初中英语语法教学应坚持词不离句、句不离篇、篇不离用,要基于真实语境、真实语用进行语法教学。因此我对My new neighbor 做了以下教学设计
一、教学目标
1.知识目标:掌握一般过去时的含义,构成,用法
2.能力目标:能够运用一般过去时态的句子谈论自己及他人做的事情,读懂含有一般过去时态的文章。
3.情感态度与价值观:通过本课的学习,学会与他人相处,表达自己的善意,做一个受欢迎的人。
二、教学重点和难点
1.掌握一般过去式及动词变过去式规则
2.运用一般过去时来描述或表达过去的事情。
三、教学过程
1.引入一般过去式和新单词 In front of the class, I put a book on the floor, and ask the students “Where is the book now?” “It is on the floor” Then I pick up the book and put it on the teacher’s desk and said to the students, “ Now the book is on the desk.But just now it was on the floor.” “What did I do just now?” 帮助学生回答,“You picked up a book just now.” Then I fold a piece of paper into the shape of a basket.I said to the students: “Just now, I folded the paper into a basket.What did I do just now? “用动作和实物引出新单词 fold ,folded, basket 和一般过去式的句子.同样,用动作引出 attach, attached;fill, filled: I attached a pen to the basket.I filled some things with the basket.让学生理解一般过去式的用法,同时掌握新单词。2.导入课文
I tell the students,“Last weekend,I made a friend.She moved in my door.She is my neighbor.What did she look like? How did I make friends with her? Do you want to know? Please read the text.” 让学生通读课文,了解大意,互相交流、讨论。
3.通过阅读课文,找出下列动词的过去式。(1)look_______fold_______pick_______fill_______attach______open_______
(2)move________

(3)have _____ is _____ see _____ put____ leave______ ring____
讨论并展示:找出动词过去式的构成规律。
(一)分小组讨论上述(1)(2)两种情况,引导学生观察和分析,归纳出规则动词的过去式构成: 展示:
1、一般加ed;
2、以e结尾的加d; 拓展:
3、以辅音字母加y结尾的改y为i加ed;例如:studied,carried,worried
4、以辅元辅结尾的重读闭音节,双写末尾的辅音字母加ed;例如:stopped,planned,chatted
(二)分小组讨论上述情况(3),引导学生观察和分析,归纳出不规则动词的过去式构成:
老师引导学生:不规则动词的过去式需要用心去记,请同学们从元音字母和辅音字母的变化上进行观察比较,找出其一些变化规律: 展示:
1、没有变化,如 : put-put
2、改变元音的,如 :ring – rang,run – ran,become-became
3、更特殊的情况,如:have – had,is – was,see – saw,leave – left,hide – hid
再读My new Neighbor,填空复述课文。

一般过去式教学设计及分析
规则动词过去式是英语教学中的一个重要内容。过去式的学习本身就是个枯燥乏味的事情。因此如何激发学生积极参与课堂活动,学习“动词过去式”呢?
一、创设真实情景,增强动词过去式学习的生动性
情景法是借助体态语、表演等,利用图片、多媒体和实物等具有形象直观的教学手段,创造一个真实生动的情景。这样有效地避免动词过去式教学的枯燥性和单一性,对学习主要是以感性认识为主的学生来说,不仅可以很好的吸引他们的注意力,激发其学习兴趣,还能够提高课堂教学的效果,收到事半功倍的效果。
1.借助多媒体进行教学
将这篇对话中要教给学生的这几个动词词组(helped the teacher, watched a film, listened to a tape, learned about history, waited for the bus, shared my lunch, visited the museum, carried he books等)设计成老师上周刚做过的事情,“Last Week,,Miss Yang visited the museum.On Monday,I listened to a tape.On Tuesday,I helped the teacher and carried the books.On Wednesday,I watched a film.On Thursday,I waited for the bus.On Friday, I learned about history.” 将这些活动配上图片,配上音乐,做成PPT,甚至可以做成FLASH,动感强一点,视觉效果更好一点,放给学生看两遍,提醒学生记住,然后跟学生谈论老师上周在哪儿,做了些什么事情,通过师生的问与答引出所在农场上的这些活动所涉及的动词过去式的表达。这样的设计很能吸引学生的注意力,因为据调查,学生对老师周末是怎样渡过的很感兴趣的,注意力集中了,兴趣浓了,学习起来自然就轻松了。
2.通过实物进行教学 通过老师现场搬运书本搬不动,于是请学生来帮助老师,这样就可以联系两个有关动词过去式的词组:helped the teacher and carried the books.有时候简单的实物、简单的动作却能表达很清楚的意思。
二、设计情景活动,增强动词过去式学习的趣味性 在情景中学习动词过去式的表达
情景表演不仅能消除学习所带来的疲劳,而且能调动学生们的情绪,活跃他们的思维。在教这课规则动词过去式表达时,老师也可以利用节奏感强的旋律顺势改编一首“Chant”,让学生对唱,帮助学生读熟练。
What did you do? I helped the teacher.What did you do? I watched a film.What did you do? I listened to a tape.What did you do? I learned about history 学生会读过后师生之间可以进行问答说唱,如:T:What did you do? S:I....这样在学生吟唱这首歌谣的过程中,学生不但轻松地掌握了本课的重点句型、动词过去式的表达,还陶冶了情操。
三、运用归纳总结法,增强动词过去式学习的完整性 归纳法即教师先向学生逐步渗透具体的语言现象,然后让学生观察分析并找出规律,归纳和总结出语法规则,这样就能使本课规则动词过去式的知识更容易被学生接受、理解和掌握。如:在教helped the teacher, watched a film, listened to a tape, learned about history, waited for the bus, shared my lunch, visited the museum, carried he books过去式表达的时候,先通过场景创设为学生提供一个操练机会,语言运用逐步熟练的基础上完善板书,新授词组的过去式逐步在板书中呈现出来后,让学生观察他们:
help the teacher--helped the teacher watch a film--watched a film listen to a tape--listened to a tape learn about history--learned about history wait for the bus--waited for the bus share my lunch--shared my lunch visit the museum--visited the museum carry the books--carried he books 然后分小组讨论这些词组有什么共同点,学生马上就发现这些词组末尾都加了ed;接着启发学生继续思考加了ed与不加ed有什么区别,ed的发音都一样吗,通过讨论并分析,学生很快就明白了原来加了ed的词组是动词词组的过去式表达,表示已经做过了的活动,这里的ed共有三种发音[t]、[d]、[id] 这时教师可以让个别学生及时进行总结归纳:一般过去时动词的过去式表达一般情况加ed,且ed有三种发音:[t]、[d]、[id]。最后再给出一些动词,让学生说出它们的过去式表达并说出ed的发音,让学生充分理解和内化语法规则,掌握好其用法,并使他们逐步建构起清晰且完整的语法知识图式。学生学到的知识需要经过自己大脑的加工和整理,才会更好吸收。这一教学方法能较好地发挥学生的主观能动性,与教师逐条讲解灌输语法规则,学生只记笔记不思考、少练习的教法相比具有很大的优势。
以上所讲的只是教授动词过去式的一些教学方法,我相信,只要教师遵循学生认知规律,灵活处理课堂内容,以“学生”为主体,以学生感兴趣的活动形式组织教学,优化课堂结构,坚持寓教于乐,肯定能探索出更多的富有创意的教学方法,使我们的学英语课堂更加的生动活泼

一、定义: 一般过去时表示过去某一时候或某一段时间所发生了的事情或存在的状态。常与过去时间yesterday, this morning, just now, a moment ago, in May, last night / year / week, once upon a time, the other day, before …, when – clause, in the past连用。如:What did you do yesterday? 昨天你干了什么? I met Lin Tao this morning.今天上午我会到了林涛。I was there a moment ago.刚才我在那儿
二、具体用法
1.Be动词在一般过去时中的变化: ⑴am 和is在一般过去时中变为was。(was not=wasn’t)⑵are在一般过去时中变为were。(were not=weren’t)
⑶带有was或were的句子,其否定、疑问的变化和is, am, are一样,即否定句在was或were后加not,一般疑问句把was或were放到句首。2.句中没有be动词的一般过去时的句子,但有情态动词, 有过去式的情态动词要变过去式 如Can-could will-would I could play the piano at the age of five.3.句中既无be又无情态动词。谓语动词要用过去式 He worked in a school one year ago.否定句:didn’t +动词原形,如:Jim didn’t go home yesterday.一般疑问句:在句首加did,句子中的动词过去式变回原形。如:Did Jim go home yesterday? 特殊疑问句:
