采用Excuse me.Is this personnel department?(请问,这里是人力资源部吗?)或Excuse me for interrupting you.I'm here for an interview as requested.(不好意思打搅了,我是依约来应聘的。)类似问法都比较合适。
在确定了面试场所和面试官之后,简洁地用Good morning/afternoon向面试官打招呼,也能令在场的人提升对你的印象。
建议二:不要害怕外表冷冰冰的考官
一些用人单位与面试者的最初交流是比较冷冰冰的。例如:
I:Your number and name,please.(请告知你的号码和名字。)
C:My number is sixteen and my name is Zhixin Zhang.(我是16号,我叫张志新。)
这时,面试者不要觉得有压力,面试官的态度冷漠并不是针对你个人,你只需要照实简洁地回答即可。
在某些情况下,面试官会问一些看起来比较普通和随意的问题,但实际上是暗藏深意的,例如:
How did you come? A very heavy traffic?(你怎么来的?路上很堵吧?)
你的回答可以是这样:Yes,it was heavy but since I came here yesterday as a rehearsal,I figured out a direct bus line from my school to your company,and of course,I left my school very early so it doesn’t matter to me.(是的,很堵。但我昨天已经预先来过一次并且找到了一条从我们学校直达贵公司的公交路线,并且在今天提早从学校出发。因此,路上的拥堵并没有影响到我。)这样的回答就点出了你的计划性以及细心程度。
建议三:抓住考官问题的关键点回答
如果应聘者突然听不懂面试官的话,或者问题太复杂,该如何回答?下面是一名工商大学的学生参加一知名化妆品公司英文面试中的一段:
I:You are talking shop.How will you carry out marketing campaign if we hire you?(你很内行。如果我们雇用你的话,你打算如何开始你的市场工作?)
C:Sorry,sir.I beg your pardon.(对不起,能重复一下吗?)
I:I mean that how will you design your work if we hire you?(我的意思是如果我们决定录用你,你打算如何开展市场工作?)
C:Thank you,sir.I’ll organize trade fair and symposium,prepare all marketing materials,and arrange appointments for our company with its business partners.(谢谢。我将组织贸易展销会和研讨会,预备所有营销材料,为公司及其商业伙伴安排见面会。)I:Do you know anything about this company?(你对本公司的情况了解吗?)

在希望对方重复问题时,除了I beg your pardon.还可以用 Would you please rephrase your sentence?的表达方式。
建议四:巧用过渡语,表明自己用心听问题
如果面试者在面试时可以用一些类似:As you mentioned(正如您所说的)或者As far as I know(据我所知),表示你一直在认真听对方的谈话。此外,你还可以选择As it is shown in my resume(正如我的简历所提到的)
或As my previous experience shows(如我之前的工作经验所示)之类的表达法。
另外,在面试之前,面试者对应聘公司应有所了解。比如了解公司的规模、业务、未来发展,这些往往被中国学生忽略了,对公司文化理解是否深刻,是你超出其他应聘者的一个亮点。但如果实在不了解,就应根据所知诚实回答。
试英语-应聘理由篇

第三篇:英语礼仪
英语礼仪
一、乘车:
1、小轿车:小轿车的座位,如有司机驾驶时,以后排右座为首位,左座次之,前排右座再次之,后排中间座为末席。(2)如果有主人亲自驾驶,以驾驶座右侧为首位,后排右侧次之,左侧再次之,而后排中间为末席。(3)主人夫妇驾车时,则主人夫妇做前座,客人夫妇做后座,男士要服务于自己的夫人,开车门让夫人先上车,然后自己再上车(4)主人亲自驾车,做客只有一个人,应坐在主人旁边。若同坐多人,中途坐前座的客人下车后,在后面做的客人应改坐前座。此项礼节最易疏忽。(5)女士上车不要一只脚先踏入车内,也不要爬进车里,需要站在座位边上,把身体降低,让臀部做到位子上,再将双腿一起收进车里,双膝一定保持合并的姿势。
2、吉普车:吉普车无论是主人驾驶还是司机驾驶,都应以前排右座为尊,后排右侧次之,后排左侧为末席。上车时,后排位低者先上车,前排尊者后上,下车时前排客人先下,后排客人在下车。
3、旅行车:我在接待团体客人时,多采用旅行车接送客人,旅行车以司机座后第一排即前排为尊,后排一次为小,其座位的尊卑,依每排右侧往左侧递减。
二、住饭店
入住饭店要有这样的意识:除了自己的房间以外,其它的都是公共场所。绝对不要在餐厅和走道里喧哗,或穿着睡衣,拖鞋闲逛。特别是旅行团,不要因为大家都是熟人,便无所顾忌,为所欲为。
别忘了女士优先,在上下电梯或进入餐厅,男士必须“After you,please。” 让女士先通过,女士则应抱以微笑,说一声“Thank you.” 对饭店的设备或服务若有不满,如:床单脏了,没有毛巾或空调有问题等不满之处,可明确的告诉饭店服务人员。若邻房过于吵闹,不可直接斥骂对方,请饭店人员出面,要求他们注意。
退房时,若以旅行支票或信用卡支付时,应说“Traveler’s checks, OK”或出示信用卡,同时问声“This card,ok”若对账单有疑问,应礼貌的跟对方提出,最后,从得到许多关照的饭店准备出发时,别忘了说声“I enjoyed my stay,Thank you。”
三、提供帮助
无论在什么国家,助人为乐都被视为一种美德,但在重个性,讲独立的美国社会,即使是出于好心帮助被人,也必须征得对方的同意。你主动提出帮助,而为被接受,却还要强行帮忙,往往被认为极其粗鲁的行为。在中国,小辈扶长辈,处处为年长者着想被认为是孝顺,但在美国,年轻人若未经允许去搀扶老人,帮他干这干那,往往会招致对方的反感,因为在老人看来,你已经把他视为生活不能自理,缺乏独立性,不中用的人。
在这个世界上没有人是万能的,完全不需要别人帮助。当别人需要外援时,及时地向他提供帮助比什么都强。患难识挚友。人们常常对求助显得迟疑。是因为担心给他人带来太多麻烦。此时,如果提供帮助,确实让人心存感激。向陌生人提供帮助,尤其是向来自不同国度和文化的人提供帮助,是很普遍的现象,真诚友善的帮助在某种程度上可以减轻他人的紧张情绪,有助于消除陌生感。
当别人想你提供帮助时,你面临着接受或拒绝的选择,如接受,你应该礼貌的接受,真心感谢。若拒绝,同样应该有礼貌地婉言谢绝。
四、礼貌用语多多益善
不少到过美国的人,都有这样一种印象:即美国人讲话嘴都很甜,他们对好听的话从不吝啬。常令听者心舒意畅。的确,在美国请,谢谢,对不起之类的语言随处可闻,不绝于耳。在美国,不论什么人得到别人的帮助时都会说一声谢谢。即使总统对侍者也不例外。在商场里,售货员的脸上总是堆着笑容,当顾客一踏入店门,他们会主动迎上来,问一声“May I help you”当顾客付款时,他们会微笑着道谢,最后还会以谢声送你离去,同样,顾客接过商品时也会反复道谢。美国人在一家人之间也是客气话不离口,不仅夫妻之间如此,对小孩子们说话也常常带请和谢谢。这样,孩子便自己自然地养成了讲礼貌的好习惯。
美国人还习惯于对别人道“对不起”。当人们发生小摩擦时,一声对不起,常使芥蒂烟消云散。就是遇到一些微不足道的小事,例如向别人问路,在剧场中从别人座位前走过等,美国人会连声表示歉意。美国人把在公共场所打嗝或别人交谈时打喷嚏,咳嗽都视为不雅,遇到这种情况,他们就会说声对不起,请对方原谅。

Admission Number(准许入境编号):表I-94上所用编号(在F-1或M-1非移民签证的情况下,则是I-20ID印件上所用编号),供移民归化局(INS)查询此人时备用。也称“身份编号”(Identification Number)。
Alien Registration Number(外侨登记号码):简称“A”号码(“A” Number)。本来是美国政府给予移民的身份编号(Identification number),在某些情况下,由美国移民归化局斟酌决定,这种登记号码也可能给予非移民学生和交流学者。不过,多数持有F-
1、J-1和M-1签证留学美国的学生没有“A”号码。
“Arrival/Departure record”(Form I-94)(表I-94,入境-出境记录):移民归化局文件,在美国入境地点签发,作为外国国民合法进入美国的证明。表上明确注明证件持有者许可在美逗留的期限,或是确定一个固定的“截止日期”(expiration date),或是注上“D/S”字样。“D/S”意为“身份有效期”(duration of status),允许证件持有者在美国逗留到达成业经批准的目的为止。
“Certificate of Compliance”(守法证书):付税情况审查记录文件,签发给离境外国国民,以证明当事人业已付清全部所得税。在一般情况下,F-
1、J-1和M-1非移民签证的持有者不需要守法证书。守法证书也称“离境签证”(Exit Visa)或“离境许可证”(Sailing Permit)。
“Certificate of Eligibility”(身份合格证书):即表I-20 A-B、表I-20 M-N或表IAP-66。表I-20 A-B和表I-20M-N由同意录取该外国学生为正规全日制学生来美学习的得到承认的美国高等院校、职业学校或其他非学术性院校签发。表IAP-66(交流学者身份合格证)则由组织该项交流活动的单位或同意其进入该校的美国高等院校签发。表I-20和表IAP-66均非签证,它们只是申请签证的先决条件,仅仅说明持有者具有申请非移民学生签证的资格。
Change of Status(改变身份):即变换所持非移民签证的种类。改变身份务必得到移民归化局的批准。
Dependent(家属):需依靠另一人支持者。从移民归化局处理有关事项的角度说,“家属”仅指本人的配偶和十八岁以下的未婚子女。
Deportation(驱逐出境):指从一个国家将另一国被认定为非法入境或其居住有碍公共利益的公民强行赶走。
Duration of Status(身份有效期):简称“D/S”。移民归化局在表I-94(参阅“入境-出境记录”Arrival/Departure Record栏目)上的用词,意为该外国留学生或交流学者在美国逗留的期限为完成一个(或若干个)业已批准项目的需用时间另加三十天。
Employment(就业):一个人参加挣工资的工作通称就业。为了保障美国公民的就业,外国留学生、交流学者及其配偶的就业须受有关条例的限制。
