一、让创新成为教学、教研的活力与动力

参加工作时正值中学英语科由旧教材向新教材转轨、英语教学由应试教育向素质教育转化的重大改革时期，它一方面给我的教学工作带来了前所未有的挑战，另一方面也正好给我的教学改革带来了机遇。我开展了“兴趣英语教学”。首先激发学生学习的情感，充分发挥教师感染力，上课精神抖擞，热情洋溢，使学生与教师产生心理兼容，并构建民主和谐的课堂气氛，教法灵活多变，边讲边议，议练结合，形成轻松愉快、生动活泼的课堂气氛。后来，我开展了每天安排学生上讲台进行“课前三分钟英语口语”的活动，活动的形式有一人演讲、两人对话、小品、短剧和幽默笑话等。活动的开展，收到了预想不到的效果，学生的热情高涨，课堂常常爆发出热烈的掌声。在活动的开展过程中，学生用英语的表达能力有了明显的提高，学习英语的积极性更是有了明显的提高。并在学校教学教研活动上进行经验总结，这一活动得到了各教师的认同与充分肯定。在近几年的中考中我校英语的平均成绩一直遥遥领先于其它科目。用学校领导的话来说：这与英语科老师平时积极和扎实开展各种英语活动是分不开的。

二、言传身教

知识，订阅了大量相关资料，参加了临夏、东乡县教育部门组织的各类学习，使自己的业务能力和教学水平不断提高，并独立完成了几篇教育教学方面的论文，在县、校等专题研讨会上交流。论文《农村初中英语分化现象及其策略浅议》获得中国国际教育学会、现代教育教学杂志编辑委员会教学论文成果大赛中荣获一等奖。

在德育方面：

这一年相对去年来说，我对教学和教育工作有进一步的认识，自己的能力和心理素质得到了进一步地提高，在院领导和同事的帮助下，拓宽了自己的专业知识，也承担了一些新的教学任务，总体上较好地完成了这一年的工作任务。回顾前期的工作，主要成绩如下：

一、解放思想、与时俱进、不断提高理论水平

二、端正心态、求真务、认真搞好本质工作

本学期主要担任《新风尚高职高专实用英语1》和《新风尚高职高专实用英语3》的教学。这是我第一次带《新风尚高职高专实用英语3》，这次除了认真备好课外，继续不断扩展英语语言文化相关的课外知识，争取在讲好课文本身的同时，给学生介绍有关英语语言文化的基础知识。并且充分利用网络的资源，在课件上补充了一些图片、音频、影视等旨在提高学生兴趣的资料，丰富了教学的内容，使得教学内容更直观。每节课布置作业，坚持批改，及时了解学生听课的情况。针对大二学生要通过大学英语四级的现实，我在课堂和课外作业补充了大量的四级做题技巧、经验，并督促、批改学生四级相关练习的作业，使得学生应试四级考试的能力得到了一定的提高。对问题比较集中的地方重点讲解，比较圆满地完成了教学任务。《新风尚高职高专实用英语1》去年已经教过一遍，今年在去年的基础上精益求精，在课上充分发挥了学生的主动性，引导他们积极学习。但是教学过程中仍然有许多不足之处。一方面自己的专业知识和教授四级备考经验比较有限，在讲授四级备考相关知识中不能做到深入和精确，另一方面在教学进度和学生所要求的教学速度上未找到合适的平衡点。这些问题是在新学年中我要努力攻克的，希望能在同事帮助下和自己的努力下使得大学英语的教学更 上一个台阶。在公外英语的教学中，我深刻地体会到了和专业英语课的不同。专业英语的小班教学需要老师及时了解学生学习的反馈情况，而公共英语课则是大班上课，强调的是学生对说英语国家文化、社会背景、为人处事方式、思维习惯、影视中表达的观念和影视英语的了解，课堂纪律不如小班教学那么好控制。所以虽然担任的都是英语课的教学，但是要因材施教，学会在不同的课程中转换角色，以期达到良好的教学效果。另外，近两年学生英语水平及对英语的学习兴趣都不如前几年，连最基本的上课出勤都需要老师再三强调。在此背景下，教学工作需要更加认真。

总体来说，作为一名大学英语老师，在教学上不能浅尝辄止，要不断探索新的教学方法，了解学生的心理状态，努力提高教学水平。
