课题:八年级下册英语Unit5写作教学设计案例

Ⅰ、写作教学内容:

八年级英语Unit5主要学习描述感觉和情绪的词汇及其用法,能够表述自己及他人的感觉和情绪。本人觉得Unit5的话题跟学生的生活实际和实践联系比较紧,是学生比较敢兴趣的话题。通过本单元的学习,学生能够明白许多事理,学会微笑,学会做人,学会控制及适当发泄自己的情绪。Topic1暗含着情感目标:学会微笑、笑对人生。学习Topic2&3让学生知道怎样面对困境和悲伤。因此本人在教授完课文内容分阶段给学生布置书面表达作业。根据上表所列的内容要点,以“learn to smile”为题写一篇短 文。90个单词左右。

参考词汇:自信—confidence(n.)confident(adj.)打败—beat(beat,beaten)(v.)2、Jenny随父母搬到一个陌生的城市,在生活和学习上都遇到 了困难,心情很不好。请你以她好朋友Mingming名义写信安慰她,并提出有益的建议,让她重拾快乐。80个单词左右。

3、在我们生活中,许多事情都能影响我们的心情,如颜色、天 气、环境等等。当你有烦恼时,你是怎样处理它的?听音乐?做运动? 和家人、朋友沟通?还是其他别的方式?

请结合你的日常生活实践展开丰富的联想,写一篇短文,词数在 60-80之间,题目是How to Deal with Sadness。Ⅱ、教学目标

培养学生通过各种途径收集信息和处理信息的能力,高学生的英 语写作水平,提高写作教学效益。Ⅲ、教学步骤

总的来说,本人采取了课内外写作训练相结合的方法。具体如下: 1.划分阶段要求,落实写作训练。根据各topic的阶段要求安排 和确定课内外学生写作训练的内容和要求。平时要求学生写出课文中 相关的句子,然后从以句子为核心的表达逐渐向以语段为单位和以语 篇为单位的表达过渡。2 2.简化作文评阅,正面鼓励学生。批改学生作文时留意挑出学生在意思和结构表达上都正确的句子,使学生每次写作都有成功体验,不必对学生表达错误和不恰当地方作详细批改,以免学生产生自卑、畏难情绪,从而化解心理负担。

3.采取作文欣赏,展示学生习作。评讲作文时不专门挑出学生作文中的错句,进行典型错误评析,也不将这些错误一一改正,而是挑选几篇学生写的较好的作文作为范文进行展评。先让几位学生将其习作写在黑板上,师生共同进行批改,不但欣赏学生写出的精彩、生动的好句,还分析文章的结构、层次、上下文过渡,对不妥之处组织学生讨论、辨析错误、分析原因,由学生发表修改意见。

4.注重自我批改,吸取他人精华。师生合作对范文进行展评后,其他学生参照范文对自己作文进行修改。根据表达的需要,学生以自己的好句为基础,分别吸取范文的精华部分,从范文中学习好的语句,改进自己的作文。5.学生把修改后的作文上交,让老师评阅。

6.抽空对学生进行书面表达测试。这样可以巩固学生的书面表达能力。Ⅳ、教学反思

随着社会的发展,越来越多的人意识到英语写作无论在英语学习中还是在实际的社会工作中都十分重要。英语写作能力的高低能体现出学生的英语综合素质。现行的《英语课程标准》规定:写是书面表达和传递信息的重要手段,培养初步写的能力是英语教学的目的之 3 一。然而,众所周知,在听、说、读、写四种技能中,写是最困难的,写作能力一直是学生的弱项,写作是我们英语教学的薄弱环节。

主要原因有:① 交际能力的培养尚未得到普遍重视。② 不少学生缺乏写作动力。③ 目前考试的负作用。④ 学校和教师的原因。要改变目前这种现状,除了在中学各级各类考试中适当加大书写题的份量外,提高学习效率的根本出路在于训练学生使用英语,提高写作教学效益,而提高写作教学效益表现为以下两个方面:(1)促进学生主动学习,提高学生学习写作的兴趣和智力参与度,让各类学生都能亲身经历合作学习和知识建构的过程。(2)更新写作教学观念,优化写作教学过程,在英语写作教学中促进学生有效的学习。鉴于此,本人在实际教学中始终不忘加强对学生写作训练的力度。

一.教学内容

本课以Go for it!八年级(上)Unit4 How do you get to school?的Section B 3a 部分为范文,把阅读与写作结合起来,让学生以How do students around China get to school 为题写一篇短文。此次写作训练联系学生生活实际,帮助学生掌握英语写作的方法和技巧。

二.教学目标 1.知识与技能

通过写作训练帮助学生运用所学过的语言知识写作,使学生逐步获得组织素材、划文章结构、列出提纲、组织语言、修改文章等写作的技巧和能力。

2.过程与方法

通过套用范文结构的写作教学,引导学生收集信息、组织学生讨论、帮助学生储备充足的素材,为写作做准备。情感目标

教师帮助学生克服对写作的畏难心理,激发写作兴趣,保持学生积极的学习态度。

三.教学重点和难点

1.从知识层面上看,写作训练的教学重、难点在于帮助学生谋篇布局,用文章框架填充信息进行写作,教师要引导学生掌握写作的步骤。2.从能力层面上看,写作训练的教学重、难点在于培养学生组织素材的能力、适当地模仿或创造性地运用好词好句并进行自我修改的能力。

3从情感态度层面看,写作训练的教学重、难点在于帮助分学困生克服写作时的畏难情绪,积极参与课堂教学;鼓励学生学习他人的长处,弥补自己的不足。

四、教学过程

stepⅠPre-reading 1.Warming up: Sing a song(Lead-in: Watch a cartoon and answer :What kinds of transportation can you see ? then present different means of transportation with picture : train、plan、bike、car、school bus、boat.同时补充 ship ,motorbike, electricbike, subway等交通工具。通过有趣的迪斯尼动画再次激活学生大脑中的相关词汇,同时以旧引新,自然引出新词汇。)3 look and answer:How do they get to school ? T: There are some people in the picture.How do they get to school ?First, let”s look at the boy.How far is it from his home to school?(呈现步行上学的动画)How does he get to school?(He walks to school =He gets to school on foot.)(用 同样的方式呈现各人上学的不同方式,分别用几种不同的表达方式)

Present the map of the world and point out: North America and South America.T: Look at the map of the world, there are many different parts in the world.It’s North America, this is South America.(设计说明:引入课文主题,用世界地图给学生一个直观的印象,解决部分生词:part、North America

(设计说明:地点的列出使文章框架结构一目了然,用流程图能给学生更清晰、深刻的印象。谋篇布局是写作中一个相当重要的环节。只有华丽的辞藻,而无篇章之层次、脉络,文章就犹如一盘散沙。而多数学生只关注语法有无错误,篇章意识非常淡薄。所以,这一步对学生来说是非常重要的。)

StepⅣ Write an article : How do students around China get to school?

一、教材分析

本教学设计方案内容属于义务教育课程标准实验教科书北京仁爱教育出版社八年级上册Unit 8 Our Clothes Topic 1的第一学时。本单元主要是通过学习各种衣服的英语、衣服的材料,以及句型:so...that...引导的是结果状语从句。这节课要掌握的是:结构“so + 形容词/副词+ that 从句”。学会用这个结构造句,如:The cake was so delicious that the boy eat a lot of it.教学目标 1.知识结构: a)To learn the new words of clothes.b)To talk and read about those new words.c)To practice listening, speaking, reading.d)To think about our clothes and learn the structures :“so „ that„”.2.目标语言: 1)What are these clothes in English? They are scarves.2)How do you like the Chinese Tang costume?=what do you think of the Chinese Tang costume? 二、教学对象

1.八年级2班的学生比较活跃,对时尚、对衣服有一定的了解,特别是jacket、sweater、coat、sunglasses等衣服名称,学生在之前就已经掌握了。e.g.:a pair of、jeans、skirt等为学习本单元搭好了平台。2.八年级大部分学生的英语基础比较好;当然少部分男同学的英语基础相对来说比较差,学习这节课的结构“so„ that„”及一些读音比较难读的衣服名称时有一定的难度。

3.“ so + 形容词/副词+ that 从句”是新出现的任务,我班学生在学习过程中一定会有较大的难度,需要对学生细心的引导。

4.我班学生对新授知识的掌握要用2节课,所以so„that 这个句型以及新单词:cotton,silk,Chinese Tang costume是任务的深化和提高,也需要细心的指导。

三、教学策略

1、通过学生自己的衣服展示(fashion show)和比赛巩固单词。

2、在掌握单词的基础上,自编对话,成组练习。

3、选用学生真实的对话情景,展开活动,交流各自的观点。

1.从上一句子中,找出“so„that„”,总结出其结构:“so+形+a/an+名+that从句 =such + a/an +形+名+that从句。

2.Do some exercises about the structure :“so „ that„” Step 6 Homework Write a short composition about our fashion show before we have class on your exercise books.(要求:每一个句子尽量写简单句)

做到2点:

1、赞扬完成得好的同学.2、对所有积极参与课堂活动的同学进行表扬。

六、教学反思

在两年的教学活动中,我觉得最大的困难就是如何使教学活动在一种轻松,民主的气氛下进行。而我的这一教学设计是一节公开课,上课前做的准备是相当充裕的,所以这节课师生互动、学生乐学的效果还是比较明显的。

1、教学导入环节,包括唱歌、情景电话、学生提建议的导入,学生配合得好,进行得很顺利。授课用时6-7分钟。

2、把这节课的重点设计为走catwalk的形式和趣味相结合的游戏,配以简单动作,利于学生记忆知识,激发学习兴趣和活跃课堂气氛。我认为要比上课前唱首英语歌单为活跃气氛要好。

3、做课件时,各环节的衔接过渡,制作、美化,整理图片等,长达好几天,心思、时间用得比较多。如果按仁爱英语光盘上的模板授课,就轻松的多,但是我没有这样子做,我想这就是我上英语课的原则:从自己带的学生的实际出发。

4、学生的catwalk表演放得不开,没有及时进行鼓励他们大胆尝试,这一点对学生积极性的培养不足,以后要注意对学生兴趣、积极性的培养!

5、上完这节课之后,我觉得鼓励成绩偏下的学生积极参与很有必要!在师生互动的环节中,成绩不怎么好、但又外向的那部分学生帮了我很大一个忙,本来他们并不热衷于英语课堂的内容,但教师的鼓励令他们也参与其中了!

6、留心观察周围事物,给学生拍的照片和与学生合作的电话录音,用作为教学载体,既利于调动学生的参与积极性,也利于提高大容量课堂的速度。我觉得自己的这点做得较好。“把生活带入英语课堂”是我上英语课最大的特点。
