试。标准相关体现在：1)试卷各部分的设计和命题参照大学英语的教学要求规定的技能和标准;2)写作和翻译部分的阅卷依据评分标准。常模参照体现在考后各部分的原始分转换成报道分时，分别参照各部分的常模。因此，考试既是标准相关又具有常模参照的性质。

大学英语四、六级考试不设及格线。经过等值处理后的原始总分参照总分常模转换成常模正态分，均值为500、标准差为70，报道总分在220分至710分之间。在将原始分转换成报道分时，各部分采用不同的分数量表，从而使各部分报道分的简单相加之和等于报道总分。

采用常模参照旨在保证考试分数解释的稳定性。考生的任何一次四、六级考试成绩均可在四级或六级常模中找到其百分位位置，即考生成绩在相应级别的常模群体中所处的相对位置。考试委员会网站上(http://www.xiexiebang.com)已公布了总分和各部分的百分位对照表，以供考试成绩使用者了解考生的相对能力水平。

5.成绩报道

成绩报道分为总分和单项分。单项分包括：1)听力，2)阅读，3)翻译和写作。每次考试后，考试委员会向总分在220分及以上的考生发放成绩报告单，报告其总分和各部分的单项分。考试委员会同时向参加考试的各个院校提供该校考生的成绩(总分和各部分单项分)和有关该校的各种统计数据。
