第二次见到他，已是盛夏。炙热的阳光烘烤着大地，幸得有这在道旁开出绿色的屏障，才使行人免受这毒辣阳光的试炼。依旧悠闲走在街上的我忽然嗅到有花香传来，这使我心情愉悦，好奇心迫使着我顺着花香前去。这醉人芬芳的尽头是一家古色古香的花店。店外盛开的鲜花繁茂，化作一团团绚丽多彩的光芒，让人以为还身处在繁花似锦的春季。

我缓步向店内走去，映入眼帘的是一抹熟悉的身影。我们彼此都有些许惊异，但老人只是笑了笑，邀请我参观花店。通过和他的“聊天”我知道店外种的是名为“无尽夏”的绣球花，这种花花期很长，长达一个夏天，这花也是老人最喜欢的花，只因这花的花语是“希望”。他说，他这一生最大的愿望就是能够让幸福长留驻在人心间，他还说，能看到这满屋子的花就是他最大的幸福了。

而后，每一次遇到需要帮助的人，我的脑海中便浮现出那满屋的绣球花。帮助一个人并不困难，只需一份为人着想的心意。回过神发现窗外下起了安静的雨，那绚丽的花在雨珠的折射下愈加闪耀，有如老人金子般闪耀的精神。那份乐于助人的精神同老人的绣球花一起印在了我的记忆深处。它，潜藏在我的记忆深处，我深知那不只是花，还是希望。愿你我都能生如夏花。
