英语总结

随着元月十号笔试部分的结束，充实的第一学期硕士英语课宣告结束。经过一个学期的学习，个人收获颇多，在此做个简单的总结。

首先，我的英语口语能力、应答能力有了显著的提高。课上，陶老师总是鼓励我们要积极用英语交流、敢于表达自己的观点，而不是通过笔写下来，然后对着读。即使说错了，也没有关系，争取一次次改善。长此以往，我深深的感觉到省却了中文想法——英文书面——英文口语这个中间过程，对于我们提高英语的交际能力、提升即时的应答水平有着显著的作用。

硕士英语课除了主讲老师陶老师以外，还有我们的助教和外教老师，这一切使得我们课堂教学形式更加的多样化，更好地激发我们的学习热情。外教老师非常风趣，从个人性格到教学方式都深受大家的喜爱。还记得在本学期的最后一次外教课上，外教老师设计了一个小场景——热气球爆炸，只有一人能逃生。在给定的场景下，大家发挥自己的想象力，组织自己的求生理由。这不仅提高了我们的口语水平，而且更容易激发我们的兴趣，培养小组组员之间的配合能力。相比于主讲老师和外教老师，在助教老师的课上，我们就显得轻松的多。在英语的大环境下，我们与助教老师能交流的内容不仅仅局限于课堂、课本、学习。没有年龄的代沟，我们可以用口语聊游戏、聊综艺等诸如此类，轻松愉快中潜移默化地改善着自己的口语水平。

另外，我们英语水平不仅是口语上的提高，还有词汇的改善和英美文化知识的补强。譬如，我们从Eating章节中学到了很多词汇的表达，诸如Big Cheese——大人物等。我们也了解了英语国家的一些饮食习惯及其相关文化。陶老师也会根据自己的海外经历，给我们补充一些真实的实例，让我们从中不断提高英文的认知水平。

当然，过去的一个学期中，个人存在着很多的不足，需要在接下来的学习阶段不断改善。硕士阶段，实验室与教室的工作模式来回切换，使我常常忘记了英语课前的预习。缺乏了良好的预习，英语课的教学效果很多时候会大大折减。这一点我在下学期一定要努力改善。另外，每次当我上台做Presentation的时候，总是显得有点准备不足及其带来的不自信，这往往导致整个展示的过程效果达不到最佳，在以后的英语学习阶段，我争取积极准备，努力提升自己的英语水平、加强自己的表达能力。

最后，感谢主讲老师陶老师以及助教老师和外教老师的一学期来的辛勤付出。祝新年快乐，万事胜意。

An Inner Critic A physician starts playing a harsh mental tape in her head every time a new patient calls: What if I make the wrong diagnosis? I’m a terrible doctor.How did I get into medical school?
