经验总结—BEC商务英语初级考后感 编辑点评：该 考生英语水平为大学四级水平，报名参加了BEC初级的考试。感想写的很中肯，尤其是谈到BEC与大学四六级的时候提到，“学四六级是练内功，单光有内功是 不能解决问题的。而BEC就是教你剑法和掌法”，形象地说明了BEC的实用性。
2009年11月19日，我大学毕业9年后的第一次正式英语考试，考后有一点感想愿与大家分享一二。
1、进考场前，我在心里想，慢慢做，完全有时间检查（根据我们做去年真题的经验）。谁知这次BEC初级的阅读题难度比以前提高了很多，监考老师提醒我们还有7 分钟时，我还有一封信没有写。看来阅读题有逐年提高的趋势。就词汇量来说，我在8月份就背过了全部大学英语四级词汇，可是还是有很多不认识。但总体来说，我感觉这部分我做的还可以。
2、写作题有两道，基本上是送分的题，只要把几个要点扩展写全，这部分就能得很高的分。
3、听力题我认为是最难的部分，共有四道题。第一部分是听7个简短的对话，然后做选择题：有关于开会人数的，有选择公司业绩趋势图的；第四部分是关于一家公司 的主要业务活动的描述，但好在每一道题基本上都能听到“提问”的原句，而且是按照顺序；这部分有一些题可以根据上下文提供的语境，按一定逻辑推理猜到。第 二、三部分相对比较难，第二部分是关于描述一台复印机功能的对话，第三部分是关于公司会议安排的描述。这两部分我做的不好，其中第二部分我有一些数字和时 间没有听出，第三部分我关于会议地点和联系人没有听清楚。
4、下午是口语考试，我们分坐几个侯考室，考试允许自由组合。我和搭档进去后，老师就问“你叫什么名字，来自哪里？是学生还是已经工作了？如果你回答是学生，她就接着问你学什么专业？如果你回答工作了，就问你是做什么的？注意一点，千万别自己把问题套深了。第二部分是叫两人分别选一张表，在表上有两个主题，我选择的是”选择工作的公司时什么对我很重要？有提示的：工资、提升机会、培 训机会。第三部分是叫两人讨论“一家公司有很多员工打算离开公司，你们讨论采取什么方法留人？”只要认真看了书，应该没什么难度，但我和搭档在老师分别反 问时都请求了一次重复。但过关应该没问题。总体来说，我阅读和写作估计能得两个B，口语C，听力D吧，拉通看得个C应该没问题。
从 考试难度上看：我的搭档阿雷今年6月刚过大学英语四级，从与他同培训班的两个月经历来看，有了四级的基础，通过BEC初级是比较轻松的；至于我，我毕业9 年后一直没有碰过英语，看了前面“32岁学英语”的贴子，在这里也把自己的学习过程理了一下，鼓励旺友也勉励自己。
我之所以重拾英语：一 是因为做财务工作比较轻松，除了月末和月初较忙外，每月大概有十几天比较空闲；二是我考过几次注册会计师，除了经济法通过了外，税法两次都考了50几分，财务管理一次53分，第二次45分，考虑难度很大（平均单科通过率在15%左右，运气不好时，审计有一年通过率为6%，会计8%；而大学英语改革前的通 过率在50—70%左右，BEC初级的培训班通过率也在60—70%左右，由于条条道路都可以通罗马，所以想另劈溪径。
我是今年4月份开 始重拾英语的，用了一个月看完高考要求的词汇（恢复了基础），5月、6月两个月我看完了四级词汇（达到熟悉的程度，即看到单词马上能想起中文意思，但不能 完全拼写出来），7月份看教材，每天坚持听1个小时，9月份上培训班时感觉自己的听力得到了跳跃式的恢复，听力材料也达到了听了上句就想到下句的熟悉程 度，在这段时期我没有练过口语，但我感觉到只要听力上来了口语就没问题（即听得懂才能说的出）—听力应放在口语之前（这和我们儿时学汉语的过程上一样的，先听熟了才能说得出）。
前两天和培训班的学友们联系，大家准备继续考BEC的中级。我想说：想学就学，想唱就唱！态度决定一切（好像某位 老师40多岁用逆向法重学英语只用了一年就当上了翻译），最重要的是自己对英语感不感兴趣，只有选择自己最喜欢的、最善长的才容易出成绩（伊明善52岁才 从力帆起家）。—与大家共免！
BEC与四六级
1、四六级要求词汇的面要比BEC多，但目前社会考生已没有参考四六 级的资格，如果你已工作了，我建议你学习BEC。（因为BEC的知识很实用、很多是与工作、生活有关的情景英语）
2、大学英语四级的难度 和BEC初级差不多，但BEC的听力要难一点点，阅读要简单一点点。由于BEC初级没有改错、完形填空，所以BEC要简单一点点（但如果你没有看教材，那 你一定是过不了的）
3、从近段时间的招聘广告上可以看到：那种对四六级有硬性要求的，已经越来越少了；很多单位改为提到：英语读写流利 / 能熟练运用英语交流。所以，四六级变成了好象是仅为了增加文凭的含金量的考试（只有成绩单不能说明问题），而BEC却是相当于职称考试，非常实用。
开 个玩笑：学四六级是练内功，单光有内功是不能解决问题的。而BEC就是教你剑法和掌法。
至于公共英语，个人认为比较边缘。目前各种英语考试、培训 门派众多。你可以选择传统的少林、武当、峨嵋，也可以投奔金风细雨楼、六分半堂，但建议不要先去加入鲨鱼帮。哈哈。—共勉！
