亲爱的同学们，大家晚上好！我是来自物管4班的许一可。很高兴大家来参加物流发展协会组织的物流演讲大赛！
相信很多同学在高考报志愿时都十分迷茫，即使查了很多资料还是不明白物流到底是怎样的，我们学物流到底可以干什么，可以为社会做什么，今天我就和大家分享一下我眼中的物流。
百度百科这样介绍我们的专业：“物流管理是指在社会在生产过程中，根据物质资料实体流动的规律，应用管理的基本原理和科学方法，对物流活动进行计划、组织、指挥、协调、控制和监督，使各项物流活动实现最佳的协调与配合，以降低物流成本，提高物流效率和经济效益。”看完后一头雾水，不知所云。而物流给我们最直观的感觉便是送快递，在这样的环境中重复一成不变的工作。我们不禁要问：这也需要我们花费4年时间来学习？直到我们听了张院长的讲座，才认识到物流是企业第三利润的源泉，是经济发展的基础产业，她是21世纪的朝阳产业。于是一种责任感和自豪感油然而生，我喜欢上了物流，喜欢上这个北师最牛学院。
物流是什么呢？就是买几辆卡车，雇佣一些司机，送送货物，跑跑长途？就是个搬运工？其实不然，我们把运输、保管、包装、装卸、流通加工、配送和信息这七大环节，作为一个整体或系统考虑，并且将这七大环节物质资料的物理性移动称为物流。也就是说物流是克服场所间隔和时间间隔，创造场所效益和时间效益的活动。比如上周五1班参访的企业德豪润达，要把在生产旺季6月份生产出的面包机，咖啡机等小家电，经过一段时间的保管存储，到12月份卖给北美的消费者，这就是克服场所和时间间隔，创造场所效益和时间效益。
21世纪，物流问题是世界经济发展的主要矛盾之一。20世纪80年代全球商品市场进入饱和或超饱和状态以后，人们从实践中发现，只有解决好物流问题，才能顺利扩大再生产，推动经济持续向前发展。尤其是我国，因为长期重生产、轻流通，结果导致产品大量积压，交通拥挤不堪，物流费用竟占GDP的20%，甚至更高；而美国还不到10%；目前我国企业平均库存周期为35~45天；而美国1997年汽车和电子产品平均库存周期就已降至12天。2000年，因我国物流落后使我国的物流费用支出高达一万七千八百八十点八亿元。物流就像一个可怕的虎口吞噬了我们辛辛苦苦创造的剩余价值。如果这笔庞大的物流开支降低1个百分点，就可节约178.8亿元，这是一个多么巨大的节约空间！在我国加入WTO后的今天，世界五百强企业已有四百多个来华投资，抢滩中国市场，面对强大的外来冲击，我们没有其他选择，不变也得变，物流现代化不搞也得搞！只有把自己融入到国际化社会，与国际全面接轨，才能在市场经济的风浪中成长壮大！
作为新世纪的大学生，我们肩上的责任不言而喻。我们渴望为祖国的经济发展贡献自己的力量，渴望实现自己的价值，要做到这些，我们就要有充足的知识储备，扎实的学科基础，丰富的社会经验，而这些都需要我们在大学四年中点滴积累！

Life could be a long journey of pursuing happiness.Does happiness have a universal definition ? I say no.But there must be something in life that makes you realize what it means.During the SARS period , I heard a true story.In the battle against SARS, a doctor fell down.Mother of a 6-year-old son, wife of a considerate husband, she used to knock at the door even though she got the key, which annoyed the son.But now , to the son, how wonderful the sound was and how happy it was to open the door for his mum.But that will not happen forever.What do you think? Things are always like this.We usually don’t cherish what we have until the moment we lose it.It reminds me of Helen Keller, U.S author who was blind and deaf from infancy, lived her life to the fullest.She once said “ Darkness would make you more appreciative of sight;Silence would teach you the joys of sound.”

In your opinion, what is “happy class”?
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen!It is a great honour for me to give a speech here;my speech is about “in your opinion, what is happy class?”
As we can see, some teachers can‟t bring happiness to their students in class.Many teachers take too much time to teach and just tell the students to keep only the knowledge in mind.Students have to just listen to and accept their teacher‟s ideas.How can they feel happy in class or interested in school?
In my opinion, a happy class should be one in which both the teacher and the students feel quite happy.First, teachers should try their best to create a warm atmosphere for the students, so that they are relaxed and participate more.Teachers should also bring laughter to their class.Besides, Teachers should not just be good teachers but also be friends of their students.They should remember that students are people too.I think I‟m very popular with my students because I‟m a humorous teacher.I look on all my students as my friends.In my class, I give them clear and simple directions.I try to help them feel comfortable when they ask and answer questions.I use examples from their daily life.For example, once when we were learning the attributive clause, I asked, “Do you know Wu Jimin?” “Yes,” They answered, “He was admitted into Beijing University after he graduated from our school.” Then I asked, “Can you say something about Wu Jimin using attributive clause?” They were very excited about this task and happily told me their answers: Wu Jimin who once studied in Linzhang No.1 Middle School has set a good example for all of us.It is said that Wu Jimin whose parents are both farmers studied very hard.In 2008 I taught a student called Gu Huifen.She is Gu Zhenfeng‟s sister.Just last week she called to tell me how happy she and her classmates were when they had my English class.She said they could learn things easily, gladly and effectively because my class was often full of jokes, games and discussions.What impressed her most was my interesting questions: “Why is a river so rich?” “Why do people say „smiles‟ is the longest word in English?
