《大学英语3》课程教学大纲

1、课程简介

课程名称:大学英语3

课程类型:公共课

授课对象:非英语专业本科二年级学生选用教材:《新视野大学英语:读写教程3》,外语教学与研究出版社

《新视野大学英语:听说教程3》,外语教学与研究出版社

学时安排:每周6学时

考核方式:平时考查+期末闭卷笔试考试

2、教学目标与任务

本课程是非英语专业本科二年级第一学期的公共课。其教学目的是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素质。

按照《大学英语课程教学要求》规定的一般要求的英语能力及较高要求的英

语能力调整教学目标和教学内容。

3、教学计划

3.1 课程内容

《新视野大学英语:读写教程3》由10个单元组成,每单元设有一个主题,含

同一主题的课文两篇Section A、Section B。

《新视野大学英语:听说教程3》由10个单元组成,每单元分六个部分,主题

与读写教程一一对应。

3.2 课时分配

每两周(12课时)完成一个单元。《新视野大学英语:读写教程3》Text A及其练习由教师指导学生共同完成;Text B及其练习以学生自学为主,教师督促、1

检查、辅导为辅。全册10单元中将由教师选择2-3单元供学生自学,不安排讲授课时。同步进行《新视野大学英语:听说教程3》的学习。

3.3 作业布置与批改

每单元教学中教师应及时布置适量作业。作业可分为课堂作业和课后作业。课堂作业主要为课本上提供的练习、与课本配套的综合练习册和教师自己准备的课堂实践活动等,由教师随堂检查、评价。课后作业主要为词汇操练练习、语感培养练习(如:完型填空和英汉互译)、语言应用练习(如:作文)等。教师可以指定班级课代表帮助其完成部分作业批改,每次批改作业量不少于总量30%,作文全批全改每学期不少于4次。

4、教学模式

4.1 任务教学法和交际教学法

本课程主要采用任务教学法,同时将交际法教学思想渗透于教学的每一个环节。课堂上,教师除了鼓励学生了解英语语言知识、西方文化背景之外,还要善于引导学生积极思考,注重培养学生的自主学习意识。课堂教学活动要以学生为主,体现以学生为中心、生生互动、师生互动的教学原则,使学生的英语语言综合应用能力得到培养和提高。

4.2 多媒体教学模式

在学院教学硬件允许的情况下,开展多媒体教学实践与研究,探索多媒体在大学英语课程中的合理应用模式,并在条件成熟时在全院各年级推广。

5、评估测试

5.1 教师教学质量评估

积极开展集体教研活动。每学期每位教师不少于4次同行听课,并不定期组织公开课;每学期不少于4次集体备课和相关的教学研究活动;系主任定期检查教案、教学进度和作业批改情况。

5.2 学生学习成绩评定

在大学英语期末考试成绩评定中,要把学生平时学习情况考虑进去,从“教”和“学”的角度进行客观、科学、有效的观察和记录来评价学生的学习过程。主要可包括:出勤情况、课堂表现、随堂测验成绩、作业完成质量等多方面。正常情况下,学生必须参加该课程的考试,学期期末成绩总评 = 出勤(10%)+平时成绩(30%)+ 期末考试成绩(60%),成绩合格者按规定给予学分。2009-08-25

大学英语教学的目的是:培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、译能力,使他们能用英语交流信息。大学英语教学应帮助学生打下扎实的语音基础,掌握良好的语言学习方法,提高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。

二.教学目标: 1)词汇 : 领会式掌握4200单词(其中复用式掌握的单词为2500),以及由这些词构成的常用词组,并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。

2)语法 : 巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。

3)阅读能力:能顺利阅读语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能进行一定的分析、推理和判断,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能掌握中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟100词。

4)听的能力 :能听懂英语讲课,并能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟130--150词的简短会话、谈话、报道和讲座,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度。)说的能力 : 能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行问答和复述,能用英语进行一般的日常会话,能就听熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达思想比较清楚、语音、语调基本正确。

6)写的能力: 能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记、回答问题、写提纲,能就一定的话题或提纲在半小时内写出120--150词的短文,能写短信和便条,表达意思清楚,无重大语言错误。

7)译的能力 :能借助词典将难度略低于课文的英语短文译成汉语,理解正确,译文达意,译速为每小时300英语单词。能借助词黄将内容熟悉的汉语文字材料译成英语,译文达意,无重大语言错误,译速为每小时250汉字。

三.学时计划: 新视野大学英语III的总学时要求是54个学时,周学时为每周3个学时,是在第二学年第一学期使用。

四.考试测试:

1)测试是检查教学大纲执行情况、评估教学质量的一种有效手段,是获取教学反馈信息的主要来源和改进教学工作的重要依据。语言测试应重点考核学生的语言基础和语言应用能力。测试要做到科学、公平和规范。

2)基础阶段各级教学结束时均应安排考试,考试的命题应以听学课本内容为基本依据。考试形式可以是学校自行命题考试、试题库测试和全国统一考试等。考题形式为单项选择,完形填空,阅读理解,英汉互译与写作共五大题。

二、课程地位和任务

新视野大学英语课程是面向全校艺术类、蒙授专业一、二年级本科学生开设的一门公共必修课程。大学英语是以外语教学理论为指导,以英语语言知识与应用技能、跨文化交际和学习策略为主要内容,采用基于计算机和课堂的教学模式,旨在培养学生的英语综合应用能力,自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养和跨文化交际能力,服务于学校应用型人才培养目标,满足学生个性发展需求以及专业需求,使学生在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际,适应经济社会发展需求和国际交流需要。

三、课程教学目的和要求

(一)知识目标

根据学校艺术类、蒙授类专业的人才培养目标,按照分类指导、因材施教的原则,大学英语教学过程中,应安排相应的个性化的学习内容和学习策略,以适应个性化教学的实际需要。所以对这类专业的学生只做一般要求。一般要求是我校非英语专业本科毕业生应达到的基本要求。一般要求:

1)听力理解能力:能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材的讲座,能听懂语速较慢(每分钟130-150词)的英语广播和电视节目,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧。

2)口语表达能力:能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论,能就日常话题用英语进行交谈,能经准备后就所熟悉的话题作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。

3)阅读理解能力:能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章,阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟100词。能就阅读材料进行略读和寻读。能借助词典阅读本专业的英语教材和题材熟悉的英文报刊文章,掌握中心大意,理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。

4)书面表达能力:能完成一般性写作任务,能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等,能写常见的应用文,能在半小时内就一般性话题或提纲写出不少于120词的短文,内容基本完整,中心思想明确,用词恰当,语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。

5)翻译能力:能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译,英汉译速为每小时约300个英语单词,汉英译速为每小时约250个汉字。译文基本准确,无重大的理解和语言表达错误。

6)推荐词汇量:掌握的词汇量应达到约4795个单词和700个词组(含中学应掌握的词汇),其中约2000个单词为积极词汇,即要求学生能够在认知的基础上在口头和书面表达两个方面熟练运用的词汇。

(二)能力目标

在对学生听、说、读、写、译五种能力的培养中,要特别重视听、说能力的培养和训练,鼓励更多的学生选修外教英语口语课程,提高语言运用的熟练程度;培养学生能以英语语言为工具,获取所从事工作专业信息的能力。通过本课程的学习,既能帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,又能培养他们较强的实际应用能力尤其是听说能力;既保证了学生在整个大学期间的英语语言水平稳步提高,又有利于学生个性化的学习,以满足他们各自不同专业的发展需要。

陈道明:并不是我们拿多少钱,应该不应该,也不是他们拿多少钱,应该不应该,是不是你认真地完成了你的职业。

记者:您理解的您的职业,应该是什么?

陈道明:职业操守。

记者:是什么?

陈道明:认真工作,全心创作,各行各业的职业精神,我觉得都是一样的。

记者:如果用这样的职业精神,您去衡量一下,现在出现的所谓的明星的话?

陈道明:我觉得好的还是大多数,我也跟很多年轻演员接触过,他们有的时候也说,说我们没办法,他们也要存活呀,有时候不能不随波逐流,这个天体这个漩涡,它的力量之大,是每一个粒子组成的,这粒子是谁呢,就是我们,当你卷进这漩涡的时候,你好像是被动卷进去的,但是你到了里头就成了动力。

记者:可以不进去吗? 陈道明:可以。

记者:要付出什么?

陈道明:被边缘化,所以我也非常理解他们,现在我觉得问题出在,不出在他们年轻上,也不出现在貌美上,是他们没有一个正确的职业观,你干这个职业,现在动不动,什么手破了,什么哪儿摔伤了,什么冬天在水里头,夏天穿着大皮袄,变成了一个演员的功劳,你就是干这个的,你拿的就是这份钱,人家清洁工早上4点起早,你还在被窝里怎么说呢你的职业就是这个,然后还把它当作敬业,你演员就应该吃苦,就应该吃这样的苦。

演员自我要求必须严格

演员是文化作品的重要承载者,演员的职业和道德情操,直接影响精神产品的质量和社会效果。而一个民族文化欣赏水平的高低,决定了整个民族的文化气质,作为一名演员,陈道明对自己有明确的要求。

陈道明:有些剧我不拍。

记者:什么剧不拍?

陈道明:抗日神剧我就不拍。它不光是一个电视剧的问题,牵扯到一个正确的历史观问题,我想“90后”“00后”“10后”,将来看现在的抗日剧,是不是认为抗日就是那样,穿着皮大衣,拿着驳壳枪,男的像潘安,女的像柳如是,是不是都是那样。

记者:还有什么不拍?

陈道明:伪历史剧,我说的伪历史剧,就是这个剧是完完全全不靠边的。

记者:您不觉得,您能做的实在是太少了?

陈道明:这个只有靠行业的文化自觉,我作为我们演员,提高自己的一个鉴别意识,文化觉悟一点点提高,辨识度一点点提高,这得需要多漫长的爬坡,反正我是这样,有些东西我是坚决不拍的,我就觉得文化问题,是一个特别重要的问题,给老百姓到底端上什么样的菜,吃什么样的饭,喝什么样的汤。

记者:作为一名演员,可以给这个社会输出一些什么?

陈道明:情感,人类良性的情感,对国家的情感,对亲人的情感,对族人的情感,其实每个人如果都有一种情怀的话,良性的情怀,我觉得不愁出好片子。

记者:所以从这个角度,演员对社会的责任是什么?

陈道明:你必须要鉴别这个东西,输出给社会,是不是能起到温暖人改变人的作用? 记者:因为演员他和普通人不一样,有一种放大的效应,别人会向你学的,所以你必须得用更严格的要求,去要求自己。

陈道明:我昨天在跟刘恒老师聊天,他就说我觉得我生活上拘谨,我说鱼和熊掌不能兼得,没有说你又可以花天酒地,你又功名利禄。

记者:您要舍哪一块儿?

陈道明:尽量净化自己吧。

记者:你要付出的是什么?

陈道明:我要付出的是约束,对自己的约束,不是什么话什么事都能做。

记者:所以这就是您明白了,现在有不少演员,他没明白这一点。

陈道明:慢慢碰钉子,我也再重复一遍,并不是他拿多少钱,我们不要聚焦这个,我觉得你拿这么多钱,是不是干了这么多的事,是不是你对得起观众,工作是怎么做的,我觉得我更看重的是这个。
