大家好！

很荣幸这学期由我来担任我们一四班(一五班一六班)的英语老师。我姓谭，学历本科。小学英语高级教师。毕业11年。在博才工作8年。希望在我们的共同努力下，孩子们能够喜欢英语，并学好英语这门课。

首先，我来介绍下我们所学习的教材特点，方便您更好的对孩子进行课外辅导。第一册全书共分11个模块，内含一个期末复习模块。每个模块分两个单元。第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容，是重点。第二单元提供若干任务型练习，包括一首歌谣或小诗。在这一册，学生刚开始学习英语，书中涉及了一些日常生活中使用频率最高的语句，学习时不要求学生单纯学说单词，而要鼓励学生学说句子，在句子中学说单词。把单词放到一个句子环境中，记忆效果更好。我希望家长能够关心孩子的英语学习、能够配合我的教学。下面我提几点建议：

1.请每位家长仔细阅读英语课本中的致同学，尤其是致家长。在致家长里，给了我们非常好的关于怎样学习这套教材的很好的建议。它建议我们鼓励孩子多运用英语，建议我们鼓励孩子多在课外接触英语，多看英语动画片，多听英语歌曲，多看英语书籍和报刊。请家长们一定要仔细阅读并付诸实施。

2．帮助孩子养成听英语习惯。每天安排一个固定的时间（30分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。要让孩子们养成指读的习惯。以往我教一年级时，出现过这样的情况。同样的一句话，孩子们在这一页认识，翻到另外一页。他就不认识了。边听录音边指读。可以避免这种情况。

3、以平常心来对待孩子们的英语学习。以往我教一年级时，经常有家长跟我反馈，老师，我崽不会读英语课文呀。根据语言教育实验，儿童在学习语言时有一段“沉默期”，不能达到“听到了就能说出来，听懂了就能读出来”这样立竿见影的效果。因此，我们在初次使用本教材时，不要求孩子一学习课文就能“自由地”说出或者朗读课文。应为教材中有跟多内容只是呈现语言的语境内容，这些并不要求学生能够读。其实这个道理就如同孩子们从一两岁学习汉语一样。他很早就会说了。但可能到四岁或者五岁，他还不能够自由地认读、指读。但我们一定要鼓励孩子们多听、多跟读。鼓励学有余力的孩子能流利的读课文甚至背课文。

总之，外语教学是一个积累的过程，需要很长时间才能起到潜移默化、厚积薄发的作用。希望通过大家一起努力，让孩子能够对学习英语养成良好习惯，培养兴趣，从而把这门课学好。
