1.Turn on the blender.打开果汁机。
turn on以及本单元学过的cut up,mix up等都属于“动词+副词”结构的短语,其宾语是名词时,名词位于动词和副词之间或副词之后均可。但宾语若是代词时,代词必须位于它们之间。如:Turn it on.把它打开。
2.How many bananas do we need?我们需要多少个香蕉?/ How much cinnamon do we need?我们需要多少肉桂?
同样是表示“多少”,为什么前一句用how many,而后一句用how much呢?
二者的意思均是“多少”,用法稍有不同。
how many常用来提问可数名词的数量,后跟可数名词的复数形式,而how much常用来提问不可数名词的数量,后跟不可数名词。本单元学过的yogurt,relish,mustard,cinnamon等这些不能用数目来计算的名词均为不可数名词。e.g.(1)How many apples do we need to make fruit salad ?

初二英语上Unit 11教学反思

我所实习的学校地处乡村小镇,只教七年级的英语。在这里,学生原有的英语基础和学习英语的习惯都较差,这势必大大影响了初中英语的学习效果,在这几个月的教学工作中,经过努力和学习,我也掌握了比较多的教学经验和教学理念,但同时我发现刚升七年级的学生成绩两极分化现象,普遍存在,而且是比较难以解决的一个问题。
一般说来,我们这是六年级开始学习英语的,两极分化形成的规律是:六年级刚学英语的同学对英语学习热情高,好奇心强,学习成绩较好。但随着时间的推移,难度的加深,以及兴趣的减弱,一些学生的成绩一步步地落后掉队,而且落伍人数也相对地增加。到了七年级,分化现象尤其突出,直接影响着学生在整个中学阶段的英语成绩,同时也阻碍了初中英语教学质量的提高。我从学生实际出发,遵循教学规律,对如何在农村初中英语教学中实施素质教育用心探索。我认为,在英语教学中实施素质教育的目标是提高全体学生整体素质,就是要让全体学生,通过听、说、读、写等方面能力的训练,使学生获得基础知识和为交际初步运用英语的能力。因此,在教学实践中,我想方设法帮助学生学会学习,以及激发和保持学习动力,培养自学能力,培养良好的学习习惯,把优化课堂教学当成落实素质教育的主渠道,尽最大可能为学生创造运用英语的景,指导学生积极地运用语言,在学中用,在用中学。出现两极分化的原因,我认为主要来自师生两方面,综合起来有以下几种情况:
第一、学生学习目的不明确。有不少学生开始学英语时是从兴趣出发,随意性和方向性程度大。他们学英语只是一阵子,一旦遇到挫折,就容易丧失兴趣和信心,知难而退,不思上进,导致成绩直线下降。
第二、学生学习方法欠佳。有些学生没有掌握好正确的学习方法。如:记单词,死记硬背;练句型,生搬硬套,不注意语言环境;写句子不遵循英语习惯,强行汉译英逐句逐词对译等。
第三、学生不了解学习英语的关键和要点。不少学生误以为,英语是知识型、理解型的课程,仅满足于老师讲的内容听懂了,而没有把主要精力用在听、说、读、写实践练习上,所以就无法形成语言技能,不能熟练掌握,就会边学边忘,越学越困难,最终导致掉队。
第四、学生忽视了语言学习的渐进性。学习英语一定要循序渐进、扎扎实实、逐步提高。单词学不好就无法组织句子,简单句掌握不好就难学复合句,听力差就不能说好英语。如果一段时期没有抓紧,连续出现缺漏,学生继续学习英语就困难重重。
第五、教师的教学问题。英语课堂教学是初中生学习英语的主要渠道,如果教师教学不得法,不严格遵循语言教学规律,不全面贯彻英语教学原则,教法单一呆板,只注重知识传授,不注意能力培养,只注重讲解,不注意实践,这样持续下去,学生就很自然地只满足于学好语法、背会单词、看懂课文、会做习题,而实际上没有达到熟练掌握,形成技能。大面积掉队的现象,也就在所难免。
造成学生学习兴趣不高的原因我认为还有的就是学生感觉课堂的安全度不够高,其实在课堂上有很多同学对老师提出的问题都有想去思考和回答的趋势,但又怕自己举手回答后答错了或者被同学说是“抢风头”,有这样的心理存在就在一定程度上打击了学生学习的积极性,久而久之造成学习兴趣的下降,甚至讨厌上课。
基于以上分析,为防止和杜绝两极分化现象的形成,教师就必须根据两极分化及时帮助,以防为主,初中英语的教学重点是基础知识和基本技能,因此教学应面向全体同学,争取做到人人基本达标。在教学过程中学生学习出现差距是不可避免的。一旦出现,就应该及时找学学生谈,分析他们掉队的原因,动之以情,晓之以理,使学生从思想上认识到学习外语的重要性。同时给予学习方法的指导,耐心帮助他们补习功课。对于一些有可能掉队的学生,及早指出,说明掉队的严重后果,做到防患于未然。产生的成因,有的放矢地采取相应的对策。
首先,五分钟会话。每堂安排五分钟左右时间进行会话。会话内容有值日生汇报、自我介绍、家庭情况、谈论天气以及熟悉的歌星、影星和运动员等。让学生自由用英语交谈,允许学生模仿课文内容适当增减,自由发挥。也可以根据课文内容,通过问答形式作简要的复述。在开展会话中,始终以学生为主体,引发他们的联想思维,由单一的讨论内容过渡到综合内容,把几个不同内容的话题串联起来,既复习旧知识,又开发了学生的智力。我特别注意,轮到中差生值日生时,鼓励他们大胆实践,并注意发现他们的“闪光点”,有点滴进步就给予表扬肯定,以增强他们的自信心。
其次,注重语感教学。加强听说训练,努力做到视、听、说同步,培养语感和学习兴趣。每篇课文的生词、句型和文章都是朗读的好材料。朗读不能老是采用“跟我读”的形式,而是要注意创造情景,让学生懂得不同句子的重音有不同的语感,显示说话者不同的语言的心理。同样,语调的不同,重音的移动,也体现了说话者不同的心理状态。经过训练,学生在以后朗读中也就注意了正确使用语音、语调和重读、弱读及升调,这样朗读绘声绘色,津津有味,整个课堂兴趣盎然,学习积极性大大提高。
第三,对话使用,角色表演。结合课文内容,每教授一个情景句型,让学生用当天所学的自编一个简短的情景对话,到讲台表演。如学到Where is your pen pal from 这课,我发动学生搜集各种他们所能搜集到的笔的类型,并找出产自于哪里,然后让他们拿着自己搜集来的笔和资料上台用英语讲解,如果不懂的地方同学可以帮忙,整个课堂就是欢聚一堂,在热烈气氛中学会并运用所学的句型,提高了运用语言交际的能力。对于因害怕答错问题的学生,我在课堂上会充分的利用一些教学手段,比如小组讨论,每个小组选一名同学代表本小组来回答老师提出的问题,这样学生的怕答错题的心理就比较容易消除,创造一种互助协作的气氛。增加学生的自信和安全感。另外还要适当的鼓励答错的题的同学,让他们逐渐的建立一种课堂的安全感。
第四,运用直观教具为了进一步激发学生学习兴趣。我们乡村地方没有多媒体教室,于是我充分利用图片、图表实物、录音机等教具,生动形象地开展教学和交际活动。例如,用提问的方式猜物品,让学生大声读出这个物品叫什么,然后自己将实物与英语句子连起来,练习听、说。这样的话英语课的趣味性、直观性很强,就容易吸引学生的注意力,营造英语氛围。这样学生不但有兴趣去接受所学的知识,更重要是的是能够专心的跟随你备课思路去走。
第五,平时注意了解和分析每个学生的具体实际情况,因材施教,有的防矢,合理安排好45分钟教学内容和进程,课堂上,与学生互动,让每个学生都参与学习活动
第六,温故知新,人的记忆时长是有限的,当天学的东西要让学生们熟练运用就必须回家温习。因此,我会布置家庭作业,以复习当天的功课。我要让学生学习┈复习┈再复习,反复操练,由易而顺利地完成一个个学习目标。
第七,指导学生订出学习英语长期计划和短期安排,每天坚持搞好课前预习,发动家长帮助督促实施,第二天上课之前以互动或提问的方式复习下上一堂课的知识点及重点,让学生们轻松彻底的掌握。在学生经过一段学习活动后,进行归纳分析,以鼓励表扬为主,满腔热情帮助学生,及时处理反馈信息,当堂巩固,让学生真正地学有所得.第八,让学生拥有学习的能力,所谓“授人以鱼,不如授人以渔”教是为了学生的“学”,因此,我重视对学生的课外学习的指导,帮助他们养成良好学习习惯和自学能力:(1)早读课,坚持听新教材的课文录音,加强听力训练,让学生模仿地地道的英美人语音、语调;(2)鼓励他们多读一些英语小故事,尝试去读一些英文原著;(3)强调作业的独立完成,培养学生克服困难的意志。帮助学生认识到,做作业实际上是新旧知识的运用过程,一定要养成自觉独立完成作业的习惯;(4)培养学生认真听课,初步运用英语思维和理解;(5)从音、形、义几方面培养观察力和记忆力,打好语音基础;(6)用联想对比,归纳演绎等记单词和语法知识。
英语作为一门外语, 其重要性已渐渐为学生们所认同.那么,如何帮助学生真正地掌握这一重要学科,更好地做好英语教学工作,作为一名教育工作者,我们需要付出更多的辛苦,努力成为一名真正合格的英语教师.
