第二种：549 m 946 th 768 sqm 文表达数字时可以从右往左，三位一逗号，例如：10,859,783三位一逗号，逗号从右往左分别对应的是：thousand, million, billion, etc。这也就是说，除了逗号，其余的最大不会超过三位数，因此，要想英文数字记得快而准，三位数的听写要过关。但是这么写后怎样用中文表达出来呢？用中文表达出来时，可以用便于中国人表达的方式做一下记号，即从右往左、四位一竖。
刚才例举的数字：549,946,768可以这么添上记号：5│49,94│6,768四位一竖，竖线从右往左分别对应的是：万，亿 所以上面的数字经划线后可以轻松的读成：五亿四千九百九十四万六千七百六十八
b)中译英
例：我们从收音机中听到三万二千五百 这个数字相对较短、较简单，不需要把中文中的“万”划成竖线也可以，所以：首先 写下听到的数字3│2500
然后 三位一逗号 32,500，最后 从右往左的第一个逗号对应的是thousand，所以数字表达成：thirty-two thousand five hundred 再举一例：我们从收音机中听到十二亿七百二十一万四百七十二这个数字相对较长、较复杂，我们这么处理：首先 中文的“万”“亿”按四位一竖的方法记录，因此写成12│0721│0472。之所以面对较长较大的数字这步不省的原因是：如果你没有其中的一竖，同学往往容易在后面的“721”“472”前漏写0，这样就使数字的表达有误。其次 按英文从右往左三位一逗号的方法标上标记，1,2│07,21│0,472最后 根据英文从右往左每个逗号分别代表的是thousand, million, billion用英语表达出该数字：one billion two hundred and seven million two hundred and ten thousand four hundred and seven-two B.转换
同学非常熟悉中文里面的“个、百、千、万、十万、百万、千万、亿、十亿、百亿….”。每一级的单位都有，非常齐全。而在英语中同学掰指数来： hundred, thousand, million, billion, trillion。总觉得和中文配不起来，因此同学碰到“万、十万、千万、亿”要特别注意，要反复操练这几个数字，这几个数字在中译英时尤为重要。
1万= ten thousand
10万= one hundred thousand
1000万= ten million
1亿= one hundred million 在这里要补充说明的是考生可能听到的中文数字非常简单，例如：十三亿，这么短的数字，同学记录的时候只需写13亿。在念的时候，由于英语中没有 “亿”这个单位，只有“十亿”这个单位，同学只需从右边往左小数点移一位即可，13变成1.3，在1.3后面的单位是billion。不妨看这几个例子：945亿 即94.5 billion36亿 即3.6 billion 但是一旦碰到“5亿”又该怎么办呢？如果按照上述以小数点的办法，不就成了0.5 billion吗？英语中没有“亿”这个单位，我们只能退到下面的单位：million。“亿”转换成“million”之间需要多加两个零。所以5亿就表达成500 million。
