小学英语听读录音作业落实的一点做法

小学英语教学的重点是英语口语。英语课时少,如何发挥家庭作业的作用让学生能做到发音标准,语音语调地道自然呢?这就成了英语老师关注的话题。一般老师布置的英语家庭作业是:反复的听课本磁带和朗读课文。而此类家庭作业的完成情况却不尽人意。老师无法了解每个学生是否都完成了听和读的家庭作业,家庭作业如同虚设,这也是我们老师们面临的难题。
面对这种实际情况,我们做了好多尝试,比如:致家长的一封信,请家长了解和支持我们的工作,学生在家的听录音情况由家长帮助我们监督,但是我们周边大多数的家庭来源于农村,从家长的时间和精力来说,一到农忙时节家长坚持不下来;设计了听录音记录表,学生听音作业坚持不下来当然这个表格也形同虚设了;每个模块、每个单元结束要求学生录制朗读磁带,有的学生没有听音的欲望导致语音语调不怎么准确,当然也羞于张开口录制,班上只有一半的学生完成;还有的学生由于家庭条件或是家长对英语学习的认识程度,根本就没有录音机;等等这些原因造成了我们的听读录音工作行之无效。
这学期,我们针对这个工作又做了深刻教研,讨论出比较有实效的方法继续加强工作力度,力求让纯正的英语课文录音真正的起到帮助学生口语学习和发展的作用,我们教研组成员一致认为要有实效就必须狠抓落实,同时要兼顾工作的方式方法,因为单调的机械重复听读容易使学生厌倦,单靠家长监督也不是个好办法。兴趣是一切活动的动力源,我们要想办法保持这一源泉。所以在设计听读录音作业时就要兼顾学生的兴趣,让“要我学”变为“我要学”,这样我们的工作就好做了。
一、听录音的时候
1)一般是学过之后布置回家听、读,这时,我们会这样布置:请大家回家听录音,尽量模仿录音的语音语调朗读,下节课开始我们会评选“今日朗读之星”。(我们会把评选出的“小星星”名字写在班级黑板上保留一个周,并在班级红花园奖励5朵小红花。)这样,既保持了学生的“动力”,又做到了检查作业,老师做到了心中有数。(课下由小组长组织小组评选朗读好的学生参加班级评选,评选出的“今日朗读之星”所在小组下次有权利推选两人参加班级评选。)2)预习的时候,我们会这样布置:请大家回家听录音,尽量模仿录音的语音语调朗读,预习成功的好孩子在下节的英语课堂上就有资格做一回“今日小老师”。
二、录录音的时候
录音的时候我们也是抱着如何让学生自己主动的去做这件事想办法,以往布置录音作业时我们发现,三分之一的学生由于这样和那样的原因交不上来,可以调整学生的心态,给他们布置任务时就让他们有想展示自己的欲望:让自己成为“广播电台主持人”,主持英语节目。学生们会很愿意尝试并参与录音活动。录音完毕后的近几节英语课最后5钟设立“优秀英语小广播栏目”,用来展示录音作业优秀的学生录制的磁带,这样我们把录音作业变成“录音工作”了,学生们很乐于参与这个“事业”。同样,“优秀小广播”也将得到小红花奖励和“张榜”公布一周的奖励。
三、检查和反馈的力度要加大
每次的录音如同一次口语检测和口语展示,通过检查可以随时发现发音问题并及时给予纠正。如果老师忙不过来,可以叫上“朗读小明星”和“优秀小广播”帮助,做到及时正音。允许学生重新录制。
老师将学生录制的磁带带到课堂上放,互相鉴赏,互相交流。这样也会起到激励的作用,为了更好的展现自己的口语,自然就会主动地听磁带,模仿练习,以达到最佳效果。一方面学生养成了在家里自觉朗读的习惯;另一方面也使学生的朗读水平在相互对比中得到提高,让学生轻松、愉快作业,乐学、乐做。但是这个做法有可能会伤害到自尊心比较脆弱的学生,所以适宜在班级口语水平比较高,“全面开花”的时候操作。
